Well, meh. I'm retaking my ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) on Tuesday. I'm hoping (it is pretty much a sealed deal) that I'll qualify to be an MP (Military Police). My goal is to go through BCT (basic combat training), AIT (advanced individual training-trains you for your job) and then go through Ranger school. Once I graduate Ranger school, I go to work for and report _directly_and_only_ to a General. :D I'm going to be shipping out to BCT within 50 days. My contract and paperwork shouldn't take more than 20 days to process, and I need to ship out within 30 days of signing my contract if I wish to qualify for the quick ship bonus. Its funny, when we are young we never think of how we will look, what we will have , or our health for that matter. I am going to have a baby, and it's a boy. His name will be Drake. As you all know..I went to the Hosipital about two weeks ago...the doctor's said what happened to me..they knew it was going to happen, but they didn't know when. I'm having complacations with my pregnancy. As of right now, I am fine, but some nights will be hard on me. Some night I will be totally fine, and others I will be going trough hell! I don't need much comfort, all you have to do it be there for me. What is going on right now, I have to be careful of what I do. The soft orange glow of candlelight speckled and flickered in all directions. Gorgeous bouquets of roses and lilies and lilacs cascaded from every nook and shelf. The crystalline decor was placed to create such gorgeous reflections and refractions and spectrums of light. Silk draped from every surface so perfectly that the objects of the room were negligible. She was consumed such a splendid and ethereal creation that she could scarcely fathom how this could be accomplished without even the slightest bother to her delicate slumber. Last night I had a dream about how I was told I couldn't have the surgery and then I commite suicide because I ran out of hope. then today I get a call from my doctor about my surgery, he said he is glad I lost 6 pounds but he is changing my date anyway, they don't think I'll lose enough weight by then for them to do the surgery, and they change the mount that I need to lose. So now they want me to have surgery in Jan. so they have no faith that I couldn't stand to get by thanksgiving and Christmas, and any thing I'm worried about that I tell the dietions they twist my words around and tell the doctor and so it sound worse then it is. so basically I can't trust them anymore, also they don't seem to understand I'm on my dad's insurance right now and my dad can't keep me on there for too much longer because I'm not in school, and they keep putting it off. We were camping in Atascadero. The campsites were well separated and lots and lots of big tall trees. There was even a little creek. It was just him and I, lots of wine and some good food. Athens Chicken With Greek Salsa
Ingredients: * 2/3 cup flour * 1 teaspoon salt * 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano * 6 chicken breasts, boneless & skinless * 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup * 1/2 cup white wine (water or chicken broth may be substituted) * 1/2 cup tomato, chopped * 1/2 cup cucumber, chopped * 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar * 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted & chopped 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled Method Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Coat chicken in mixture and place chicken into a slow cooker. In a separate medium bowl, combine soup (undiluted) and wine. Pour over chicken in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until chicken is completely cooked. Well I'm starting my third day at home and I must say it feels a little odd. I'm loving being with my roomies again. I'm thinking about going out exploring again before I head back to Charlotte. At Home Pc Crashed
Well my Friends. I got out of the hospital Sat. at Noon. I go Wed. to have the 13 staples out. I am not well today. I have not been able to sit for more than an hour. At It Again
I don't have my truck anymore, so I either walk or take the bus. Not that I liked driving all that much anyway. However, with me now having to look out side of my little "bubble world" for work not having my own truck makes it harder. I know it sounds like I am whining, but I'm not really, okay maybe a little. See the public transportation, aka bus, does not go in a lot of the areas that I could find a job in, which never made sense to me in the first place even when I had my truck. Believe it or not people do actually live and work outside of the downtown area! I guess the route makers don't realize that. I can see it would be hard to have buses go down every street, but come on have them go further and make straighter shots to places than they do! If I could I would go back to school, although with me I'd have to start all over again. I've got a bad memory, must be from all that brain damage I got from growing up with brothers.

At It Again.
So many years have passed since I threw a line into the water. Found myself standing over the water at Bass lake remembering back when I was younger. My grandfather used to take me fishing nearly every weekend. He loved fishing, taught me to love it as well. There's some kind of serenity that comes with it, a peace. We've fished in lakes and rivers spanning from southern California to northern Oregon. I eagerly awaited the summer when school was released for vacation so I could hit the road with him. We lived outdoors. Camping, fishing, hiking, taking in the beauty that is nature, Eating your meals over an open fire, there's nothing to top it. Those memories will never leave me. So i'm taking up fishing again, a resurrected hobby for me, in honor of my grandfather. The fish aren't biting today though....

