So I have had a strong case of the blahs lately, could not quite put my finger on why until today when I figured out a large part of the why. I try always to be there for the people I care about, even if it sometimes results in my harm. I listen to their problems and do my best to help them resolve them. I laid down "for just a few minutes" before charging forth for the day in the sunshine and some volunteer work to finish up a project today after playing around with attempting to master being able to morph some images. Another Day Of Laughs

will today i went in for my normal chemo therpy but be4 i started i wanted to talk 2 the dr. I was curious why i was doing so many scans and mri's and bone scans. she told me that they cannot kill the cancer cells in my lungs can only control them. she also told me i wasnt suppose to have live this long from stage 4 colon cancer and what i hav been thru. she said that only 8% live past 5 years and she doesnt see me living that long. As you all know. Cinderella and Myself met on Fubar. She lived in NH and I live in Long Island NY. We fell in love before we even met in person. 5 Years Wasted
As some of you know I've been going to college for the past 5 years. The reason I got to go to college is actually beause I have fibromyalgia and the state of Tennessee, in an effort to help out disabled people (the program is called vocational rehabilitation) pays tuition for disabled people who quality. They will only pay for 10 semesters though. Having Fibromyalgia, I was only able to take 12 hours most semesters, which meant it would take at least 10 semesters for me to finish. Well, I've made almost to graduation, but I didn't pass the last class I needed to graduate due to too many abscences because I have fibromyalgia. Since I just finished my 10th semester, vocational rehabilitation will no longer pay for me to go to school and I can't afford to pay for it myself. In fact, if I didn't have fibromyalgia I would've never been able to go to college to begin with. The obvious solution to this would be to somehow come up with the money to take that one class this summer or next

I found out Wednesday, my great nephew is brain dead. His mother left him with a "supposed" reliable sitter. The sitter left the room, left the baby( a little over a year old) in the tub with another child. When she came back in the room he was under the water! My nephew, the babies father was in Iraq, and is being rushed home. I am crushed! How can a person do such a thing? Why would you leave a baby that small in the tub unattended? Coining A New Term
This year's latest fashion appears to be shorts that are extremely short. In my estimation even shorter than last years shorts, but who knows I am a dirty old man so I could just be noticing more of the less. These shorts that I have seen basically go to about the pubic area on the legs, and I was thinking that there needs to be a good term for the style. I was thinking they should be oalled "Corts" since they are shorts that reach right about to the, well, uh, cooter, yeah that's it. Bacon-wrapped Scallops
Ingredients: * 24 large sea scallops (about 2 lbs.) * 12 slices partially cooked bacon * Seasoned pepper Preparation: Cook bacon gently until partially cooked but not crisp and still very flexible. Rinse scallops with running cold water, pat dry with paper towels. Cut each bacon slice crosswise in half; wrap each half around a scallop, securing with a toothpick. Sprinkle scallops lightly with seasoned pepper. Preheat broiler. Place scallops on rack in broiling pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until scallops turn opaque throughout, using tongs to turn scallops frequently so bacon will brown evenly on all sides.
