My husband is getting better and better with each day following his brain stem stroke on Thanksgiving.
Nobody that sees him can believe just a few months ago he had the stroke. He is nearly 100% now.
Today we hear that his boss who is only 35 years old had a mild heart attack on Tuesday. He then had a stent put in on Wednesday.
Not surprised ... his boss is a very stressed type
A personality .. . he should change is lifestyle. I bet he will when he gets back to work in two weeks.
Now they have something in common. My husband also had a heart attack 5 years ago followed by a quadruple bypass surgery.
My husband is still fighting with himself to heal faster than he is naturally. His psycholist tells him not to be so tough on himself. He also tells him that it is amazing that he has progressed so far after having a stroke since most people never progress at all.
He is getting better noticeably between his visits every week.