Not drunk but still venomous I still let myself get dragged into bashing someone again... I'm not proud of this but feel I do have a right to be angry. I got off the bus in Gainesville GA. It was raining. Walked to the city park and camped out in the backwoods near the lake. The next day it rained till about noon. Then I packed up camp and started towards Amicoala State Park. I kept running into dead ends trying to get across the lake. Stopped at a gas station and grabbed a soda and this guy in a truck pulled up and asks me where I am headed too. I tell him I am headed to Amicoala State park but can't seem to get passed this lake. He says well I can give you a ride up to hwy 400 which will get you passed the lake. I said that would be much appreciated. He dropped me off at a gas station on hwy 400. By then it was getting late about 4 or 5 pm. So I went across hwy 400 into some wooded area and set up camp for the night. I got up the next morning packed up camp and headed down hwy 400. Sign said Clyde Smith Shelter 3.3 miles N. 3.3 miles my ASS. Don't know where they get their mileage from but it has been screwed up since Springer. People say it is the pack weight but I disagree. It is the 45 degree up climb on a mtn for several thousand feet that is the problem. I can carry my pack all day long if I am not going up and down mtns. all the time. Even without my pack I get winded climbing up a mtn. after getting water from a spring. Oh well just slam some more honey or a couple of snickers and go back at it. Lost the trail on Dragons tooth went 1/4 mile straight down mtn no white blazes so climbed back up oh did I tell you it started raining as well so now everything is slick. Found the trail again yeah it went down a sheer rock cliff. They had a few foot steps on the side of some rocks. I came close to visiting Valhalla today as well. I took a tumble down the cliffs. Wish they would have said something about rock climbing gear. Cause that just stupid climbing down a sheer cliff in the rain with a loaded pack and no climbing gear. Surprised I didn't break something or get severely injured. I am definitely going to put some rock climbing gear in my pack next trip. That was just plain stupid. Then my tent pole snapped again this morning had to fix that. Walk about 1 1/2 mile round trip to delps spring to find it dry as a bone and it rained last night. Bonus miles I will have done when I get to Maine: 200. With water sources 1/2 mile from trail, town for resupply, and me just being a plain dumbass and losing the AT a gazillion times. All which are not counted nor is the 8.8 mile access trail to Springer Mtn. Everything is getting tore up on the trail. 1. Vestibule zipper went out. 2. Tent poles snaps 3 times. 3. Shoulder straps on pack break. 4. Brand new pair of boots I got right before pa are basically wasted on one state. 5. zipper on sleeping bag compartment broke. 6. Headlight doesn't work anymore. As far as me goes everything seems to be working as of now. No bruised muscles or anything just the sore feet from walking on rocks all the time and sore shoulders from wearing my pack all the time. Peregrine caught up with me at rph shelter yesterday as well. His test results came back negative for lyme disease which is good news. Met someone at rph shelter that is more frugal then I am on the trail. Made it two the fire wardens cabin which was one hell of a climb. Way past bumfuck and the back 40 wasn’t even on the map anymore. Went from 880’ 3,230’ in 4 miles. A couple of girls showed up and gave me a brand new package of like 12 flour tortillas, new package of 4 pita bread the flat circular kind and a nice big bag of trail mix that has Oreos, goldfish, pretzels, raisins, cheerios, and some other stuff in it. Got the cabin all to myself tonight J J. No one wants to spend the night with me which is a blessing sometimes J J. Only 400 miles to go. 14 mile day set up camp at campsite right after fording south branch carrabassett river which is the third river I had to ford in Maine. Rule for fording rivers: face into the current and lean forward. Saw two full grown moose today ran across trail about 50 ft. in front of me. Due to the current condition of my back and a new injury to my right shoulder I am unable to travel to Atlanta this weekend for the fetish flea market.I'm very disappointed and heart broken that I am now going to be unable to attend as I was so very much looking forward to it. Atlas Castings Update.
It turns out that only four people were injured in yesterday's explosion. The driver of the propane truck being the worst off. He ended up tossed 600 ft. and badly burned by the initial blast. One of the other injured was my buddy Big Chuck the Maintanance Leadman. He suffered third degree burns to his face and chest. There were two others who suffered minor injuries to the legs caused by flying debris. The facility itself suffered minor structural damge, the back wall of the heat-treat building was blown out and several holes were blasted in the roof of the Burn and Arc center. Flying debris caused minor damage to other nearby buildings and put hole in the roofs of several other Atlas structures. The concussion from the blast took the windows out of many of the local businesses and buckled a few garage doors on local homes. I will conclude by saying that I am greatful to the powers that be that no one was killed and that those injured are expected to recover with minimal complications
