My First Cd
Actually, I got 2 CDs at the same time. I think I was 10, I may have been 11. One was the Motion Picture Soundtrack of The Big Chill and the other was C&C Music Factory. Both came from my mom's subscription to Reader's Digest. I had always loved music. I started music classes with viola, chorus and piano in 2nd grade, when I was 7. I stayed in chorus every year since then, quit viola completely and taught myself piano later after learning to read music through chorus. I started off liking the classic rock and roll vinyls my father would put on as he taught me to play pool. At the time, my mom was into oldies and that sparked my love for that genre. The love for both rock and roll and oldies has stayed with me thoughout my life so far. Then as Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, NKOTB and other poppy stuff came out on MTV I plastered my walls with the posters of the performers in teeny bopper magazines. My First Two Obsessions

Do you ever have one of those days? That turns into one of those weeks? Where absolutely everything goes wrong. I have changed over the last couple weeks. It is all because I met a very amazing girl named Shae. Technically I have known her for what seems like a long long time, but it hadn't been till recently that we actually met in person. We originally met online over a year ago. My First Assignment Done And Submitted....
I turned in my first assignment in tonight. Yes I waited till the last minute. And I don't think I will be doing that again. The grades go in the computer Tuesday night. God I am so freakin nervous. I feel like it is the first day of high school again because I know what rides on these grades. I am trying so hard to keep focused but it is so hard with four little ones running around at night you just want your me time not study time. I have to find my groove to where I can still talk to my friends, spend time with my kids, do house work and of course my studies. I know I will figure it out I just don't want to mess up this early in the game. I am also going to try to finish my cross stitching stuff that I started to make for my new niece and for my daughters baby dolls. I have so many craft projects that I started before my separation that it is ghastly. Anyway just thought I would share with anyone who cares how excited and nervous I am about my first assignment. She took me to the mall to practice in the parking lot. I took a few turns around the inner part and then ventured to the outer part. Tomorrow (early in the morning) more lessons at the mall. or someother place. I will make sure I do very well with this. I have to. My First Day Of College
This is going to be very long, but I need to vent. Okay, I attended my first class last night, and I must admit that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was much, much worse. This course, as I understood it, was supposed to focus on business writing. It was my assumption that we would therefore focus on things such as resumes, business letters, and the like. Instead, I discover the class is really all about writing research papers. I might be able to handle that without killing myself, but the teacher added the bonus that everything we write about must be related to a local or national problem with the educational systems in our country. Why? Well, because education is our instructor's interest, and if she's gonna read all those papers, she might as well be interested. My First Night Out In Years...
OK... so most of you who know me know that I have not been on in over 3 years, 3 years and seven months as of last night. So at 10:30 I get a meaasge from my cousin who I have not seen in months and her husband has given her money and permission to go out.... so here is the tale:.. I guess I will tell you what I have been up to. Well I was in a relationship triangle and I don't recommend it because I got crushed by both of the guys. My First Cappuccino
I made my first cappuccino this morning since buying my fabulous espresso machine! I have been drinking espresso over ice since I got it. My First-solo Flight
Just a quick post in honor of the occasion. This morning, as of 8am, my flight-instructor released me to go up on my first solo-flight! I'm still in one piece, the plane doesn't have any dents or scratches and everything is still attached ;) In short, I did good for myself and made my instructor proud to have solo'd at only 11.4hrs in comparison to the other aviation students here at the university. So I'd rather my first fubar blog be about my drunken fun, but it's not. I'm feeling a little lost at the moment. I couldn't drink this year cuz I was so damn sick I couldn't get out of bed. Gee, I haven't written in here in a while. Anyways, you ever had one of those days where you're just tired of people in general cause of all their drama and problems and what not? I feel like I've been having one of those days like every day for the last week, and this morning took the cake. I got fussed at at 7:30 in the morning. Not exactly something I wanna wake up to with a doctor's appointment in a couple hours. But I lost a friend at the end of it, and quite honestly, I don't know how to feel. My First Tattoo
I want my first tattoo but it has to be something that means a lot to me... only problem is i cant draw. I can describe it to my best ability...when i was 16 i was date raped by 10 or more guys at a party, well nobody knew about it till about a few years ago but my parents gave me this ring that really meant alot to me that christmas. It was a ring that had butterflies circled around it. That ring has always symbolized strength and protection to me. Well the whole point of this story is that I want a circle of butterflies with my kids names on the inside symbolizing they would always be protected by me. Well, this is my first blog. Today has been a truly suckie day. Most days things do not really get to me, but for some reason today started bad and has done nothing but get worst. My First Motorcycle Ridding Lesson
I was so excited, woohoo!! DH and I got dressed and went out to the garage to get the bikes out. Oh I didnt tell you he bought me a motorcycle, yeah Baby. Its a 98 HD Sportster 883. I know I know not the one I really want but that will come later and it is a cool looking bike so nyah. So we got the bikes out of the garage and took them to the front of the driveway. I got on mine and we proceeded to go over all the controls, I tested the gears for a bit so I would know when I was in what gear, DH was going over safety stuff with me so I wouldn't go tearing down the street. We decided it would be best just for me to try and go up and down the driveway for now till I got the feel of it. Today I received welcome news from my Ortho Doc. He's not going to do surgery on my broken wrist! He had me put in a cast up to my elbow, and hopefully next week I'll get in a short arm cast! Woo-Hoo! He decided after reviewing the cat scan there was nothing he could do surgically to improve upon the way the ER Doc at Thorton set it. This made me VERY happy indeed! I should be back to work next week, in a short arm cast to replace this big one, and hopefully only delay starting my new job by one week. Thank the Gods and Goddess!!! Blessed be! ~ANDREA

