Moving!
Heya! Just wanted to leave a lil note and let you know that i will be moving the end of this month. things are very hectic and crazy during this process, so i ask for your patience until the transition is complete. i pop on and respond to messages as i can, have little time for chatting, but i'm still around, thinking of you and doing what i can to keep in touch! bear with me! :) *hugs* hubby got a new job outta state so we're heading that way, he's already there during the week, and i'm trying to take care of things here. and we're also trying to line up some place to move into there! kinda rough when you've been strapped and then need to do a big move. R.i.p. Raven. Your The Best Wolf Hybrid/dog Ever!
Today marks one of the saddest days of my life ever. In my pictures in my album are pics of my cat and my dog Raven... Raven was suffering badly and i could not stand to see her suffer this way anymore.. nor could my roommates Carolyn and Grim.So last week Carolyn made the appt. to have our dog put to sleep. We were trying to give Raven a chance to get better, but it wasn’t gonna happen. So seeing as her health was declining and her behavior was changing day by day and her eating habits were finnicky at best we decided it best to have her euthanized. Not an easy choice to make by any means, but it was one we needed to make for her well being and to put her out of her suffering. We loved her enough to do right by her. Shes in a better place now, but i miss her badly already. She was like one of my children. When we got her over 10 years ago she was the size of my palms at 8 weeks old....her final weight was 94.6 her time of death after the shot was done was approximately 4:36pm

Do you ever have one of those days where everything goes wrong? Well, today is that day for me. Ever since I got up this morning everything has gone wrong. Not enough sleep last night, had to take a cold shower, running behind schedule to get to work, the boss was at work in a bad mood when I got here, and then it just starts to pour rain outside and I realize, my windows are down on my car. I know the day is only going to get better and tomorrow is a brand new day, but thats tomorrow! And I can't wait! Growing up in Daytona Beach, being a racing fan isn't odd. But, being an African American F1 fan, probably is! That's what I am, when it comes to this most important upcoming election. I obviously understand the importance of who's in that office for the next 4yrs, but I just haven't become entrenched in the candidates, issues, or race itself. Romaine With Raisins
Romaine with raisins 1/4 cup salad oil 3 T. ketchup 2 T. red wine vinegar 1 T. soy sauce 1 T. sugar 1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds 1 medium avocado 1 large head romaine, broken into bite size pieces 1/2 cup golden raisins 6 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled salt and pepper to taste Combine oil, ketchup, vinegar, soy and sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved and set aside. Spread almonds on a shallow pan and toast in a 350 oven until golden, about 8 minutes; set aside. Peel, pit and thinly slice the avocado. In a salad bowl, mix together romaine, avocado, raisins, almonds, and bacon. Add dressing and toss gently. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Iceberg Salad With Cashews
Iceberg Salad with Cashews 1 medium size head iceberg lettuce, broken into bite size pieces. 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onion 1/2 cup chopped cashews 2 T. chopped parsley 3 T. sunflower kernels (roasted if you like) 3 strips bacon Salad oil 1/4 cup wine vinegar 2 t. sugar 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese In a salad bowl, mix together lettuce, onion, cashews, parsley and seeds, then set aside. In a frying pan over medium heat cook bacon until crisp; drain drippings into measuring glass and add enough salad oil to make 1/3 cup total. Crumble the bacon into the salad mixture. Return the oil to heat adding the vinegar and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Pour this over the lettuce mixture and toss well. Makes 6 servings, garnish each with Parmesan cheese.

My Er Trip
A trip to the ER Current mood: anxious Category: Life Well last night after days and days of dealing with my little visitor, Beth took me to the ER. I had lost a lot of blood the last few days and was feeling very weak and dizzy. They did a whole bunch of test and such, gave me an IV. They said my blood count was pretty low, but not low enough for them to give me blood last night. (Thank God) They gave me some meds and I am feeling a bit better today. Its so far been 12 days that I have been dealing with this, I just want it to end. I was so scared last night too going in there, thinking that something might have come back. But it does not look that way. I go to my doctor this morning to see for sure what they are going to do. Probably from what the ER doctor said, they will have to do a DNC on me. I like eye candy, white and black, doesn't every male? I generally like my gal to be rounded. I like a full figured woman also. Women can be sexy and look good no matter what size they are if they dress like they are content with their figure, and have respect for their own body. Dyno Results!
Well, at the end of the day, I didnt quite reach the numbers we wanted, But i got close. I was aiming for about 400 horsepower at the wheels, and about 400 foot pounds of torque. In the end, after a little minor tuning and tweaking, we ended up with 367 horsepower at the wheels, and 400 foot pounds of torque. That translates to just over 400 horsepower at the flywheel. Thats 33 horsepower less than i was aiming for, but i guess i can live with it. For anyone interested on the specs on this particular build, look at previous blog for everything installed. Heres a video of the last dyno pull we made when we put up the 367hp. Special thanks to JMS tuning for helping us out, and working with us today. My Health: I'm Okay.
No worries. The ultrasound came up clear. My blood tests are mostly back to normal now. I'm gonna get back on my bcp's to regulate my hormones and... the doctor wanted to do a catscan, but I've had two in the last two years... as well as MRIs and what have you... dangerously high amount of radiation to be exposed to.... and she wanted to do another laparoscopy and I was like... I had that done in 2004 or 2005..... and yeah.... I'm hoping everything comes together the way it needs to. Hopefully the pain subsides and the symptoms fade. Thanks for your prayers. I'm close to back to haunting the eff out of yous. I gotta go. I have LOTS of errands to run tomorrow.... er today. Yeah.

Sleepy Time Update
Hi All! A little birdie told me I was being too quiet and wanted to know if I was staying out of trouble. So I figured I'd shoot out a blog before I go to bed. I wonder who that little birdie is? hehehe Ok, here is the short version...I went to my GP yesterday, and he put me through a range of motion test on both of my shoulders. He came up with strained/possibly torn tendons in both rotator cuffs. As if the back wasn't enough. *eyeroll* So basically, I have no choice but to be good. I can hardly move! LOL I had to do some driving today, and let's just say, you don't realize how much you use your shoulders and arm muscles to steer unless you do something like this. Ugh! At least the left shoulder isn't as bad as the right, and I'm a leftie, so that helps. Here's the freaky thing...I have no idea how I managed to do this. LOL I have to train myself to sleep on my back because I usually sleep on my right side. Not anymore! Ouch! Ok, enough whining for now.

At Last A Post From Goa.
Holiday nearly over and a few books lighter at last. Fedex were most helpful and it is amazing to watch. The man behind the counter re-packed the box because David's spatial judgement is poor and at least all four packages fitted into the 25 kilo box which ended up weighing 31 kilos. That was a feat to actually get Fedex to ship 31 kg in a 25 kg box but then maybe they realise that it would not be possible for a duvet supplier to send 25 kgs of feathers in their 25kg box!!! The postal system here is good providing you do not mind sending uninsured parcels as they have just recently stopped insuring parcels etc. Does that tell you something or is it too time consuming for the Post Office to fill in the forms in triplicate three times over and then do the normal paper work involved in triplicate too. Baby Boy
In a few hours it will officially be my baby boy's first birthday. I can't hardly believe how fast this past year has gone. It's been quite the rough year, but we survived, and to say the least, I couldn't be happier how it all turned out. I can't seem to imagine my life without him. Even when I was pregnant and scared and wasn't sure about anything. It saddens me to think that the first year has flown by this fast and the next stage in his life is eminent.
