My 12 Hours Of Fun
The last twelve hours have been incredible. From great conversation to sleep to work. The building across the street from where I work is on fire and I’ve been staring out my window with a large group of colleagues watching the fire men and civilians run around. My (hopefully) Short Time Away
I wanted to apologize for my disapperance. Since the storms, I have had no power, water, and sometimes sewage problems...yuck. Got to love life. *smiles* My mother has been in and out of the hospital. My step son has been problemsome...lol....as all teenagers are....*just kill me* ha ha....Anyhow the stress of everything going on has left me with some problems with myself. Stress has a way of doing that. I am constantly tired and shaking like a leaf. For those of you that know me, I shake anyhow...lol....but now more so than usual. There are times I can not get up and function, but I am working on that. I hope everyone is well and will forgive me for not dropping a line. I am hoping to make myself well in a short period of time, but I did not want to appear rude to anyone. I appreciate any and all comments. This is an old Army video from the late 80's to early 90's which I had not seen in AGES and even to this day it brings a tear or two to my eyes when I see it. Today's Pat on the Ass goes to my hometown of New Martinsville, WV. I drove through there and some other local villages today and could not believe the signs. Every business with a marquee had "Home Town of WVU Coach Bill Stewart" or "Congrats Coach Stew". He'll likely drive through late this week and be very touched. My Hope Angel
On January 4, 2008 at 22:32pm I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I named her Hope Angel. At this time i didn't know I was pregent. I know crazy as it sounds it's true. The Father was a ex bf of mine but doesn't know and won't know about the baby do to the fact that the relationship was abusive. I was 5 and half months along which is 22 weeks. I held her in my arms of 2 and half hours and on Saturday January 5,2008 at one in the morning Hope past away. She was my Giant among Giants and now she walks with the Angels in Heaven. "OMG" I wanted to take a moment to tell each and every person who stopped by page during my AUTO 11'S how much I appreciated you taking the time to rate my photo's. Sorry guys, this isn't one of my infamous rants. This is me being a whiny brat. I was raised in Austin, TX. though oblivious at the time, I loved it there. I just wanted to spread the word that my husband went back to work yesterday ... and he is driving too. He went about 50 miles yesterday driving around and he also went to a meeting last night. Don't worry I was with him as an observer while he was driving.... he did great. He goes to a speech therapy session for the first time in 2 weeks since his speech therapist has been gone since he went on his vacation ... boy he is going to be shocked to hear how well my husband is talking.

I just got back from my husband's speech therapy session and he is progressing excellently. My husband inquired a support group for stroke survivors at the hospital and found out there is none from what the speech therapist said. My husband wants to start a support group and he highly recommended the Wii Fit be used in physical therapy at the rehab center and they have been trying to get one for several weeks. But, they cannot find them anywhere. My husband said we had one in layaway at KMart for weeks before Christmas and bought the Wii Fit at Walmart when they came in and they had not put out on the floor yet. They hope to find one soon. He did say that my husband is progressing very fast and he is one of his most exciting patients for he is doing so well and his brain is getting along so fast so quick. My husband is going to check into creating a support group for stroke survivors at the hospital real soon. He would be good at that.

My husband is getting better every day. He is getting better all the time. He is back from his business trip and is going to his speech therapist today and should knock the socks off his therapist with the progress he has made so far. He is being referred to a psychologist that specializes in survivors of strokes. My husband will also start a stroke survivor support group at the local hospital since they do not have one. My Husband And His Recovery
After exercising his mouth daily and trying to catch up with all the missed work at his job he is about 90% of what he was prior to his stroke. Driving is not a difficulty to him as it was a few weeks ago. Typing is not as a difficult as it was a few weeks ago. And walking around is getting better after his balance was effected. He says that is tongue feels swollen all the time and his biggest complaint is that he bites his tongue and lip far more that ever has. His other complaint is that his right arm and hand feels colder than usual. Today he gets a blood test, has a neurology appointment and has to run off to speech therapy session too. On Thursday he also he sees his primary physician to get a check up for overall health and results for his blood test he had today. This is going to be a very busy week.

