I'm finally in college, yay. Got my classes paid off and signed up for my student id card. I got a lot of things done today. I even borrowed new books from the library! I got this cartoon idea goin. So I didn't log on to fubar in a few months... I've noticed a feature that I enjoyed before isn't being utilized... What happen to the lounges? I use to enjoy going in those from time to time and listen to the different tunes and see what kind of interesting conversations are being had. I see the list of lounges, but they always say inside "0"... what gives? Am I missing something?

Where Did My Weekend Go?
Man, I can't believe it is Monday already. I had a fabulous weekend. We sent the kids off to the country to visit their cousins. So being kids free the hubby and I had a nice dinner at Brio here in the Woodlands complete with a bottle of Marlot. Afterwards we went home and watched a movie in bed together. (Insert your own imagination here as I don't kiss and tell...much) Saturday I had a party with a great group of women in Channelview. We laughed and talked about all kinds of things if you catch my drift. I made a couple hundred dollars for having fun with the girls. I even made it home with plenty of time to snuggle before lights out. Sunday was spent shopping at Best Buy. I got a couple of new CDs ...Thanks to my friendSteve..here at CT for turning me on to Better Than Ezra. I even checked out getting a new PC or laptop. I'm not sure what I want yet so I'm still window shopping. I have a fabulous life!

There comes a point in a girls life, or maybe just mine where I give up. I just don't give a damn anymore. You can call me emo, you can call me whatever the fuck you want for all I care. I'm done with this "search" of love. I'm tired of being played, being a piece of ass and being non-existant. I don't know why I decided to post here. Quicksand Or Glue...
I finally did well in a class. But I only had to concentrate on it for 6 weeks. That's helpful for some with the short attention span I have. I hope that the next summer class goes as well. I know it's unlikely, but here's hoping... My progress toward my degree feels like too little, too late, but I suppose I'll know soon enough whether I'm on Academic probation or some such thing. I just feel like the path I walk is through a swamp or quicksand. Or maybe a little like glue. Some of the obstacle always stays behind to remind you of the past. and in my case, it'll suck when I finally do finish, because knowing myself, I'll have to examine everything that kept me going. I'll have to swallow what little pride I have left in order to thank the people who I had no choice but to rely on to complete my goal... assuming that I do get my degree... big assumption. One I'm not completely comfortable with. Being a history major, I understand that nothing is written in stone. We're luck

What's Happening On Thursday
I am getting married on Thursday. Sorry to all of those people that were interested in dating me but I'm in love with the guy I am going to marry. Birthday(s) Fun
I don't think I'm ever here anymore, but anyway. Had a birthday party for Andrea and Kait yesterday. Kait's birthday was the 8th, Andrea's is the 31st. So both my lil girls are 5 right now =) Cake and ice cream pretty much. They helped me pick out their cakes and frostings and candles last week, then yesterday morning, helped me bake and decorate them. Twas lots of fun. Of course I had to hide the cakes till 6 cuz all day they wanted to eat them. My bestest friend Manders came with her hubby. My dad, of course, was there, and his girlfriend. And Aaron came too. Lots of cool stuff for them... Bikes, pony toys, purses, etc. Yep. Lots of fun. But they're growing up so fast. Unrelated to birthdays... I Got A Job

I had someone who i thought was truly interested in me and cared about me promise something and not follow through on what they promised. The Pirate Test Etc.
Just got back from the eye exam. They gave me the visual field test, or pirate test as I like to call it (it involves an eye patch) again. The same test was done last week as part of my exam so I have no idea why she wanted me to do it again. Midway through the test, which is quite uncomfortable, the intern administering it stopped and asked to check the eye patch, then started again. This had me a bit worried, but the results came back fine and it was even covered by my insurance(I'm still a bit curious about what happened). While at the mall after the test I ran into this guy Adam who I knew in college. Now, Adam is an interesting character. Well, here goes. When I was 5 months old and my older half-brother was two, my dad beat him badly. HE became furious when my brother pooped in the tub and began playing with it. Okay so today was definatly a weird day. My idiot roomates alarm woke me up and he wouldnt wake up so I threw the alarm clock at him haha. Being his wife of 32 years, I know this better than anyone...therefore, I wish to inform all of you that Buster had 2 heart attacks yesterday morning and was airlifted to Borgess Heart Institute in Kalamazoo, Michigan yesterday morning and underwent open heart surgery at 8:00 this morning. He is in critical condition but made it through the surgery ok. His left lung is in very bad shape so his recovery will take longer than the average person. His stay at Borgess will be at least one week and maybe longer. So... yeah... Putting the finishing touches on a huge project at work, and I'm about detailed out at the moment... Bored now. And craving a cigarette very badly, but trying to quit. On the up-side, however, yesterday I scored over 246,000 points on the Guitar Hero II song "Less Talk, More Rokk" by Freezepop, beating my previous high score by 20k. 89% accuracy, and a five-star rating. Very cool. I didn't do too terribly bad at "Thunderhorse" by Dethklok (from the Adult Swim cartoon show, Metalocalypse) either, but didn't beat my high score. Continued Frustration Level Off The Scale!!
There is probably a devil/evil force out in the world. I know this because of having to deal with insurance agents and their rules. For 8 weeks I have been dealing with an insurance company trying to get my wage replacement checks. I considered 2 to 3 weeks a fair time for the paper work. I even started the process the end of may. My short term ins. ran out june 9th. I have been told something different by each person I dealt with. My case agent has only returned 1 call in the entire 8 weeks. They requested records from every dr and facility I ever went to from dec 04. I hurt my back in nov 06. Recently as you may know I've been trying to make new friends. Not much luck. One of the things impeding the progress is people that don't like using modern technology. Phones. If you give me your number and I give you mine..the logical thing to do is use it. Not Good
I have not been around for a while because I have been very ill. I cannot keep down food or water and I now have an appointment tomorrow to have a port put in my arm for fluids. Not a pretty site. Harry Potter
So at 12:01am Saturday morning the last adventure for Harry Potter went on sale. Luckily I had my copy on hold & had it in my hands by 12:45am. At 8 am I opened the book stopping only to visit with friends who came to dinner & finishing the last typed word at 11:22pm. OMGOSH it was a wonderful book. I am pleased & saddened with the way it ended. I hate seeing the author ending this delightful series. To everyone who reads Harry Potter, do enjoy this final book as much as I did.

Well, since American Idol is over for the season, I guess I'll start blogging about "So You Think You Can Dance." I got hooked on this show the first season, and the second season was so glad when Benji won -- his personality totally won over the audience.I love the quality of talent on this show -- it's amazing to see how some of the dancers look so graceful and natural -- beautiful! So during the audition process I was not too surprised to see some of the same tactics that American Idol uses in showcasing some strange and not so good dancers. Of of the most unique was a guy who called himself the "Gold Inferno". He wore a gold mask through the whole audition process. I felt bad for him -- he seemed like he had a mental illness or something -- and I wish they wouldn't really make fun of people even though they are a bit strange.
