Have You Taken The Time?
Have you taken the time to call your parents lately just to see how they are? In todays' world, as we became adults, we lost track of what is important to us. We get focused on our own lives and forget those who raised us. Today, is my mothers birthday, she would have been 64 years old. She was a year old when the tragedy of Pearl Harbor struck the nation. She passed away almost 9 years ago, rather suddenly. I would do anything to just be able to tell her Happy Birthday, but I can't. So please take the time to call your parents,or whom ever is special to you, if you can, and just see how they are doing and tell them what they mean to you. You never know if today is the last chance that you have. Don't put it off until tomorrow, it may not come.

Women Drivers
Women Drivers (I Love This One) This morning on my commute to work, I looked over to my left and there was a WOMAN !! in a brand new Cadillac doing 65 mph with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner. A friend who knows my hobby is planting habanero chili plants sent me the following. Depression
Kinda feeling down lately..gets that way around this time. I have heard of many people who lose someone around this time..you would think we would all be depressed. Anyways..couple years ago my grandma who was also my best friend in life..died day after Christmas. Was hard to deal with. Now my uncle is down with pancreatic cancer. He just found out a month ago..and it seems to be bad right off the beginning. He isn't able to eat or drink..and has went from 140lbs to 125lbs. They been trying to get things arranged.. making him a no code..etc. Hes only 59. Well he was admitted to pallative care in the hospital 2 nites ago. Thats a room where they make you and your family comfortable while patient is dying. Not sure if other hospitals have a room like that or not. First time I ever really dealt with this kinda dying. Episode 77
Last night was a blast of a show. Only the third live show ever on the Hellcast Radio Network, we had a blast as my cohost was Nightshade last night. The rounds were flying cuz 15 mins into the show, we were all 100% buzzed, lol. The Emotes were discovered by Mamma Helle, and then the whole room got into the act. Nightshade and Mchgn started carrying the show to the gay side, and then you could tell the beer was flowing free. There were 6 in the chatroom and they all had a good time. Then, on cam, but not in the room, Strega was doing dirty deeds with sex toys for the hosts of the show. By the End, the hosts were smashed and then the religious wisdom came. Bourbon Brownie
Bourbon Brownie Ingredients: (Makes 9 portions) - 1/4 cup raisins - 1/6 cup bourbon - 1/6 cup Cinzano Rosso vermouth - 1/3 cup melted butter - 2 1/2 oz cocoa powder - 5 oz sugar - 1 tsp vanilla - 2 eggs - 2 1/2 oz all purpose flour - 1/2 tsp baking powder - 1/4 cup bitter chocolate, shopped into pea sized chunks Combine vermouth, bourbon, and the raisins and allow them to marinate for approximately 3 hours at room temperature. Grease an 8 x 8 baking pan, line with parchment paper, then grease again to ensure that the brownie doesn't stick to the pan. Preheat the oven to 325F. Place the cocoa powder into a mixing bowl and whisk the melted butter into it until smooth. Add the sugar and whisk it together. Add the eggs and the vanilla to the mixing bowl and whisk until incorporated. Fold in the flour and baking power into the mix with a spatula. Finally fold in the raisins and the chocolate chunks. Pour the batter into the lined and greased 8 x 8 pan and bake at 3

Good Fu-friends?
Okay time for me to go on a little rant. I consider myself to be a pretty good judge of character and always have lots of good friends in real life. I've made some good friends up here on fubar. Accident
So most of you have probably heard of my recent car accident! Well i have an issue i need some advise on .(Remind you this was my first accident) When i went to check on my car at the body repair place the manager gave me a verbal estimate of about $7-8K, although his is invalid since he is not an authorized pro-shop through All State insurance(her insurance) so they send one of their own adjusters out there who left half the shit out that needs to be fixed, as well as the amount. It went from $7-8K to $2400.00! I may be dumb to how this all works, but something sounds messed up to me. I don't want my car back and then a couple months down the road or a year from now a bunch of shit goes wrong with it. What can/should i do? As you all slept, I came up with a great idea. The implementation of "Voluntary Sterilization Centers." That's right folks! Cleaning up the gene pool will be a snap. All we have to do, is put this idea to work. Of course, the Voluntary Sterilization program will be just that. It won't be hard to sell this idea to the general public with the right media coverage, and corporate sponsorship for advertising. Centers will be set up around the country first in the poor, then middle class sections. All centers will be at least a block away from military recruitment centers to assure that there will be no conflict of interest. Missing Emily
Kinda funny, I got through thanksgiving(the whole family got together for the 1st time in awhile) fairly well despite the fact that there's apicture of Emily in any direction you look at my mom's. All the drinking probably helped(my other neice discovered vodka while she was in Poland this year). Even putting Emily's ornament on the tree didn't make me lose it too bad. i'm so effing pissed right now. So I was on Fubar yesterday chatting with some friends, checking out the latest MUMMS and stuff when I looked in My Bar Tab and noticed some guy rated me a 3. Well, i got a phone call last week from one of my brothers, telling me my other brother was in the hospital. its been wicked stressful worrying about him. he has cancer. and they gave me 6 months. he ad a surgery to remove it. Fubar In A Nutshell
Ok, so what is Fubar about and what does it mean to me? Here's what I gather IMO: It's a social networking site with many subtle little features to keep ya coming back over and over, possibly at the expense of ur sleep patterns, even ur job if ur clocking in with Fubar on the brain! Four Christmases
So, folks, just wanted to let y'all know that I saw the movie, "Four Christmases" earlier today, which stars Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon and its HILARIOUS and I would definetly recommend it but youll find that because it keeps ya laughing and makes ya want more, itll also seem really short in the hour and a half time frame that the movie takes up. Just Recovered From Power Outage
Just had a power outage come back on a few minutes ago trying to catch up with comments & messages. As I haven't been quite myself the past few days. The Monster In My Head
Last night I finally came face to face with the monster who has been tormenting my head, thoughts and dreams for oh so many months. The dream began like all the rest. As my eyes open to pure unpenetrable darkness, the smell of dampness fills my lungs and an unearthly chuckle fills my ears raising the hairs on my neck. Life Changed Last Night
Wow, I've always heard stories how your life could change in an instant. Well, for me it did...I don't know if anyone knows my situation...but last night, after my work was done. I am a divorced mother of a seven year old boy. The area I live in used to thrive on the steel industry, until foreign steel took over the market. This area now depends on a a single industry-the auto industry. It has since the late 60's. Every company in this area depends on this one factory for their revenue. We have about 5,000 workers in the plant alone (for now) and probably another 5-10,000 jobs that rely directly on this plant. If the US auto industry is left to fall, it would mean the demise of this entire area. Retail, food service and healthcare jobs will still be there, but greatly decreased due to the lack of money to be spent in the area. My ex husband is what we call at the plant "a load."
