Little Old Ladies
I love and respect my elders. I really do. I try to remember that these are the people who have helped me to be who I am today. But today lil old ladies have been pissing me off. I went to pick up my sleeping pills and a lil old lady had to chat up the pharmacist about shit that didn't need to be talked about. And I patentiently waited cause you know shes old. I went to Shopko and another lil old lady was in the line in front of me and had a shopping cart behind her (it was empty) and it was hers and she just left it in front of the checkout stand and I had to push it out of the way for her. I was like what the fuck!!! You push the cart all the way around the store and leave it in the way of other shoppers...what the fuck. So lil old ladies stay out of my way for the rest of the day please.

So....I had a best friend who was a female. Been friends with her since 2002. People always thought something was going on between us. Never once did I make a pass at her. Our Ladies
As men we tend to overlook our ladies. Not just in the usual way for not telling them that we love them. If you are married, this means she put you before everyone, for the rest of her life. Not only do they give birth to our children. They remember birthdays, run homes, work themselves, at times are nurses for us and our children. They're a lot of ways of showing them they we do appreciate them, a lot are small too. Well at least small to us, but important to them. Some examples are. 1). Open and close doors for them, surprise them call them from work just to remind them how wonderful they are. 2). Send them presents to their work, flowers, candy, stuffed animal, something. 3). There is a hacker running lose on fubar ( I know that I am not the first to post a bully just like this one, Carebear posted one this weekend one this same subject), takin control of unsuspecting peoples' accounts, only to use them to send out a virus link disguised as a YOuTUBE link. Do *NOT* click on the link sent to you... you can verify that these are false links, by right clicking on the links and getting the true links that they are hoping that they catch you off guard and get you to click on their false links and wipe you out!! I am posting these screenshots of the following four emails that I have received since Monday, 2/02/09 and the 2nd & 3rd screenshots back up the fact that the users' accounts' were hacked. Samuel Adams Shrimp
Ingredients: - 2 pounds of Shrimp - 1 Green Bell pepper - 1 Orange bell pepper - 1 Yellow bell pepper - 2 Roma Tomatoes - 1/2 of a big Onion - 8oz of Mushrooms - 1 bottle of Samuel Adams (Boston Ale) - Salt - Medley Peppercorn - Butter - Olive Oil Take off the shell of the Shrimp and take off the puppy of the shrimp out!!! Wash shrimp well.. Put olive Oil and Butter to melt in a Medium High Heat let butter melt.. Cut Bell pepper (all of them) in strips same as the Roma Tomatoes, wait till shrimp is nicely Cook and red!Give it about 20 min let the olive oil and butter consume down add Onions and mushrooms 1st then the peppers and for last the Tomatoes.. let them get caramelize (get Golden) when this is done add the Samuel Adams and let it cook for 5 mins and is done Have some rice and Broccoli for side and you have a nice dinner!!! Crazy Scary Day
Today was just unbelievable.... Earlier today, my husband and I went to visit his grandma, Shirley, to see how she was doing and to take her to the grocery store for some groceries. So we go to the store, do our shopping and all. We get down to the cereal aisle and she said she was starting to feel like she was going to pass out. She started leaning towards one of the food shelves and slowly started falling down. Caught her before she fell down and rested her on the floor asking if she was ok. One of the reasons is to take a Tai Chi class on Sunday mornings. The class is given by this little 85 year old lady who was a student of Chen Man Cheng in the early 70's. We cannot get to our old teacher, Ed Young, because he only teaches on Monday night and that is impossible. So we go to his old friend, Maggie Newman. Her style is a bit different from his but just as effective. We do enjoy her classes. She was the one that I heard the title of this blog from. She speaks very softly so her class of about 20 people was gathered close around her. She was talking about a specific aspect of the Tai Chi form when something reminded her of a story

Yesterday I was buying a 2 large bags of Purina dog chow at Walmart, for my dogs. I was about to check out when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think, that I had an elephant? Since I had little else to do, on impulse, I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, and that I was starting the Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time. A family is missing from their Altadena home, and sheriff's deputies are asking for your help to find them. An AMBER Alert has been issued after a mother and her two sons disappeared in the family's minivan. They were last seen around 3:00 p.m. Thursday. WHO AM I????? OK...Hope I don't bore you. My name is Amanda, but I have a lots of nicnames. People have called me "Sunshine" since I was a kid...but as I got older, it kind of morphed to "funshine". Cholesterol Addiction
People have vices. Some take drugs, some drink, some indulge in other forms of debauchery. One of my major vices is an addiction to cholesterol. No matter how hard I try I can't stay away from unhealthy food. Before I started working I was able to eat whatever I wanted with impunity. I played a couple of hours of badminton every day, attended 3 or 4 kung fu classes a week and walked everywhere. Different situation now. No time for physical activity and junk food has become an easy source of recreation. But I think its time to do something about it now. Anyone else had this problem? Any advice?

