Driving Instructor And Test
I have a slim chance this week. I have to get in my training by Tuesday. Monday is no good for instructor so I will have to try for Tuesday or Thursday. Either way I will have to come in early. I can't get in any earlier than 6 something. This is really going to screw with my schedule unless I leave early Thursday. What a Hectic Day this is going to be. this is most disappointing that i did not get my driver's license which means i will have to either gun for Monday (and get my mom to rent a car so i can do a bit of driving) or try to work something out with my boss. I'm starting to pack finally, and in the process I figured out what has been holding me back from doing so... pain and loneliness. Cherrytap Learning..
CherryTap is pretty cool but I'm still getting used to how the message system works. Some of the things I'm having problems with is finding the messages that I have according to the pop-up at the top. While it's going haywire, I can't seem to find what the messages say all the time. Or I go into the Inbox and nothing's there. I thought it might have been my browser (Firefox 2.0.0.4), but it seems to depend on the day. Also, I haven't found a way to make CherryBucks since my computer is currently outside the US. I can fake it with Tor or Anonymizer, but is there any non-US specific routes I can do for them? But that aside, I like it. Any tips would be appreciated. :)

I'm blogging about chst site drama. Yesterday I rated a profile photo as I always do and suddenly I get a guy viewing me. No problems the jealous types of guys usually check out other guys if they've been on a womans site. Its all good no worries! Last night though I get this pissy high school type reaction from this guy about his wife. About Things
It's been a week since it all went down. My wife threw me out of our house. I'd found out a couple months ago that my wife wanted a divorce, but because I have a deployment coming up, we'd agreed to let me stay so that I can spend time with the kids. We also agreed to hold out on the divorce until I got back from Iraq. Then I left for annual training, and after I left she got to thinking, and decided that she didn't want to do all of that. Two days into training, I get a text from her telling me to call home later that evening. When I finally called, she informed me that her parents were paying for the divorce, and that their stipulation was that I move out. Less than 24 hours after I got back from training, most of my stuff was packed, and I was moving in with a friend of mine in Springfield. I've been here for a week, and I've been doing a lot of thinking. I'm kinda glad the she fucked me over the way she did. I've been a lot happier since I moved down here. I've bee

One Of A Series Of Idle Thoughts
I have thought of moving to either North Carolina (with my brother) or Baltimore with my aunt (finding a place of my own). The only thing stopping me is the cost of living. If i could find a descent job and go to school in Baltimore I would probably move there and leave this city. I have also thought about just leavign the city i am in for a city further north. I guess for now i will just focus on trying to get out of the city every once and a while. Perhaps no matter what city i will be in ...there will be moment's of boredom. i just wish they will happen less than they are now. Sunday, June 24, 2007 Progress~! Kaleb is making progress! Friday night a Native American Christian Pastor came up to the room and played the wooden flute for Kaleb... It was absolutely beautiful. Kaleb loved it, he responed so much. He was moing his whole body and opening his eyes. It was wonderful to see such a positive response out of him. So he will be coming back once a week and I am looking forward to this. Early Saturday AM Kaleb had a couple spells of tachycardia (high heart rate) and problems maintaining his tempeture. They've taken the air blower off of him and have replaced it with a heating Pad that is underneath a buch of sheets on his bed. He had periods where he was awake on Saturday. I worked him out and he tried to fight me so that is a good thing. Him showing resistence shows that he is thinking. We talked to the doctors and hopefully he will be making some progress. The menengitis is pretty much gone. They are giving him one more treat

