Behind these broken mirrors
All the pain I see
Makes life impossible
For me to be me
Behind these broken mirrors
All the pain from the past
Comes raining down upon me
I don’t think I can last
Behind these broken mirrors
Is it me that I see?
Can I truly move on
And be who I want to be
Behind these broken mirrors
I look into myself
And find reassurance
But I didn’t think it helped
Behind these broken mirrors
Is where I will truly find
The help I need to move on
And put the past behind
Behind these broken mirrors
I do not want to be
But I have placed myself here
And must find my own way
To break free
