I just do no understand

on how I end up with head in hand

Maybe...

It is how I do not want to be emotionally hurt

because I'm tired of dusting off the lonely dirt

I have wanted to talk all along

But when you are near, you freeze my reaction

because I feel the pull of your attraction

so you see

it's my emotional being

that I always abort

in doing so, I cut myself short.