I love my wife very much! I really do. I get frustrated with her though. She does not like sex all that much. Last night we were watching the movie "Click." Well my life has been having its down more than its up right now. I suffered a major breakdown here last week and had to go to the er. I am ok now, but they put me on some medicines and I have to go back and see a regular doctor. I found out too that my boyfriends ex-wife never sent in the paperwork for their divorce and so we have no idea where she is at and we have to pay $485.00 to refile and not to mention we have to run a 4 week ad in the paper. i just wish this shit would end so that we can get married. if I ever see her, I would love to just slap the shit out of her. Post-dj Battle Thoughts - Part One, General Thoughts/observations
Last night was the big CT-wide DJ battle. In the interest of fairness, I won't share my thoughts about who I think was best in the contest and why until after the contest ends next weekend. This blog will just be for my other thoughts on the night. So here goes: -This was the busiest I have EVER seen Twisted Radio lounge! 45 listeners JUST IN THE LOUNGE at one point in the night! June Update
As some of you know I made it back to my base last week. The return trip wasn't to bad. The flight from Denver was packed and my 6'2 candy @$$ was in a middle seat.... for 10.5 hours... but I only had a 2 hour layover in Frankfurt then another 5 or so hours to Kuwait. The doc had given me some sleeping pills and I think I was awake for maybe 30 min of that flight.. YES!!!! Got into to Kuwait and started up the stress machine. I was in a good mood since I had been sleeping and just back from vacation but man, some people are NOT built for customer service. I went to get a military flight up to here and had to deal with a pissed off 80 year old E-6 who was hating life... the fun never ends. I get back here and everyone is gripping, bitching, moaning, complaining and I just have to laugh. That was me before I left and that will be me in a couple of weeks. Summer Lime Chicken Breast Stir-fry Broccoli
Ingredients for the lime chicken breast: 4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts - each 1/2 pound 1/3 c olive oil Juice of three limes 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced 3 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped 1/2 tsp each of salt and freshly ground black pepper 6 yellow peppers 6 red peppers 6 orange peppers Ingredients for the stir-fry: 4 c fresh broccoli 1/4 c chopped walnuts 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp chili oil 1 tsp sodium soy sauce Garlic powder Mix all ingredients for the lime marinade together in a medium bowl. Add 1/3 cup olive oil, the juice of three limes, garlic, fresh cilantro, and salt and pepper. Lay boneless chicken breasts between 2 sheet wax paper. Using a wooden mallet, pound each chicken breast gently to tenderize meat. Place chicken breasts in lime marinade for a minimum of two hours - keep covered and chilled. Zesty Three-ingredient Chicken
1 (8 oz.) bottle red Russian dressing 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler fryer, cut up 1 med. onion, sliced In 12 inch skillet over medium heat in 2 tablespoons hot Russian dressing, cook chicken and onion until chicken is lightly browned. Stir in remaining dressing; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken to platter; skim fat from sauce. Spoon sauce over chicken. Serves 4.

Teriyaki Lamb
7 to 8 lbs. leg of lamb, boned 6 to 8 cloves garlic Ginger 1 lg. bottle Kikkomann teriyaki marinade 2 c. cooking sherry Slice garlic and insert into slits on the bone side of lamb. Rub ginger liberally over boned side. Marinade of Kikkomann and sherry is poured over lamb and placed in a large plastic container. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Turn frequently. Grill on barbecue for 18 minutes per side.

Chicken Surabaja
3 (3/4 lb. size) whole chicken breasts, boned and skinned MARINADE: 1/4 c. soy sauce 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 clove garlic, finely chopped Dash of white pepper SAUCE: 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. soy sauce 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of cayenne Canned French fried onion rings, optional Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes. Place in shallow baking dish. Make Marinade: Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, pepper and 1/4 cup water. Pour over chicken. Refrigerate 1 hour. Thread chicken on 12 skewers. To cook outdoors: Prepare coals. Adjust grill 5 to 6 inches from coals. Grill chicken 12 to 15 minutes, turning frequently. To cook indoors: Broil chicken on rack in broiler pan, 6 inches from heat, 6 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, make sauce: Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Serve chicken with sauce poured over. Garnish with onion rings if desired. Makes 4 servings.

(low Fat) Chicken Lasagna
8 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked 2 c. chopped cooked chicken 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach and/or broccoli, thawed and drained well 8 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese 1 sm. carton low fat cottage cheese 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce Spray 9x13 baking dish with Pam. Pour 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce in dish. Place layer of noodles in dish. Place spinach, both kinds of cheese and chicken in dish. Pour about 1 1/2 cups sauce over this.

