Spring Bike Week May 9th - 18th, 2008
Hope that you will be able to come to Myrtle Beach for spring bike week this spring. There will be a lots going on whether or not you ride a motorcycle. Let us know if we can help you or give you any advice on the bike week events.

Smoking
Smoking kills. Ok, it wont kill everyone and it wont attack all smokers with the same disease. But the impact of smoking on individual health, the health system and all non-smokers is apparent and real. I applaud smokers who are considerate. I think you should be, and thank you for being careful. However, when a smoker says "this is me, take me with my flaws" I dont think they are really thinking this through. What they are really saying is, "Im going to be a horrible example for kids, Im going to get sick fairly often, Im going to cost a fortune and in the end, I dont care what you think because its all about me." Its one of those addictions, like drinking, that takes a huge price on everyone around it even for the "casual smoker." The bottom line is ok, it smells bad. I dont think too many people would argue. Its not good for you. Ok, no one today will disagree. But its just plain selfish and shows poor judgement. Thats the real issue.

My Accident

Newest Update!! Cameron was taken out of ICU and put in the room with her brother Carson in a private room for the two of them. They are still a long way from recovering fully, but out of immediate danger. Thankfully!!! My Little Crash And Burn
I was heading to go out into the desert on a 90 cc quad, went to turn which i was turning to sharply and a fast pase and ended up crasheing ono the pavement. I was wearing my helmet but didnt have it strapped down. yet it managed to not even come off.i scratched up my arm that is close to my elbow. i also scratched up the palm of my hand. then i landed on my right hip really hard. i managed to get my happy ass back up to chase after the bike to stop it before it hits someone or something. then realized once i got it i was in alot of pain. i actually road the damb bike home. but ended up going to the hospital getting xrays dont and get my arm and hand cleaned out. luckily i have vicodine to help and motrine, and some other stuff to make my muscles relax.

People Judging Me Cuz I Am A Singel Mom
Why is it that when people find out that I am a single mom and I am only 23 they start to pass judgement on me? I am not a bad person just because he left me I am not the one that did anything wrong in my relationship. Just because it is over don't mean that I am the reason it is over. I tried to make it work I loved him more and more every day I had even told him that I loved him the day before he left me. I will always love him just not in the same way. I had already emotionally detatched myself from him because I thought he might be cheating on me with his ex wife even though he said he wasn't I still don't trust him. I was more faithful to him than any woman in her right mind would have been in my situation of no sex for over a year. I did everything for him that he wanted me to do I stayed home with his daughter, cleaned his house, cooked for him and made sure his son from his first marriage had what he needed when we had him for visitation. Talk about a good time...I had a freakin blast last night at the concert, Chris Jansen (sp) was the opening act, really good music...Then Hank Jr. came on the stage and omg, I think at that moment is when I lost my voice lol...I hadn't seen Hank since 92, he freakin rocks...He's so down to earth, doesn't put on airs like some stars do...The boy is a Steelers/Penguins fan, so he's gotta be good right??? LOL...He had an official Steelers jersey on with Bocephus on the back of it WOOOT WOOOT...The concert was held at Mellon Arena where the Penguins play their home games...It's sad they are going to tear it down, so many good times were had there...The way it's set up is so unsafe though, I mean the dome opening rocks, but the seating is dangerous...Very steep steps, hardly no room between you and the person ahead of you, so potty and refreshment trips are not safe, especially if you've had a few drinks in you... Well my 2 week vacation has started to come to a close, it’s back to work on Monday. For the most part it’s been good up until the last few days. Surprises, surprises and surprises!! It seems like some things just never change or go away. Ever now and then you get hit with some unexpected news that really floors you! And then sometimes you find it out in the worst possible ways. I think we all as people hope for the best in life and try to forget or ignore the bad things going on around us. But reality soon sets in and things have to be dealt with, like it or not. I always hope for the best in everything but as in all situations there are many rollercoaster’s and tests that we have to endure and conquer. Right now life is confusing! I don’t know, maybe one day I will eventually figure it all out!

