Well I am back!
It went great for me. Not so well for them though. :lol
#1 They are looking for more of a District Sales Manager. I was told that it was more on the Human Resources/Operations side when I did my phone interview
#2 I told them that I didn't realize it was a sales position and that i didn't have as much experience in sales. Then the guy said "but you seem very outgoing and smart. I think you would easily transition into this position." I don't want to do sales!
#3 When he asked if I had questions for him I fired away. At that point he became really nervous. It was actually quite amusing. (am i terrible for saying that?)
They are a fairly small company. Last year's fiscal year revenue was only 30 million. I personally feel way over qualified for the job. In a week or so I will send a thank you card letting them know that another opportunity has become available for me that I am taking and that I appreciate the time that was given to me.
Oh well! It was good to get my feet wet again, regardless.