Spinach Lasagna Bechamel
SAUCE: 6 c. milk 1 c. butter 1 c. white flour Salt and pepper to taste 1/8 tsp. nutmeg LASAGNA: 1/4 c. vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 c. onions, chopped 2 lb. spinach, frozen, thawed and drained 3/4 c. chopped fresh parsley 1 lb. ricotta or cottage cheese 2 eggs 2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese 1 pkg. lasagna noodles Sauce: Heat milk until hot but not boiling. In another pan melt butter. Whisk in flour, cook 3 to 4 minutes, stir constantly. Add milk gradually. Stir until sauce thickens. Lasagna: Saute garlic and onions in oil until translucent. Stir in spinach and 1/2 cup of parsley. Set aside. Mix rest of parsley, ricotta or cottage cheese, eggs, 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese. Cook noodles al dente. Better yet, don't cook the noodles. Just layer the raw noodles in the pan as you would if they were cooked. Oil a large pan, layer ingredients in following order. First, 1 1/2 to 2 cups of Bechamel sauce, 1/3 of noodles, half spina

1 grated onion and few tsp. olive oil (saute) 2 cans of tomatoes OR 1 qt. jar put in blender or processor 2 cans of bean soup (with water added) Minced garlic Salt and pepper to taste Wide dumpling noodles (12 oz.) Combine onion, tomatoes, bean soup and seasonings, simmer on low heat. Boil noodles, rinse and add. Simmer another 15 to 20 minutes. This a quick version of an old Italian recipe handed down from my father's family. It has become a favorite for those cold winter evenings. Serve with a baked loaf of Italian bread. This meal will make you feel warm all over.

Pasta With Vodka
1 lb. penne or other tubular pasta 5 tbsp. unsalted butter 2/3 c. vodka, preferable Polish or Russian 1/4 tsp. hot red pepper flakes or more to taste 1 can (16 oz.) Italian plum tomatoes, drained, seeded and pureed (can use 3/4 c. crushed drained tomatoes) 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne until al dente (tender but firm) for 8 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large noncorroding skillet over moderate heat. Add the vodka and hot pepper and simmer for 2 minutes. Add the pureed tomatoes and cream and simmer 5 minutes longer. Season with salt. When the pasta is al dente, drain well and pour into the skillet with the hot sauce. Reduce the heat to low, ad the cheese and mix thoroughly. Voila! Serve with a salad and good bread (it's pretty rich and very potent). Serve 4 to 6.

1 pound ground beef, lean 1 small onion, chopped 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 10 3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup, condensed 4 ounces mushroom stems and pieces, drained 3/4 cup sour cream, or yogurt In medium skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain excess fat. Stir in garlic salt, pepper, soup and mushrooms. Simmer covered, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat through, but do not boil. Serve over rice, noodles or chow mein noodles. Serving Size: 4

Myspace
I have had a myspace profile for quite some time. About 40% of the users there are commercial spammers. Some are easy to detect, others are more sneaky. Some will actually try and phish your password and then spam all your friends with your account. People post huge files to you profile which makes it take forever to load even with broadband. Some member profiles actually crash my computer and/or my router. Here is the rant part. Yesterday I tried to send a bulletin to all my friends to tell them about cherrytap and the message got blocked by myspace and I got sent a warning message about my account. Myspace is running so slow today and I keep getting error messages. They better fix things, or I am leaving. Beth

Evan Almighty
I saw this one last night. OMG!!! Absolutely hysterical. Wanda Sykes definitely stole some of the scenes. The whole case was wonderful! We actually got to see Morgan Freeman dance. And the message was a really good one too. Be sure to stay through the first part of the credits...you get a little treat. You could really tell that everyone had a great time making this movie. I hope they do another one but we'll see.

Daughters Grad Party
Well we survived my daughters grad party this weekend. We weren't sure how it was going to turn out since we did everything last minute as usual. It startedc off boring as usual, cuz it was family in the daytime. Then came the night and I ended up with about 150 kids in my yard, drunk as pigs and every bit of alcohol I did have was gone. That part wasn't so bad but when I ended up having some gang members from our rival city show up with guns, things were out of hand! They tryed starting all kinds of shit and here I was trying to be Mom, the boss, right, you know, the one in charge....lol. That didn't work out to well and the next thing you know I must have had the whole cities police department here trying to catch these kids. In the end everybody partyed and had fun till I threw them out at 4:00 am cuz I had to be to work at 9. What a great night it was!!!
