2011 Resolutions
I am a little behind on doing this and am truly uncertain if I am doing it correctly... But, here goes nothing.    My 2011 New Year's Resolution was to bring both my businesses (West Coast Supply and Nick's Mixed Drinks) up off the ground. So far, I have succeeded in both businesses enough to believe that I have reached my goal and am still going strong.

for those of you who dont know, Joplin Missouri was almost totally destroyed by an EF-5 tornado on May 22nd this year. Off In The Distance
So now I'm drifting alone in the water. I feel so helpless, so depressed. There is no one for miles, so if I screamed no one would hear me. So whats a girl to do? I look out in the distance and could have sworn I saw my precious boat, but I didnt want to be to hasty. So I try to swim over.  I start to inch closer and closer, not wanting to push my pretty baby away with the waves I was making from the water. As I get right up on it I soon realize that this isnt my boat at all. It has the same frame but something just isnt right about it. My boat just felt so right when we were together, but now we are no longer in sync.  So now I'm floating wondering do I take this boat and try to enjoy the rest of the voyage or do I try to make it on my own.

All righty then. Here's the deal.Lately, I've been despairing of my life. Watched this on AMC today ... of course they took out some of the more graphic parts. But the movie still holds up. This is absolutely one of the best horror movies. If you are just starting to watch horror or if you haven't watched it, please do. It freaks me out every time. It's beautifully shot, the "omg, I can't believe it" moments stand true even after several viewings. And the simplistic ending that isn't grandized, but just is. I love it. True, I think there are more than a few parts that are hard to watch, especially when you know they are coming. But I just can't say enough. This is on my top ten - oh yeah.

Getting Away...
So yesterday the group at TR all went to the Louisville Zoo; we had such a good time! Everyone was in good spirits, the trip up was quick and the zoo was AMAZING..I had never been before so I was excited to see all I could, we had only a couple of hours but it was so nice, decor was for halloween, they have safe treating during october and all sorts of games and activities. I even went in the snake house, I am petrified of them but there were so many and at a safe distance, all behind glass so it wasnt bad at all. The albino alligator was very nice, orangatangs were funny..LOL. Many of the animals were not out cause it was so chilly but I hope to go back when the weather is warmer so I can see them all.. I also rode the carosel so beautiful.

I'm trying to think of what I am going to write for Nanowrimo. This will be my first year of participating even though I have known about this for years. So much has happened I'm not sure where to start. David went to his Gi dr on august 8th. He is taking culinary arts this year and is doing very well with it so far. They baked bread for class and they judged it and he got 2nd at school. He got to go to the state fair with it and got 1st place. We are still waiting for him to get his prize money he is supposed to be getting.   Oh yea before i forget. We still need lots of prayers..We have a niece that has skin cancer. She is only about 22 years old. She has two small children of her own. the youngest is 1 and the oldest is around 2. Thursday Oct 19
Today she looked very good. She was talking like normal, although still weak on her right side. Had an MRI last night and all looked good. She went for an EEG this morning and thats when she had a major seizure. It was so bad her heart stopped for a moment. The neurologist and his staff came and told me as soon as they could, and told me she was going to be in CCU for a bit then mover her back up to the unit into the acute stroke unit. They are putting her on full blown seizure med now by IV, not little by little like they were hoping they could do.. She is going to be in for a long time now.

Ashley I Am So Sorry . . .
I put this as NSFW since it has swears and could be offensive.   My friend Ashley had a miscarage today, and looked to me fo support. All my friends know I don't BS, I get to the point direct and harsh, and sometimes they know that's what they need to hear. While other people were telling her that "God" has a plan for every thing I set her straight, Fuck God, Fuck religion, if there was a God and she takes babies as part of her plan, i want to know what the fuck this plan is. I am so sick of people looking to God as a reason for what happens in life. She was a little shocked at what I said, but then she saw where I was coming from. She cried a little, then she smiled and said she would try again, and I told her, you fall off the horse, pick yourself up and get back on again.

I Laugh At Pain Like This Ha Ha Ha!
I'm a little sore after my workout sometimes, I try to push it as hard as I can.  Though I may be a bit achey and my muscles are tight, I refuse to take an asprin or an ibruprofen and here's why:  I earned this pain.   I'm not going to let some pill take it away from me.  It's the reminder that I did the work, the muscles that I get later are the reward.  So what if I hurt the next day, if its the day after that even better.  I earned the pain, and I'm going to keep it.   If it goes away, well tomorrow is another day that I can push myself even more.

The Truth I Think I Remember
No matter how much I write down, no matter how much I keep record of, I miss something. Sometimes it's something important, but more often than not since I can't recall a specific instance (and that's what "memory loss" is, really -- loss of your ability to recall someone or something rather than loss of memory) it's not life-changing. But I noticed as I posted on Saturday I'd forgotten to mention quite a few things important to me! The Latest About My Sister
FOR EVERYONE THAT HAS BEEN SO KIND AND CHECKS UP TO SEE HOW MY SISTER IS DOING, HERE'S THE LATEST AND I WILL TRY TO KEEP IT BRIEF. THIS WAS HER 2ND FIGHT WITH BREAST CANCER AND SHE WILL DO HER LAST TREATMENT IN A FEW WEEKS. WE HAVE LEARNED THAT THE ORIGINAL CHEMO DID MORE HARM THAN GOOD. WE HAVE ALSO LEARNED THAT THE TYPE OF CANCER SHE HAS, BECAUSE SHE HAS GOTTEN IT TWICE UNDER THE AGE OF 50.. SHE WILL GET IT AGAIN.  I AM A VERY PRIVATE PERSON AS IT IS AND THIS ONLY MAKES ME WANT TO KEEP MY CIRCLE OF FRIENDS AS LIMITED AS CAN BE. SO IF I AM NOT A VERY OPEN AND NOT A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY WITH ALL, THIS WOULD BE WHY. I AM SORRY IF THIS SEEMS COLD, BUT MY SISTER IS MY MAIN CONCERN.

Quick How To
Some people seem to have a lot of trouble getting the 1000 likes at level 50.  Since I had a fairly easy time of it, I will tell you the simple formula I followed. 1.  Buy 1 day blast with 10 million fubucks 2. Make 5 global mumms spaced out about 2 to 3 hours each (do not make it NSFW and you're much better off if you leave out anything that actually has to do with fubar because they may judge it to be self-promoting and ban you from mumms) 3. Find everyone you can who is online, rate and like them and comment their profile (NOT STATUS) and ask them to click your like. 4. Update your status frequently.  Each time you update, it's like a miniature pimp out because it pops up in the bar tab. :)    If you can get your friends to help you by pimping you out or asking their friends to like you, that is also a HUGE help.
