Okay, so those of you that know us. My Steven has been home for about a month and a half. I've been busy ;) I wasn't expecting him to come home when he did. I had talked to him 3 days before and he told me that he was sick and it looked like the Army was going to keep him until he was healthy (the lil liar:) ). He then told me that he had sent me a package and that he should be arriving tuesday (I talked to him Sunday) or wensday. I told him that I had those days off and I should be home when it arrived. Tuesday came and went with no package. I was a little depressed, but since he was sending it all the way from Georgia it might not show up when he thought it would. So wensday I get a call from a friend of ours asking if I'd me her and her fiance at Shari's. We had gone there the night before just us girls. She told me that her honey realized he missed out and wanted to go. I said sure, I'm always up for shari's. So I go. I call them to let them know that I'm there, they said that they should only be 10-15 more minutes. So I order myself a pepsi and browse the menu. They show up. We chit-chat for a few minutes. All of a sudden I see somebody out of the corner of my eye. I turn and it's Steven with a rose and he askes, "Did somebody order a cowboy?" I almost tackled him there in Shari's. I was so happy and relieved to see him. I found out that Steve and our friends had planned the surprise.
It was the most romantic surprise I have ever gotten. I still get giddy thinking about it.
