Is Slow The Right Way?
Is taking things slowly that bad? Is getting to know each other in a matter of months bad? Is taking your time to build this "house" a bad thing? Dod Force Adjustments
DOD force adjustments WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Department of Defense announced today additional major units scheduled to deploy in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The announcement involves 10 brigade combat teams consisting of approximately 35,000 personnel. These units will deploy as replacement forces for formations currently operating in Iraq. The deployment window for these units will begin in August 2007 and continue through the end of the year. Driving Lesson No10
Woot!!! Had a brilliant lesson! Finally got to show off my 3 point turns and reversing skills, which far outweigh my driving forward skills! Although I had a really good forward driving day! Planning junctions and turns etc better. Getting more confident of clutch control too... funny how I'm a master with it, in reverse and on very tight slow turns. Conquered the roadabouts in town and lane changes without prompting. Things are starting to become automatic...finally! Comedy Competition May 30th
Finally put my foot down and took the night off from work Wenesday night May 30th to enter a comedy competition. Problems
well i got a bit of bad news yesterday. I have been in excruciating pain in my feet and found out why. I fractured the left foot and the right foot the bones have grown together. So im waiting on a day for surgery. I have to have both feet surgically repaired. They are gonna put a screw in the left to fixate the break and on the right they are disconnecting the bones so that my foot can move and stop hurting. Im in braces on both feet right now.. arg what a pain. And after surgery i will be in a hard cast. I dont know yet if it will all be done at one time or if it will be 2 seperate surgery procedures. Please keep me in your thoughts and say a prayer that i come through this operation safely.

King Herod's Tomb May Have Been Found
JERUSALEM - An Israeli archaeologist on Tuesday said he has found remnants of the tomb of King Herod, the legendary builder of ancient Jerusalem, on a flattened hilltop in the Judean Desert where the biblical monarch built a palace. I could not wait to rent this movie, and to be honest, I'm not sure if it delivered or not. It is definitely a movie that needs a few viewings to make sure you totally get it. Oil Prices
I have recently received emails and read bulletins which propose that we either do not purchase gas on a certain day or not buy gas from certain gas stations. Obviously, not buying gas on a particular day has no effect on the revenues of the oil companies. They just get their money a day earlier or a day later. Also, oil is a fungible commodity and if Exxon doesn’t sell the oil from their refineries at the pump, they will sell it to the companies from which we are buying the gas. The demand will increase at the stations where we are buying from and they will raise their prices. Who suffers?? The laws of supply and demand supersede any scheme which does not involve pumping more oil or decreasing demand. High oil prices put pressure on our economy and also help to fund unfriendly nations. Hi everyone. Its a beautiful sunny morning here in columbus and I have a full week ahead. Thank God! Tenacious D And The Pick Of Destiny
I must admit, I came into this movie with very low expectations. Jack Black to me cannot carry a movie in my humble opinion, but I do like his music. I was surprised at how entertained I was. I'm not saying this is Blazing Saddles, but it did have its moments. Kyle Gas was very funny. He's Jack Black's sidekick in Tenacious D. He's also a pretty good guitarist. He played a pretty good straight man to Jack Black, and he got a thumbs up from me. Jack Black was predictable. He overacted. He was annoying. He was a scene stealer ...everything that makes me not like his movies. But oddly enough, it sort of fit the script. As a special treat, Dave Grohl plays the devil. That alone made the whole movie worth it. The songs are funny, very over the top, and theres is also a special appearance by Ronnie James Dio. As a special note, the kids who played the younger version of the two were dead on. Kudos to casting. I give it 6 stars, with one extra for Dave Grohl

