day 1 - your favorite picture of yourself and one interesting fact for every year you’ve been alive
- 1977 - I was born in VA to my mother who was 16 and single.
- 1978 - My family (mom, grandparents, uncles and aunt) moved to FL when my grandpa retired.
- 1979 - I slept thru my first hurricane - Fredric.
- 1980 - I had my first surgery - tubes in my ears.
- 1981 - I watched my mom marry my stepdad in the livingroom of our home.
- 1982 - My dad (step-father), mom and I moved to Germany.
- 1983 - My sister was born.
- 1984 - My other sister was born.
- 1985 - My parents, sisters, and I moved to IL.
- 1986 - I watched Challenger explode on the tv at school.
- 1987 - I spent the summer reading the entire set of Encyclopedias that I won from winning an essay contest.
- 1988 - I was in foster care and almost put up for adoption due to my mother being very sick.
- 1989 - Finally free of foster care but lost whatever bond there was with my family.
- 1990 - My family moved to FL.
- 1991 - My family moved back to NC.
- 1992 - Moved to TX in Feb and back to NC in May.
- 1993 - I got married to my highschool sweetheart and then separated from him 3 months later.
- 1994 - I had my oldest daughter with my best friend and my mom present.
- 1995 - I moved out of my mom's house for the last time.
- 1996 - I had my second daughter alone.
- 1997 - I lived in hell this entire year and I came out alive.. what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger!
- 1998 - I tried to reconcile with my husband (yeah, we were still married all that time).
- 1999 - My boyfriend and I moved to FL to meet my biological father for the first time in my life.
- 2000 - I finally got divorced from my husband.
- 2001 - July 4th, I married my boyfriend who was 24 years my senior.
- 2002 - I got my driver's licence for the first time (btw, I hate driving).
- 2003 - I had my youngest daughter who wouldn't wait for the doctor to deliver her.. poor nurse.. hahaha!!
- 2004 - My husband, daughter and I moved in with Diane and her boyfriend to help one another.
- 2005 - My daughter and I moved in with my grandparents, then with my aunt and uncle just as Katrina hit.
- 2006 - Moved back in with my husband, 2 months later, fled with my daughter to MI.
- 2007 - Worked at my second favorite job - the florist!! :D
- 2008 - FLED MI!! Thank God my biological father and his wife were there to help!!
- 2009 - Moved into our first place with my boyfriend.
- 2010 - Married my boyfriend after a year engagement (to the date).
- 2011 - Had a hysterectomy to remove precancer.
