Minutes coming at me, flying fast and true.
No time, any time, just to think things through.
Hours flying faster, gone in just a blink.
Gone before I can adjust or even start to think.

Days go by, I'm so alone, no one to see me cry.

From frisky teen to young adult, it happened oh so fast.
From mom of four little ones, now all in the past.
I shake my head, I click my teeth, I close my eyes and sigh.
I think that all I have left to me is just to say goodbye.
