Why Are So Many People On Here Such Fuckers?
I'm a nice person. I try to rate everyone who rates me...I never rate people below a 10... but so many people on her just like to be mean. They are filled with such hate and spew negative remarks and comments to people they don't even know. MUMMs shouldn't be used as a place to be aggressive. If the MUMM is about something you don't want to comment on, or want people to know your opinion on, just move on. There is no need to attack the person who posted it. That just shows childish behavior and isn't necessary. It isn't necessary for you to call them names if you dont know them. If someone doesn't want to view your NSFW photos, don't get mad and call them names. Likewise if someone doesn't have any NSFW photos, don't attack them and say they are prudes... that may not be the case at all. For some reason we think that coming to a conclusion on what a situation is, to be a bad thing. My First Blog!
So this is my very first fu-blog ladies and gentlemen! I think I am going to try and start posting blogs every few days and ramble on about my silly life. Sometimes these blogs can be therapeutic so thats what I am hoping for. Just to get you up to speed I've been going through quite a bit this past year. Now I'm not whining and complaining, I know everyone has their problems. I just want to talk about it, to get it off my chest for a few minutes ya know? So here goes... In January I lost my dad, he was my best friend. One of the hardest things I've been through yet. I seperated from my husband in June, after finding out his entire family is completly horrible to him, I honestly believe they are going to keep going until they kill him. I've had 3 major surgeries so far, which have not been fun... 10 Years Ago
10 Years ago I missed being in the tragedy of 9-11 by 1 day, i was visiting my parents in PA and flew back home to FL on 9-10-01. I am thankful that my son who was only 9 months old at the time and I were home safe when I saw the events unfolding on tv. I thank god everyday for my son being alive. Sadly this was not true for so many men and women inside the buildings in NY and The Pentagon as well as in the air in PA. So many lives changed that day police, firefighters, every day people. So many people gave their lives to help save others. Today is a day of reflection of what could have been and what was. Everyone needs to show support for all of those who were affected by that day. and remember to be thankful to whom every you worship that you are still alive and with your family. Be glad you have your loved ones and parents. becasue so many lost husbands, wives, children and parents that day.

Motion Picture Meanderings
I've again fallen behind on my cinematic reviews. But to recap my late summer viewings, I enjoyed "Captain America" and "Cowboys and Aliens" more than I expected, more than what others should've anticipated. I joined the growing chorus of individuals who see "Captain America" as the best comic book film adaptation this year, not some gaudy, action-bloated romp. Plus it provides a fun link (along with the end credits trailer) to next year's release of "The Avengers." "Cowboys and Aliens," meanwhile was a thrilling adaptation of the graphic novel -- a risky hybrid that understandably could turn off a variety of Western fans and sci-fi geeks. But the movie somehow works. It's disappointing yet not shocking it didn't get bigger box office returns. A Thought About 9-11
I was working in North Bergen NJ at the time...for Liz Claiborne. Normally I'd take Route 3 to work but I decided to take route 80 (as I figured less traffic and I'm always a few minutes late to work...much to my bosses chargrin). Every generation has its defining moments. A moment in time that everyone within that generation will remember for the rest of their lives. Many people can tell you where they were for these defining moments of their generation. The exact thing they were doing when news came down to them of the events unfolding. Today is obviously September 11th, but it is also the first full day of the NFL season. Some people, many people, will tell me that it's stupid to combine the two in any sort of comparison or celebration. But looking back 10 years to that horrible day and how life would begin to change forever - the NFL is the perfect stage to combine with the 10th anniversary of that event. Remembering 9/11- The Tenth Anniversary
Everybody with a little age on them remembers September 11, 2001. It is etched in our memories and should be forever. It is a part of our history like the day the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor or the day Oswald shot JFK. You will always be able to remember what you were doing when you first heard the news. I remember 9/11 very well. It started like any other day. Then I heard the news of a plane hitting one of the Twin Towers. I turned on the television. I watched the smoke rolling from the top of the building and was dumb-struck as I saw a second plane hit the other building, the explosion going through out the majestic giant. I realized that, while the first collision may have been an accident, the second could only be an attack. I thought of the people trapped in the upper stories of those buildings. I remember seeing the brave men and women of the NYPD and FDNY running toward the buildings, even as everyone else was running away from them. I felt a deep loss as the buildings f

Moonshine And Sand
I was in Ecuador and there was a warning posted in the airport that people should boil or treat their water before drinking it. The warning was in Spanish and I don't speak Spanish, but my travel companion noticed and told me. Later in the trip we stopped at a farm that grows sugarcane and coffee. The farmer had a small still that he would used to make sugarcane moonshine. For some reason we were talking about the water boil notice, and the guy at the still told me that if I got a stomach bug all I had to do to cure it was to drink a cup of his moonshine and then eat a spoonful of sand. I questioned how this could possibly work, and he told me that the microbes in your stomach all get drunk off the moonshine and then throw rocks at each other.

