Dumbest Hash Ever
Hubby is a hasher ( Hash House Harriers). They get together and drink beer then run for a bit drink more beer then at the end of the run they drink a lot of beer and make accusations of their friends and make them drink a lot more. They usually end up super drunk and needing rides home. This weekend hubby and his hashing buddies are going to be doing a grab and dash hash. Two tables each with a keg on em about 1 minute apart from each other. At each table you chug 1 to 2 oz of beer. Then you dash to the next table. Back and forth till the last hasher is standing. These guys are going to be so fucked up. I certainly hope they all have designated Drivers. Cause the beer they are drinking is 8% alcohol and they are not gonna be able to drive themselves.

last tues i lost my mate of ten years she went in sun with a heart attack was kept on life support ,she fought to recover but at 2:30 a.m lost the battle she was 72, since her death i,ve been working on dealing with never seeing her again or hearing her voice , i,m getting better day by day but i know i have a long road ahead, i,m gratefull for all the support i,ve gotten from friend and strangers online it helps the recover process alot.

Gotta Try!
For those of you that know me, you're aware I've been off work for the past two months due to problems with my left knee due to osteoarthritis. The results of that arthritis are a detached kneecap, a torn tendon or two, swelling in the entire leg that's been chronic for two months now. I've started injections of a chicken based product to try to reduce friction in the knee. It hurts a fair amount, but there seems to be about a 30% chance I'll have some improvement in the knee, but more likely I won't see any change at all. When meeting with my primary care doctor, he discussed having the lapband surgery done to lose weight. Over the past 20 years, I've gained 80 pounds... Mostly since I lost my therapist position, had to start working in retail to have some sort of income, and my feet and legs couldn't handle the stresses of working the sales floor for 40 hours a week and trying to maintain a program of distance walking and running. Don't Cry For Me!
Crazycracker passed away early this morning, apparently dead of starvation. He was found under his desk at work with a peice of partially chewed pressboard in his mouth. He was 38 years old. Those who knew Crazycracker had probably been asked to bring him food. Sadly, many of these "friends" declined, because they lived too far away, or didn't have a GPS. He had asked not to be buried. In leiu of a burial, his last wishes were to be stuffed by a taxidermist and posited in such a way that fubar friends could pose with him for pictures. Almost Homeless
not much is for sure -except that the sun might shine again tommow. It is now around 100 degress in the shade. All the money this month goes to pay the rent and we are still short of making full payment - thats ok but hole just gets deeper. In case you haven't read my Labor Day 2009 blog here is the just of the situation. My uncle was involved in a motorcycle accident Monday while doing a poker run. He received serious head trauma, a collapsed left lung, broken ribs, scraps, bruises, a broken nose, two black eyes, a ventilator to help him breathe and a severe brain bleed. As of last night, the doctors have informed us there is nothing else they can physically do to help him. The swelling and bleeding in his brain is getting worse. Even if by some miracle the swelling were to go down, he would have permenant and severe brain damage that would require 24/7 nursing care. The ventilator is keeping him breathing, without it he wouldn't be able to do it himself. His left pupil is dilated and fixed which indicates the severity of the brain damage. The doctors are planning to re-examine him this morning and discuss options with his daughter and son who are 24 and 21. They have decided they will take him off the vent if no prog

Here it is May 11th 3am (five futime) and I am restless. Today starts a journey and a new chapter in my life. I feel alittle sick too. I am neverous. Not for what lays ahead, I am overjoyed! I am not looking forward to this two day endeavor on the greyhound. But it will be well worth it. I look now back at the last ten years of my life, how things are so different from now and then. Im doing good things have been going alot better lately. I'm doing rifle marksmanship now and we're supposed to qualify friday. Its pretty much pop up targets from 3 different positions from 50 to 300 meters. If I can hit 36 of 40 targets I get a marksmanship badge. Not alot has happened since I wrote last. We've been pretty much just trying to qualify with our weapons and Ive been doing pretty good. So far I've gotten 31 of 40 which is a sharpshooter badge but im still trying to improve. Thats all he wrote this time besides coming home next month for Christmas.. Im really happy with him :)

