Just Some Thoughts From Inside My Head
Its what I GET to do todayI was filled with ease and comfort this morning. I attended a counseling meeting with my daughter this morning and the councilor said to me that “ it is great to see a father stepping up and being a man and taking responsibility for his family.” I was holding my 2 week old grandson and I had to think about being a man for a minute and what stepping up was all about. You see I don’t feel I knew how to be a man all that long ago in fact it has just been in the past few years that I feel I have become a man. Before that I wasn’t much more than a selfish toddler in a mans body. Oh I knew about responsibility but it was a duty a chore so to speak and I avoided that sort of thing as much as possible. Health Update Sept / 2010
Hi every one. Well those of you that will take the time to read this. Some of you know that I went and had some test done a couple weeks ago. And some of you that are close to me and know me already know this if you remember . Well just talked to my Doctor earlier this afternoon and he told me the results. Took awhile cause he was out of town for a week. Any way they did a new (mri / doppler ) and they found that I have a blood clot in my upper left leg. Due to the type of clot it is and where it is there is nothing that can be done surgery wise with it . For now will treat it with blood thinners, ( Yea rat poison ) , To control the blood flow in my leg. Now I'm not posting this for ( Oh I'm sorry // Or for sympathy ) I'm posting it just to let every one know . I have accepted this and so has my family. This is all in God's hands and I have always trusted and believe in him. So thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a good evening and great weekend ahead. Thanks ..... Tom

It's strange for me to be writing this really because having started I'm not really sure how to continue. So I'm still not having any luck with this blog. No one seems to want to help me out or even need my help so I think I am going to change what my blog is about. So now I just need to figure out something to talk about in my blog. Hmmmmm I think that I should just talk about what is on my mind at the time of wanting to write in here. So right now I am just wanting to know what is going on with my boyfriend right now cause he id all over the place right now. He says that he loves me and everything but he also seems to be pushing me away. I just wish we lived closer to eachother so we could be together easier. Restraining Order
My ex this past summer threatened to kill me and threatened to come to my place of employment and cause problems. He wanted to come and see the dogs and I told him that I could not see him. Nightclub Promoting: Attracting The Early Crowd
The "Early Crowd" is the group of people that come out to clubs or parties early on in the night. There are two main types of clubbers. Those who arrive late, and those who arrive early. If a party is advertised to start at 10pm, there is a percentage of people who will show up right at 10pm, and there is a percentage that will show up at midnight or later. Usually the people that show up late vastly outnumber the early crowd. But, this smaller Early Crowd is much more important than the late crowd. If you've been a promoter for any length of time, you'll know about the importance of attracting and holding an early crowd at your party. This can be quite a challenge sometimes. People are fickle. If the early crowd shows up to your party and no one is there yet, they won't stay too long. If this keeps happening, you'll never build up a crowd. They will walk in, stay for a drink to see if things pick up, then leave when they don't. Then the next group does the same thing. Then the next.

Family
I spend my time in my room. My computer is there, as is a tv, the only things I dont have are a refridgerator and microwave. T says forget it. For that matter, so does G. We dont have face to face conversations. Each of us has a computer and we Yahoo each other, rather than walk to another room. It makes things easier. Kinda. We do eat dinner together, which is nice, and we usually smoke a cig together before we do clean up and what ever else needs done. Here is the problem. They complain about me isolating. The truth of the matter is that we all isolate. G and M shut their door most of the day, T DJ's on fubar any chance she gets. The dogs even isoolate, although they are usually at least two of them together, they still prefer their own company than us, UNLESS it is feeding time, or bed time. Tuesday night was a pretty rough flare. Even after taking almost double the amount of Morphine! I was awake all night racked with pain and it didn't subside until the morning after. So I noticed today my cherry is no longer on fire. I have neglected CherryTap for so long that I have fallen below the #50 mark. My Life In General
well everyone my year as part of the preston kinsmen executive is nearly over. one more exec meeting then i hand over the reigns to someone else. to me the year was full of learning, taking time out and doing alot of soul searching. this year the club had their 60th anniversary carnival which was a big success, we also celebrated Kin Canadas 45yrs of partnership with the Canadian cystic fibrosis foundation where year to date we have raised over 30 million dollars in helping to find a cure and we will not be stopping until the cure is found. in my own personal life i have been going through some up and downs. but i am getting stronger each and every day. i am glad i still have my job i could have lost it when they shut down the keypad department and moved it to our sister plant in hungary but i didnt and i am thankful for that in many ways that was one of my biggest worries. i am heading to niagara falls in august for a 4 day kin canada national convention it should be alot of fun. even

So today started out good. I was going to meet up with my friend colleen at the mall. On my way up to there, someone three cars ahead of me decided to make a right hand turn and signal at the last second. Everyone slams on their brakes to avoid hitting him and each other, including me. My brake pedal goes all the way down and the truck is not stopping. A Year In Reflection
Last night I was listening to music and chatting after a long ass day of working; I began to realize "damn!!! I am going to be 42 yrs old on Tuesday." Automatically my mind went back in time; remembering the past year and it was quite sad. There were a few joys but not many. I fell in love with someone I had no business falling in love with. I was told by him that he loved me too but he had to be realistic. It would never work. I knew he was right, there was a big age difference and because of my situation. It was so hard to let go but I did and I cried for days. I lost a baby that I didn't even know I was carrying, again I cried for days. To top it off when I told the father of the baby he never once said sorry. Once again I fell in love with a man who broke my heart to the very core. Staff Meeting
Today, as the last Friday of the month, we have a staff meeting at our corporate office which is 75 miles away from my home. So... I am up early to get ready for the long but beautiful drive through the foothills of the Cascades. This morning I am supposed to be doing a presentation during this meeting so I have been preparing for it over the past few days. Then ... when the meeting is over around noon I need to rush back home where I will be conducting another meeting for our fundraising event. so, i've had a lot of anger issues for the past couple weeks, and i think a lot of it ties in with my relationship problems. either way, i've been having a lot of really weird dreams lately. and tornadoes always seem to play a big role in them. i decided to do a google search on the meaning of dreams involving tornadoes. and here's what it said: "Tornado is a violent storm in nature, and it may represent violent emotional storms in your dreams.