It's 550am on a Saturday morning. Today is day 6 of setting up the store. We are hoping for a half day and to be off tomorrow, but it all depends on how much we get done this morning and how many people help to set up. We have had some great help from the other stores. That I can definetely say. My body aches, I have bruises everywhere, you would think I had been in a serious fight..lol I am so excited that this is finally coming together, yet I so can't wait for it to be over with. Whew! I am tired. Tomorrow is Father's Day. I still have not picked up anything for my Dad. I guess I better make a plan to stop by a store and get a card today, what ever may be available. My Trip
I just came to realization that it will be less than a year when we will start getting ready to put our place back on the market in order to go on a voyage, AKA work program to Europe. The idea is pretty much to travel indefinitely until we run out of moneys. The fact that we will have jobs will make it possible to extend the trip for over a year or more, we'll see. The main chunk of it will be in Scotland, where the work prog is originated, but planning to stay in Russia for a coupla months (my friend there is gonna try to hook me up with a govt translator job-she is a cop in Moscow) since we will stay with my Gramps, in Israel for the same amount of time (staying with my great aunt, and will apply for a civ IDF position), Germany for a while (staying with my cousin in Berlin). Just another one of those random past momemts I remember. Not entirely sure exactly when it happened but was 7 to 8 years ago, or there abouts. I was walking home from the park one afternoon after a game of cricket with some mates. I was carrying with me a cricket bat and a set of four stumps in a black refuse bag on my shoulder. Got about halfway home when this group of kids, maybe 5 or 6 of 'em cut me off and surrounded me, asking me for money. She's Heading Over!

I jumped in the truck and I haul ass cuz I know that call is coming. This call is a shots fired call with nothing but screaming on the other end of the communications phone. I hear the call for Detectives and Forensics... "955, County... show me arriving!" I get there and I see the medic van hauling a patient out on a gurney. I let the deputy on scene know that I am there when they need me to get going, I know that

"car Free Day"
So to all of you "green" types, I hate you all today. Today was "Car Free Day" in DC, I guess as some kind of "save the environment" initiative. Now, I'm all for reducing emissions and whatnot, but this was a horrible, horrible idea. See, some of us already take crowded public transportation to work every day. So today, in addition to the herds which normally pack the Metro (that'd be "subway" to some of you) to capacity every day, not to mention all the tourists which routinely clog up the system, we had precisely one metric fuck-ton of additional people trying to save the planet or something. My ride to work is normally about 20 minutes, give or take. Today it took me an hour and fifteen minutes. An hour and fifteen freakin' minutes. Trains were breaking down all over the place, which caused backups and delays. Then all the people on those trains had to offload and crowd into others, which caused even more delays and broken trains... I think the term is "cascade failure." As

Well i moved to Rockwall about 2 months ago...from Tucson(lived there a year)...and so far its been about 90% negative and 10% positive...but i'm estimating. Rinse under cold water, peel and set aside to cool. Slice potatoes. In a large frypan cook bacon until transperent. Add the potato slices; cook until lightly borwned. Meanwhile blend eggs with milk and salt. Stir in the cubed ham. Cut the tomatoes into thin wedges; add to the egg mixture. Pour the egg mixture over the potatoes in the frypan. Little New News {cancer}
Well... today's appointment turned out to be fairly nonproductive. I do know one new thing, which is that the cancer is estrogen / progesterone positive. Which is good in terms of preventing recurrence, though I was hoping to go back on birth control pills to regulate my cycles. Oh well, life is more important than convenience :P The diagnosis is currently stage 0 Ductal Carcinoma in Situ. However, the mass did not show up well on the mammogram, so they want to do an MRI in order to determine how extensive the spread is inside the duct. That will determine whether they can attempt a lumptectomy or if they need to do a full mastectomy. If they can't clearly define the margins, they will likely want to do a mastectomy so they don't miss anything. After the surgery, I will need to go for 5-7 weeks of radiation treatments, 5 days a week. Then I will likely start Tamoxifen to prevent it from coming back.

You Know It's Pretty Bad.....

I Just Got Freaked Out
I was getting ready to shut everything down and go to lay down and get some rest,when out of nowhere my front door handle and door sound like someone was trying to get in. My wife Sherry and her little sister Debbie grew up on Long Island, in one of those millions of neighborhoods where everyone's home is on a postage stamp 10 feet away from the next home on it's postage stamp. So one afternoon when she's about 14 or 15, she gets off the school bus and is walking down the street to her house, passes a neighbors house on her street, and the dad and a kid that is too young to be in school are out in the yard. On the whole seeing the world thing. Whenever we go out on deployment we got to places we call liberty ports. Different countries, but dont think that youll be there for a couple of weeks having fun. Starting The New Shop
For years i been running my business out of a useed trailer here on my farm. Well today we laid the foundations fer my new more permant building. ALTOONA, Iowa -- Loretta I. Worley, 81, of Altoona passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, Iowa. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. Loretta will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and as a woman who was dedicated to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Terry Schmidt and Sherry (Ken) Searls, both of Sioux City, Ronald Worley, Loretta Parker, Bernard Worley Jr. and Tina (Otis) Brookins; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and siblings, Helen Eberly, Lyle Rasmussen and Jeanice Singer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Help - Auto 11 Monster Has My Friends And I Need Help Rescuing Them.