My Fiance's Sick
She's been having coughing fits all day. She wasn't able to sleep last night because of the coughing. My Fight For Survival
I would like to take this time to let people in on what happen to me once. I was over in Iraq and we had a little free time so I was not going to give it up and wanted to take some pictures. One of my buddies told me to get on the gun and look over at the cam so that he could take the picture. After the flash went off all I heard was three shots being fired that sounded like slow motion. Without anytime passing by it felt like I was being stabbed in the right side and next thing I knew I was falling over. It took me a few seconds but it had finally come to me that I had been shot and was in need of medical help. I knew at that point with three rounds straight to the side that I was done for. But deep down inside of me there was a part of me going fight like you have never fought before. Medics and all kinds of people were out there to try and help me. My First Horse Show
Well, I had my first horse show on Saturday Feb 9th. For starters, I was nervous as hell. Just like your first time driving, or your first day of high school, or hell even college...You're not really scared (well, some aren't), just nervous. It's a new experience, one you've never had before only heard about. Throughout the day I had 5 different people offer me a beer to calm my nerves, and Mel even offered me a Valium, lol. It was Georgia's first time at a show as well. It was a new place for her, a new experience and for the most part she did well. She wasn't used to be ridden for more than an hour or so a day, but she was a trooper, and except for a few kinks she did well. I rode her for about 2 hours all the while trying to clam my nerves. My First Leap Of Faith
Many of you have chatted with me about my returning to college. You have listened/read as I vented about frustrations, and fears. But you stuck by me and told me that I could do it. Well this evening, I logged on to the Pikes Peak College website, and I finally admitted my college application. Not only that but I also enrolled in the COF fund, a stipend from the state of CO to help me pay for college. The funny thing is that I didn't have to enroll in the COF at all, they still had all of my information in their system. The class that I will be attending will be on Saturdays, from 0800-1600. That's 8 am to 4 pm, for the civilians..lol. Since it is only a weekend class, I need to find out the exact date, but am sure it will begin sometime soon around May 8th. I am nervous, and scared, and excited all at the same time. Even funnier, is that I was literally crying and laughing at the same time. Lol. Isn't that wonderful? So yeah, taking it one day at a time, is going to work. Thank you so

This is just a short story I've written, it was almost not completed due to an accident the other day. And because of that, I am GRATEFUL to be alive. My First Line Of Duty Death Of A Fellow Firefighter
I've been a firefighter for 6 years now and the inevitable has finally arrived. I attended the funeral service of a fellow firefighter, Riley Terrebonne Jr - Springfield Fire Dept., yesterday. He performed his last courages acts in the line of duty on Monday April 21, 2008. He left MANY people behind from his immediate family to his extended family, his fellow firefighters behind. I don't know this fellow brother well however after yesterday I feel as I have met him in person and know him instead of casually meeting him at one of the fire dept functions a few years ago. I am not a stranger to funerals. Our love ones come and goes as it is to be expected. However I could not and did not imagine nor realized how much honor, respect, love, hurt and remembrance of life that we have when one of our own have left us while on duty serving with us. My F-ing Computer
I got a virus on my computer Monday nite... dunno how - just did. I hate computers. Ran virus scan didnt find anything... turned it off thinking the stupid thing needed a rest. Turned it back on Tuesday nite and i have pop ups galore. I hate computers. Virus scan cannot connect. I try to go to Microsoft page and I get redirected to some f-ing porn site or another virus scan page... I hate computers. I close out of these pages and it freezes my computer. Im pissed. I hate computers. Been working on this again today. Virus scan cannot connect and the dumb ass ones i find online dont get rid of crap and what they want to get rid of is my legit programs. I hate computers. OMG WTF is going on? I am AGAIN running ANOTHER virus scan and a Microsoft scan that is supposed to fix my .exe files so I can use my programs again. I hate computers.
