Sitting Here In The Dark In Montreal
Hmmm.....always so may things going on in my mind but nothing to really say or show. I have been in Montreal,Quebec for 3 days now with my best friend. We have had a lot of fun and still have 5 more days of it. Went to the science museum in downtown Montreal today to see the Body World exibit. FUCKING SWEET! All the bodies were so breath taking......all the time it takes to dissect a cadaver that way is amazing. Master surgeons I salute you. So, I'm sitting here watching the story of this poor pregnant Ohio woman who was murdered by her children's father and I just don't get it. Now they saying she was killed in her home, which means that her son saw her murdered being that he was found home alone a few days later. Who in their right mind would kill someone in front of a child? In front of their own child (he was the father of the boy and the unborn child)? I just am so disgusted and angry. Grateful
I remember being a kid and listening to the symphony in Severence Hall. Thinking that those musicians must live a great life and have amazing attention span when certain sections were not needed in a work. When I was older and I sang behind the orchestra with a choir, I saw that the brass section, when not playing had their "field and stream" or whatever magazine handy to bide their time. You could have blown me over with a feather. Working as a chorus member in an opera is exhilerating and zany. If someone ever told me that the hottest thing to do in a green room was to play euchre and connect four. I would have laughed you off as a buffoon. Alas, that it what we did for all of the performances. I love it to distraction! Nothing is as funny as a room of confident singers, nor as frustrating. Hopefully, I will have many years of this fun.

I think I may have offended someone that I think is really cool, and I am hoping that i didn't, because that would really suck....you just don't know how far is too far for some people....anyways, my trip to Virfinia is back on, and is less than 3 weeks away...I am a bit nervous, but I'm sure everything will turn out great!!! I'm at a loss. Verbally, it doesn't happen often. I got a call from a friend today asking me what happened to Chris Benoit...as if I were a close personal friend. I'm not. I'm just a big wrestling fan. I'd TiVo'd RAW and had been busy working all day, so I had no idea that Chris Benoit had died, and worse, he died with his wife and child. I've always been a huge fan of this talented man. I liked the fact that he was a man of very few words. He always let his wrestling speak for him. I finally got around to researching Chris Benoit's death...and got very sad and concerned. According to reports, no gun was used...and they weren't releasing information. It looked to be a homicide. I had concerns and fears that it was going to be something awful...like murder/suicide...and worse, that it could be blamed on something like 'roid rage. My friends and fans, you may or may not know that i am a huge wrestling fan and today we lost one of the greats. Sadly WWE superstar Chris Benoit and his wife and son were found dead in their home. Almost everyone the knows me knows I love to watch wrestling. Its the one thing I have watched my entire life. Of course, everyone knows the storylines are fake and they dont naturally land that way after certain moves. But these guys put their soul into entertaining the rest of us and helping us escape reality for a while. Chris Benoit was not just one of the best, but THE BEST EVER! This is just a vent to get it off my mind more than anything. My friend is a good girl from what I know of her however lately it is like she is begging for trouble. A hero is defined in Webster's as: A man admired for his achievements and noble qualities. A hero to me is a person who saves another life, a person who will walk thru fire to help someone, a person who passes knowledge and life experiences on to others. Today is a sad day for me .. I found out that my favorite wrestler and person in general .. Chris Benoit "The Rabid Wolverine" and his family was found dead in their home this afternoon. Any of you that know the WWE know what I am talkin about .. he was a great man in general .. so friendly to his friends and to his fans. A Snap Shot Of Two Weeks Ago
Things here are OK, except I was violated on the employee shuttle bus to the airport. The bus is small and was full and I didn't get a seat. Something is constantly bumping and rubbing up my ass. Hi all, I hope your weekend went well. Mine was ok. Had some things that we needed to get done, but of course it rained so didn't get anything done that we needed too. I just found out that it looks like I am not going to be able to make it to my sister's ceremony. My sister and her family were going to be driving, but it turns out that her husband is on mandatory overtime that weekend, and their car won't make it there and back, so my sister is just flying, the kids are going to stay home. So I don't have the money to fly, according to my sister, my mom would pay for my flight, but I would have to find a babysitter for the days that I am gone. Memorial Ride for Fallen Soldiers There was thunder you could hear for miles in Western Minnesota this weekend. The sound came from a line of motorcycles almost five miles long. The meaning behind this ride did not get lost underneath the rumble. More than 400 motorcycles, almost 600 riders were part of the 2nd annual L.T.D. Memorial ride, which went from Montevideo to Madison, then Ortonville to Morris, and finally, ended in Appleton. The ride was in memory of three members of the 151st who lost their lives in Baghdad in 2005. The money raised will provide scholarships bearing the names of the three men. Fire Academy Remembers Firefighters Friday, Jun 22, 2007 @04:13pm EMMITTSBURG, MD- Firefighters attended an emotional service in Frederick County on Friday. A bell was rung nine times at the National Fire Academy in Emittsburg. It was a tribute to the firefighters killed in Charleston, South Carolina this week. In the crowd was a fire chief from Mobile, Alabama who lost a member of his department last year. Firefighters come to the academy from around the country to take training classes. The head of the school said he let the students organize the service. "They are here for a week or two weeks taking classes, but when a tragedy like this happens, they all feel it. This is especially hard on our students because they're away from home; they're away from the men and women that they work with. I feel as though I have been ignoring everyone over the past few days. There has been alot going on in our family over the past week, and it's been a little difficult to get back into the groove of things. As most of you know, and some may not, my Father passed away June 16. It has naturally been a very difficult time for my Mother and me, and the rest of our family, as Daddy was so much a part of our lives, and meant so much to us. I know some of you may get this email more than once, and i appologize, but I don't want to miss anyone, when taking the time to thank you all so very much for all you've done for us during this time. Vacation Time!!!!!!
Hey Everyone! I just wanted to let everybody know I am going on vacation. I am going to Texas on July 2nd and will be returning on August 16th. I am going to visit a friend. She is getting married and I am her Maid Of Honor. I am really looking forward to this trip. This is the first vacation I've ever had. Hunter and I are taking a plane. And the plans are for us to both be in the wedding. And yes I will have pics. I promise. I am sure I will be able to get online every so often while I am gone, but I am planning on having fun doing other things than to be online much. Also, for those of you who have my cell phone number, I no longer have that cell phone. I got tried of never knowing when I was going to have a phone because of the bill getting too high.