How Many
I cant remember how many days or times i have cut my skin and hurt myself but for the first time i can remember something in life. I remember two things how many days i havent cut myself (1) and how it was the best feeling in the world. Its Got Its Times..
Enjoying a day like today where its around 60 and the sun is out is pretty easy. Even with my mild tastes of depression and being around negativity I felt pretty good. BAKLAVA 1 lb. phyllo - strudel leaves, purchased frozen usually, defrost per pkg. directions 1 1/4 lb. light walnut pieces, ground 1/4 c. sugar, add to ground walnuts Dash cinnamon, add to ground walnuts 1/2 lb. unsalted butter, melted With a pastry brush or new 1 inch paint brush, grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan with melted butter. Place 5 sheets of phyllo (folded in half usually fits perfectly) in pan, buttering each. Sprinkle top evenly with about 1/2 cup of the walnut mixture. Add another sheet of phyllo, brush with melted butter and top with 1/2 cup of walnut mixture until all of the nut mixture and almost all of the phyllo is used. End with 6 sheets of phyllo, buttering each except top. Cut Baklava into diamonds by first cutting lengthwise (six columns works well) and then diagonally. Use a very sharp knife. Pour remaining butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown. While the baklava is baking, make the syrup. SYRUP: 1 c. sugar 1 c. h

SPANAKOPITA 2 lb. fresh spinach, finely chopped 3 bunches spring onions 4 tbsp. butter 6 eggs, slightly beaten 1 lb. feta cheese, crumbled 1/4 lb. butter, melted 1 tbsp. dry mint Salt & pepper to taste 1/2 lb. butter for filo 20 sheets filo pastry Wash spinach thoroughly, chop fine and let drain for several hours. It is very important that spinach be left to drain completely. Saute onions in the 4 tablespoons butter. Mix beaten eggs with feta cheese, melted butter and mint. Add onions, salt and pepper. Line a 15 x 11 x 2 inch greased pan with half of filo sheets, brushing with melted butter (each sheet). Continue this until 1/2 of filo has been used. Place cheese and spinach mixture over the filo and then cover with remaining half of sheets, brushing with melted butter again. Roll and tuck all the filo around the inside edges of pan. Lightly score top of spanakopita into squares and bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.

That Extra Wheel
I've always been the extra wheel when it came to hanging out with the people I do now. It's normally tolerable, but tonight it just wasn't working. Well I am writing this blog out of sheer anger and hurt and frustration. The people that say they love you are always the ones that hurt you the most. They leave you reeling with confusion and pain you dont understand or know what to do with. The person that has done this to me knows who he is and has forthwith been removed from my life forever. I hope he realises the mistake that he has made someday. I wish him the best in life and achieving his dream but his future will never include me in any way shape or form now. Awake And Dreaming
For some reason, I never dream while I'm sleeping, as in, I don't dream in the middle of the night. Usually, I dream in the morning. Often, it's just when I am supposed to be getting out of bed. I have not been feeling good the past few months.. since Oct time... cold after cold.. sinuses issues.. broncitus..etc. They took me in and run alot of tests on me.. seems my immune system is down majorly. They found out i havent had a few regular tests done while i was there and had me do them as well. Well my test results came back.. and it seems i have ovarian cancer. I am a single mom of 3 kids... not sure how this is gonna work out.. they says they caught it early.. but it is in gods hands i guess. They put me on strong meds to boost my immune system... at the end of the month i go for a hysterectomy.. and then a few rounds of chemo... they hope thats all it takes.. as do i.

My Life In A Nutshell
so one of my last blogs was unmarried and no kids at the age of 23. Well I am not 24 with a 10 week old baby girl whom I love more deeply than i could ever imagine.
