I never watched the movie because I was one of those people really hit by it not because I lost anyone in my family that day but because the world lost a lot of its people. I guess they were able to grab enough information to make the movie so it seem really real like this is what happen. People calling family memebers to say they loved them. They found out the bomb was fake. They killed two of the bad guys before they broke down the door to the pit I guess what they say is that the bad guy had the plane up side down at one point and by the time the good guys could get to it. It hit the ground and maybe it was on purpose so that it would not get to its location to destory another one of our buildings of America. A Friend's Passing
Hi all, I have just learned of our dear friend and family member James Graham, also known as Junior, passed away this weekend. He was suffering from emphysema, had been on oxygen full time and had just suffered a mild heart attack last month. He was 78 at his passing. He was more then a friend, he was also a father, and grandfather to all of us. He was there for both of our son's births and had helped us move multiple times over the years. He and Darryl would go fishing, and drinking together, as a guys night out. He will be truly missed. Sleepless

An Easy Way To Make Your Own Wand

While sitting with my father earlier today at his house the news came on tv. Most of it was bland news crap, as usual, but then appeared a man discussing the possibility of passing a law to allow people with licenses to carry concealed weapons to carry guns into schools, even elementary schools. He then went on to say that he feels that allowing this law to pass could prevent another event like Virginia Tech. He feels that if a teacher would have had access to a weapon it could have been stopped. Well where to start on this. A Good Dog Story
I have a Labrador retriever. I was buying a large bag of Purina at Wal-Mart and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog? (DUH!) ok so now i'm a hero?... today at work i rescued a girl whom had just given blood from passing out in her school lunch room... i recognized the tell tell signs and sat her down with her legs and arms tight to the table.. i then went back to the blood drive and got the wheel chair to takie her back to the recovery area... upon re-entering the lunch room... for my own lunch break i was approached by a teacher... Today's Funeral
Just got home from a funeral. Things like that make you really think about life... where you are, where you are heading, where you have been. So as I sat up in the choir loft, I looked at a lot of faces, listened to a lot of memories, a thought a lot. Max was an old guy, a member of our church. At least thats how I started off thinking of things. He died from leukemia, after being diagnosed only 6 weeks ago. His wife died from it as well several years ago. My Dad took part on the service. Dad was minister at that church his entire career, all 39 years. Its not a big church. Couldn't be. The whole town is smaller than most "new home" communities. I started thinking, Max wasn't just a member of the church. While I wasn't as close to him and his family as when I was growing up, our family had a lot of ties. His one daughter was my babysitter. Today I chaperoned my sons trip to Junior Achievers Enterprise. Its a hands on learning experience that the 5th graders were invited to attend. Bad Day
You know you have had a bad day when you are calling off for the next day before you even leave.... Won't bore you with gory detail.. suffice it to say.. my day started off bad.. 3rd shift not able to get the truck put up.. coffee bar guy on vacation and no one to replace him.. and ended worse.. being laughed at by employees.. so I called off and for only the second time in 3 years I did not get someone to cover my shift.. I did give 17hrs notice though.. the only other time I did not get someone to cover my shift(s) was when my grandmother died.. And the topper to a perfect day.. when my boss called me back (lft her vm abt calling in) when she asked me about it and I told her yes I was not coming in and no I did not have coverage for it.. she hung up!

Update On Life
All, Sorry for being gone for so long. Lots of things offline to sort out. Many hard decisions had to be made, and I made them. So the last two months have been filled with gut-wrenching pain...gotta love it. But all for the best. I met, became best friends with, and fell in love with one of the most amazing women in the world. But I realized how selfish I was being to everyone, and I had to break things off. Thankfully, I was able to repair a lot of the damage I did back home. My wife and I got back together, and are starting over. Things are going very well. I saw the petition to remove this feature. I for one disagree that it is a bad thing. When I first saw it, I thought WTF? Maria is finely in the step down unit, which is one step closer to home. So know the Nurses are going to work with me and Ray to learn how to take care of her when she goes home. They been teaching us how to feed her a bottle, of course she took a whole bottle for her Daddy, they also have been showing us how feed her with the NG tube. Maria has been doing really good, she been taking the bottles really well. Finally Here
I finally made it to texas got here with one stop in highland california so the kids could see there family on there dads side for a week and it was a week to long. I got to Texas yesturday 6am which on the time i'm use to was 4am so i pertty much slept most of the day. I was told that it was more on the Human Resources/Operations side when I did my phone interview #2 I told them that I didn't realize it was a sales position and that i didn't have as much experience in sales. Then the guy said "but you seem very outgoing and smart. I think you would easily transition into this position." I don't want to do sales! #3 When he asked if I had questions for him I fired away. I know. I haven't been on much in quite some time. Part of it is I am just not as interested in staying logged into CT. Not sure why. My livejournal seems to have more of my interest lately. It's Been A Week.
First things first, I'd like to thank Sinister Sainthood. That is my brothers paintball team. First off I am very proud of my brother. His dream for over the past decade was to break into the paintball industry, this Saturday he opened Gateway Action Sports. His very own paintball field. As I said, I'm very proud of it, and the field looks great. I went out there to take some pictures for him, and when he found out that my finger was itching to get behind a gun again his team jumped on the opportunity to see what one of the founding members of that team could do after 6 years away from the sport. I think I did pretty good, I wasn't spectacular or anything, but I did pretty good. Played 4 games and had a lot of fun. Once again, thank you to my brother and his team. Also, Sunday I went to the Nashville Zoo. I took my godgaughter and it was so cute. last nite i was looking at some quotes & lyrics that ive written dowm and i think ive figured it out. the reason i fell for the guys i did was b/c they seem to b everything im not. popular, confident, wanted,.....etc. i guess i thought if i was with them i was a part of the lyfe i wanted. now i wouls still b apart of that lyfe, (have more friends and do crazier things) but i dont wanna get there just b/c im with somebody. id rather make it there by myself.