9/11/01
September 11th 2001 was a sad day indeed. On the anniversary of this tragic day, my thoughts are not with the American troops currently serving in hostile territory overseas...even though my oldest nephew is among the U.S. Marines currently in Afghanistan. My thoughts go to the people who lost their lives. My thoughts are with the families left behind. My thoughts are with those who risked, and in many cases gave, their lives that day so that someone else may live. I don't view 9/11 as a day America suffered. I view it as a day that all of humanity suffered a great loss. It wasn't just Americans who died that day. It wasn't just American children who lost a mother and/or father. Most anyone with a heart felt the pain as we watched the footage of that tragic day. Most of us felt the loss as more broken and lifeless bodies were pulled from the rubble. 911 What I Was Doing On That Day

Woke up this morning and turned on the radio which music is a great part of my life always there for me when nothing or no one else is there. And the great Hot 98.1 has been doing Tributes all day and has made me cry all day. Actually crying writing this but just need to vent somehow. Here is a brief update on my current situation: I just started my last semester as an undergrad! Updates From The Altercation With The Animal Shelter
Well, as you should know if you pay ANY attention, I did get my dog back. I also had myself a slight altercation (just verbal) with the idiots who run the animal shelter in Jefferson Parish, as I would not allow them to alter my dog. I, being the kind of person that presses issues until they are resolved, contacted the local parish president, and the district attorney's office to file a complaint. I explained the situation to her, as well as the conditions as they exist in the neighborhood. Out here, well, we have crime. Kids and burglars will release animals from yards on purpose, steal, or poison them just to be able to break in the house later. This is a recurring problem, and those of us who take the precautions to be able to recover our animals if those things happen are the ones that get punished by the Parish's laws. She's Back In The Hospital
Since the last gall bladder scare she's been on the patch trying to quit smoking. Eating healthier and generally taking better care of herself. Today, She went to see a surgeon about her options and they thought they would go with a scope-type operation to remove her gall bladder. Possibly early next week. They were happy with her non smoking and diet keeping. The doc did tell her that it isn't always a fatty or fried food that can bring on an episode. It can be as simple as a piece of lettuce... So my dog went missing Saturday. She wasn't called in until Sunday. The lady that had her "restrained" called because she tried to eat her cat. She also insisted that her collar (which had my address written in the inside of it) was hers, and she needed to take it off of her before she would let animal control take her. She is also pure bred, and microchipped. The lady that collected her claimed to have scanned her, but found none. The shelter decided that they could hold my dog (which was TAKEN out of my yard) hostage until I paid them 121 dollars to retrieve her. They gave her shots (which she had already been given on July 22nd, and if they had properly scanned her microchip, would have gotten all that information before giving her more), and another rabies vaccination (which was fine, because she was due in 2 weeks anyway). Tales From The Pool
Over the past month, I have been taking advantage of the pool at my complex to get my exercise in. I think swimming is a great way to go, I can do cardio and strength training while being out doors and working on my color at the same time. I was going six days a week, for about an hour and a half every day. I'd alternate between the breast stroke and the crawl, and considering my pool isnt very big, I could do a complete lap up and back in 45-30 seconds respectively. 7 Long Years

Well as I noted on my last blog, I do suffer from nerve damage around my spinal cord. Unfortunately when a piece of my spine moved out of place it was actually pinching my spinal cord almost in half & this was not detected for over a year. I do live in constant severe pain all day everyday! I'm on several medications for the pain, the damaged nerves, & the not sleeping. I'm not able to work due to my medical condition. I am a single mother of 2 boys. It has been told to me that in a few years I could end up in a wheel chair. I do my best to handle one day at a time. I try to make the best out of my life. I do everything I can for my kids whether the pain is severe or not at the time. My kids come first!!!!! I would like to level up. I've been on this level for quite some now.
