Yankees
Well the 2006 regular season is soon coming to an end. Needless to say the Yankees are going to the post season once again, like we didn't know that. This year was a trying year with two of our stars going down to injuries. What a blow losing two 100 RBI guys in the same month. With the loss of those stars for most of the season it was left to the others and call ups to do the job. Our rookies have lived up to the task, even better than some veterans. Our captain Derek Jeter is having an awesome year and is a candidate for MVP. The pitching staff has had some ups and down but they are pretty solid now. So who's out there that can compete with that, NO ONE. We are running on all cylinders and everyone else except for our cross town rivals has already come and gone. So it looks like a subway series is in the making this year and you know what happened the last time, The Yankees Won!

Missing Page....
I have been feeling sad today. Been missing my dog Page that was put to sleep Oct 15, 2003. He was the sweetest dog. I loved his so much. He had gotten cancer on his butt and became very sick. He was suffering for a while and we decided to put him to sleep. I know that was the right thing to do. That day was the hardest day of my life having to let him go. He only lived 11 years, not too long. :( I will always remember him. I just was sad today b/c I was going through some old pics of him. I put some up on my fridge. I hope he is happy in heaven and will always remember me.

Survival Training In Japan!!
Today began “Survival Training in Japan,” led by Goto. I had a traditional Japanese breakfast, Jim had a westerner/Japanese breakfast, and David just had a westerner breakfast. Then Goto took us to Toyota head quarters where we met A LOT of people. Of course the language barrier was there, many of the people we met did not speak English, and of course we don’t speak Japanese (trying to learn!!), but it was fun. The Top Photos
ok, someone answer me this. Why is it that a person can't use an adult image as their primary picture, but the Top Photos, which typically get far greater display on a page than someone's primary image that scrolls by occasionally, are allowed to be adult images. These pictures are often graphic in nature too, which probably explains their popularity of course. So perhaps there ought to be a push by everyone to have the LC staff exclude adult images from the Top Photos, or at least make a different Adult Top Photos category that isn't readily displayed on a home page. God knows I don't want to scroll through my home page with my kids sitting here and see some girl totally spread eagle with a dildo going up you know where. The Difference Between Death And Dieing
Im an Ex soldier. I have been deployed to war. I have seen death and I have killed. That seems so long ago but coming home has reminded me where i am strong and where i am weak. I can see a dead body, or a dead anything and not care too much. But i came home to find my dog in her old age. She is losing her ability to walk. She is always tired. Has caluses on one of her legs. How Things Are Going With The Cards…
Sunday is a day that we don’t get mail, just like in the States. Well today is Monday and the mail truck did run for some reason. This could be that it just means it wasn’t running correctly. So now that’s two days down with out mail. I must say that getting the mail is very exciting lately because of getting the cards. I’m running low on desk space already, but that’s not an issue…hell I got three huge walls to slather with cards, and they are empty and bland too. Well, I survived today....was a hard day though.. we sat around and watched home videos and we watched the memorial video and then we did a single white balloon release.... the one balloon symbolized the one year anniversary of mom's death, then next year we will do 2, and so on... I made a little not card with mom's name and birth & death date on it.... I've always wondered where it would end up.. but will probably never know!! I thought in time it would get easier, but some days are by far more harder than others....I can't believe it's been a whole year though.... seems like just yesterday and it still hurts so much!!

After shopping in a mall, a couple returns to find their car has been stolen. They go to the police station to make a full report. Jugged Hare

A New Ritual
I have a new ritual. Early Saturday mornings I pull on my favourite jeans and my beat-up hiking boots and venture out to a favourite place of mine.