My Husband For Feb 4, 2009
He is doing so much better ... his speech is getting better and his speech therapist said that by the middle of March he should be back to his old self again. Other than his bum knee giving him problems because of the cool weather (arthritis) you would not know he had a stroke. He still complains about his typing not being as accurate and fast it used to be but is improving.

My husband is getting better and better with each day following his brain stem stroke on Thanksgiving. Nobody that sees him can believe just a few months ago he had the stroke. He is nearly 100% now. Today we hear that his boss who is only 35 years old had a mild heart attack on Tuesday. He then had a stent put in on Wednesday. Not surprised ... his boss is a very stressed type A personality .. . he should change is lifestyle. I bet he will when he gets back to work in two weeks. Now they have something in common. My husband also had a heart attack 5 years ago followed by a quadruple bypass surgery. My husband is still fighting with himself to heal faster than he is naturally. His psycholist tells him not to be so tough on himself. He also tells him that it is amazing that he has progressed so far after having a stroke since most people never progress at all. He is getting better noticeably between his visits every week.

My Idea Of Hell...
So yesterday I did something that approaches my idea of hell. I went to the mall. I know what you're thinking -- you're thinking "Wow, Tanya, I think you're a girl. You're supposed to like the mall." My Illness
My friends, I have not been on much due to my illness and having to stay off my leg and in bed. I banged my shin against the edge of a black metal flatbed and it broke the skin and bruised the leg. I shook it off ....waited till the initial pain went away... then went back to work. I worked the rest of Friday with just the usual discomfort from smacking your shin on something sharp. Went home that night feeling ok. I woke up at 2 am Saturday with a great deal of pain in my right shin. I took a look at it and it was swollen to the size of my lower thigh...about 2x's more it's normal size. Went to emergency room and found out that the germs and filth on the flatbed got under my skin and created Cellulosis in my lower leg.It is avery painful cell infestion under your skin..Am taking very high doses of antibiotics and anti-Inflamatories to help the infection and the swelling. But..was told also that once you gfet this..it will nebver go completely away...Will flair up

My Imperfect Past
Ok, I'm not used to blogging, but here it goes. Just recently I got hurt. I guess I brought it on to myself, since I was the one not ready for a relationship, but things got a bit out of hand. I don't want to get into details, but all I know is that when you think you know someone and rely on that alone without truly knowing them, you get surprised, even disappointed at times. Love is a very beautiful thing. It can make you do crazy things and it can make you ignore the most obviously wrong things. I have had my imperfect past when it comes to love. Sadly, some of my relationships have been a bit weird and ended a bit harsh, again some, not all. I've had relationships end, that to this day I can still call them and hang out with them and even recieve/give them a nice hug. My Imagination
My imagination runs wild with provoking thoughts and dream forming in my head. I imagine the day I make you mine, officially the day we wed. Oh, what a beautiful sight me the bride and you the groom. As our family and friends patiently wait as I enter the room. Oh ya gyrl is working her dress and looking good as can be, while you patiently wait at the alter with your hand held out to me. We recite our vows and say our I do's, an I think of all the things I've done to you. Damn, look at us we've made it through, me and you, saying I do. As the pastor pronounces use husband and wife, together, forever we'll live our life. We then make it official with a kiss, I always wished it'll come to this. But at the time I'd come to find my inmagination had got best of me yet another time. Everything I dreamed to come of me and you, ended with me only imagining it was coming true.

The other evening, I was eating dinner at a local restaurant, minding my own business...laughing with my daughter over stories of her day, watching my son fill his plate at the buffet...when a woman walked up to the table. I had never seen this woman before in my life, but she approached me and started asking questions about my skin. "I know this is odd and I hate to bother you but...is that dermatitis?"