Today was one of those days where it all just seemed to be too much for me, think self centered. but I was chatting with some good people today and with there friendship and there sharing with me I was able to bring myself back up and thinking more clearly. Have been having conversations recently with a few people about why do we love someone. I asked them "Why do you love your partner?" and I get answers like "He is kind to my dog." This is an attribute of that person that you might love, but that is not why you love them. I for one do not know the answer to the question I pose. What makes us love a preson? I Am Sure That I May Be Drunk
I cannot sleep, i have some type of sleeping disorder so i decided to have a drink.....well 8 later i am drunk. Am i the only one that suffers from this intolerable insomnia, it is driving me crazy and to fucking drink (which i enjoyed so no complaints). Anyway I thought you should know and if anyone has suggestions on sleeping I will take your advice, i have tried sex, ambien melatonin and none of that works. I have never known how to play that role. I don't know how to ask for help. I don't know how to be weak. When I was little I played mom to my brother and cleaned up after my mother. When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try. BAKED STUFFED CHICKEN 4 - 5 lb. Chicken 1 cup melted butter 1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good.) 1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT) Salt/pepper to taste Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush chicken well with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven. Listen for the popping sounds. Rip My Little Rascal :(
This is going to be a very sad Christmas. My little ferret Rascal passed away last night. She was my special little girl. She wasn't feeling well the past few days and last night was her final fight. I found her lying still and unresponsive in her igloo. I wrapped her in a towel and heating pad and held her in my arms. I gave her some water by eyedropper to try and get her to drink, and she did a little. After about an hour of talking to her and snuggling her, she started to come around a little. Her breathing got stronger and she even lifted her head a little and chattered to me in her little ferret way. But then after a few short moments of that, she started to decline again. I held her close and talked to her and scratched her favorite itchy-spot on her shoulders for another 20 minutes before she quietly slipped from this life into the next. I buried her out back under my favorite apricot tree. She always liked to nibble on her dried apricots. She was a very old girl.

First Date
First date yesterday. it was so awkward and long and I was the only one who made moves to touch him. I kept expecting oh here he is gonna grab for my hand or grab me by the shoulder or something but no... So to make sure there was some I playfully gave him nudges but nothing more. I've been doing some thinking today. Some of it has been very random and some things, I should have thought about a long time ago. Do they have human thoughts? I mean I know I see some people and think, "Ugh, they are so annoying." Do they think that about other dogs? And I even think some dogs are annoying. After thinking about that, I thought about how the only 'outside life' that this dog has is when he goes outside. Where I live there isn't an area that it can really go for a walk. Mum Amputation
Today tues 16th, I may not be around we have just been informed that mum is going for further amputation on her leg since the infections not been healed after last amputation,, they are now going amputate to mid thigh and with mums state of health its only a 40% chance her pulling through.. the outcome of operation depends if im on later or taking few days off ,, tc love n respects Claymore aka GYPSY Update 17th,,,, mum didnt get op yesteday due to falling + rising blood sugar levels, so we are expecting it happen later today, so another frettfull day coming up ... Updated 17th 23.20pm BST... mum got further amputation ( its now about 5" above knee) she pulled through afer small hiccup and waiting near 5 hrs for blood sugar levels and insuline hypo to subside, then a further near 2hrs in prep and the op took just over 1.5 hrs. shes doing well and its now hopefully just a case of recovery and healing,,thanks all whom showed / sent love for her mosy obliged ..

So last night at work I turned from the time clock to go back on the floor when I heard this pop and then my foot felt odd. Don't panic it wasnt a bone LOL! It was the button. A little button that held the strap of the shoe in place. Rendering the shoe absolutely useless. I had bought them less than two months ago. So I attempt to reattach this button for what seems like too long when I finally get it back together. I put the shoe on and POP goes the button and the elastic band that was holding it on. (laughter here) So I have this epiphany... I bought the shoes where I work. I know I dont have my receipt with me but they can research it. I won't be on here long, but I feel like I should do a little update. If any of you have watched the news, yes it's made THAT kind of news, you know that a huge storm went through my area.
