I just got back from my husband's speech therapy session and he is progressing excellently.
My husband inquired a support group for stroke survivors at the hospital and found out there is none from what the speech therapist said.
My husband wants to start a support group and he highly recommended the Wii Fit be used in physical therapy at the rehab center and they have been trying to get one for several weeks. But, they cannot find them anywhere.
My husband said we had one in layaway at KMart for weeks before Christmas and bought the Wii Fit at Walmart when they came in and they had not put out on the floor yet.
They hope to find one soon.
He did say that my husband is progressing very fast and he is one of his most exciting patients for he is doing so well and his brain is getting along so fast so quick.
My husband is going to check into creating a support group for stroke survivors at the hospital real soon.
He would be good at that.