In today's world people makes friendships and breaks the chain of what friedships really mean. Looking back at the times that I was young and in high school, I cherished my friends and thought of most of them as sisters and brothers.. others were close but there was a few that was just a little different. well mine was excellent ope all of you on ct had a wonderful weekend as well... now that i have your attention lol id like to let u know a lil about a gas protest schedualed to take place on may 15th.... Don't pump gas on May 15th! .....in April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight. On May 15th 2007, all cherrytap members are asked to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places. There are 864,811+ members currently on the cherrytap network , and the average car takes about 20 to 30 dollars to fill up. If all cherrytap members did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $25,944,330.00 (based on $30 percar) out of the oil companys pockets for just one day. Squirrels In Church
There were Five country churches in a small TEXAS town: The Presbyterian Church, the Baptist Church , the Methodist Church , the Catholic Church and the Jewish Synagogue. Why is it now that whenever I go to fill up my car with petrol (at what I call my local 'petrol station'), I have to stand in a queue for about 20 minutes to pay, behind a whole bunch of idiots buying anything from sweets and fast food to magazines - but not petrol!! Lifes Drama
Well life is about as drama filled as it can get with so muh shit going on i've honestly lost count on how many sleepless nights i've gotten.. Seven Months After My Accident
Well its been about seven months after my accident..& the outcome of it all is that I cannot feel my ring finger or my pinkie..I will never be able to feel my elbow again for the rest of my life..I also have this 12 inch scar that runs from about an inch from my armpit all the way down past my elbow..They say my full recovery is 2 years but Idk we will have to see..I get cramps, spasms and my hand will lock up to were I cannot move it for a time..I get that about 1 - 2 times a day..the pain is unimaginable, I wouldn't wish this upon anyone..Losing 4 pints of blood & having 2 pints to live on is a scary thought..& the fact you know that you were just minutes from death..makes you think..scares you when everything is happening so fast..I'm also restricted on what I lift..I cannot lift more than 10 - 20 pounds I can;t use anything that vibrates to hard twist or pull.. Just a little note so everyone knows that I am still alive. I am in the middle of no where, literally. Just mountains and more mountains. We go on missions almost everyday and even spend days outside the wire. We had some IED action here last week but it hit a local national and not us. Pretty sure that it was meant for us but it is hard to tell when there is only one road in or out. We are one of the few PRT's that have nothing on our FOB, no finance, no mail, no AAFES. I thought AAFES goes everywhere we go?! I would send pictures but it never works. Everything here pretty much sucks but once we go out and spend days outside the wire with MRE's, no showers and no toilets, this place feels like heaven. Wish some of you guys could be to hike the mountains with me. It is so much fun, not. If something happens, we are screwed. No real place to get cover and you are definately not running up or down one of these mountains. It does get entertaining:-) Well I gotta go! Hope you all are

Germany, The Times Of Twisted Metal And Endless Drink

Darkness

I long for many things and one of which is unattainable. It sucks and even though life is full of disappointments I only desire a few things one of which I can't seem to have. In A Funk
So I've been in a major funk lately. Can't seem to amuse myself, and being at home 4 days out of the week in a newer city with no friends is starting to get to me a little. Mickey works on the road mon - thurs or sun - weds, leaving me alone with my dog and no friends. And of course, the store I work at, all the other employees are like 50's. It amazes me how people keep going back to the same door time and time again. Even if the door has been slammed in their face repeatedly! I myself keep running into the same door. I know what I want is on the other side. I know it is there because the door opens just a little and I get a peek at what I want, then the door slams again. I guess I should turn my back on the door and move on but its very hard when what you really want is on the other side! As we hear of all the budget cuts that are looming over the average citizen I was thinking of ways to cut the budgets (federal and state) without taking from those who have the least and work the hardest for their money. My first suggestion is to impose a 50% wage reduction on all Presidents, Vice Presidents, Senators and Representatives. This includes all Govenors, Lt. Govenors, and State elected officials. Secondly, there would be no more voting yourself in a pay raise. No average american can give themselves a pay raise so you won't be allowed to do this anymore The previously mentioned people will pay for their own health care benefits just like the average american, no more freeby insurance just because you chose to be a politician. Finally, after being gone for months Kristian is coming home!!! I am so beyond happy right now. Movie Review
I took my boys to see Spiderman 3 tonight. I hope they don't make anymore Spiderman movies as this one was not the greatest. One of my kids even fell asleep. There was a lot of wonderful critiscism over this show, but honestly, I didn't enjoy it at all. There weren't a lot of action scenes and when there was, it was too dark to really appreciate it. The dramatic scenes were overdramatic, predictable, and frankly - boring. The actors did a fantastic job of what they had to work with. Poor Kirsten Dunst seems to have lost a huge amount of weight. She did not look happy. But - these are my opinions and I hope other people could enjoy the movie more than I.

Got To Admit It's Getting Better
Well guess what, things are definately starting to look up for me. I've been talking to a wonderful soldier in Afghanistan that i am very happy to see that he will be comming home soon. He is going to come visit for a while as I will try and make it to see him. It's all so very exciting to see things are going good again. How I Feel.............
Hi all, I just wanted to say that right now i am totally frustrated and a lil concerned as well. I am trying to get ahold of my hubby on his cell phone, and usually he answers it pretty quickly after it rings, well i have been trying to get ahold of him since 8pm (cst) and his phone keeps hanging up on me, like it's either dead or it's charging. You will see the Enhance Colors controls. DO NOT TOUCH THE "Brightness" CONTROL! Ignore it completely. You will not need it. Start fixing your photo by INCREASING the "Gamma Correction" value. Either click on "OK" or "Apply to original" to see how your photo has been lightened. Maybe too much? Too much is what you want! Adjusting the Contrast will fix this! Chapter 7 Revenge A few days after the break-up with Lauren – if it could be called such – I decided I’d had enough of the cast. I shuffled over to my locker and retrieved my marine survival knife. I don't know about anyone else But I believe in god and i get offensive if anyone uses his name in vain.I am also offensive cause they took him out of schools and the courts and other places Im sure of.whose decision was this anyway and how can we put him back.? I think who ever did this is a hypocrite. I mean come on and think about it. they don't want anything to do with him but they sure can spend that money,and im sure everyone knows what it says on the money. In God we trust. what are they gonna do next. take that off? better not give them any ideas.
