Broken Foot!
Just to let you all know that I haven't been ignoring you this week, I broke my right foot on Saturday (7/30/07) and have been in pain ever since. I was pumping gas and tripped over the gas hose while going to the garbage can. I fell hard on my right elbow and knee while my foot stayed tangled in the hose....... I couldn't stand up after I fell but I was more worried about the bleeding from my arm and elbow. I went to the ER yesterday afternoon, (I thought it was a bad sprain) and found out I broke my 2nd metatarsal bone on the top of my foot. I now have an aircast and am up and about on crutches for the next 6 weeks! Pretty fun, eh? Not only do I feel stupid, but embarrassed too! Had a rough day today! I thoroughly convinced my boss I know nothing about computers! :-( Just started an internship last Friday -- today was my second day! My first day I hit the "undo" button instead of the "refresh" button, but we laughed about it at the end of the day! Today I replaced a motherboard for the first time! It was very exciting. :-) I couldn't intern at a better place. Sorry, should have forewarned everyone yesterday - I can't be online on my new job so I will get hear in evenings when I can. Why Do I Care?
Why should I care? When my shift ended on Friday night (11:30pm) I sat a talked to a friend instead of going home. She asked me what was wrong and made a statement about how I must really not want to go home tonight, yea was my answer. I left here about 1am, and just drove some back county roads till about 3am before heading home. What has been on my mind is another person I shot some e-mails to. She lives about 2000 miles away, has kids, widowed. Its pretty obvious she has several on-line admires and the chance of my ever meeting her in the foreseeable future is limited to some alternate universe. So why should I care, why should I let anything read concern me? I don’t know her, nor she me. Why should she? She has her own problems to deal with, kids, dealing with a disability, and just the immediate sphere closest to her just like the rest of us. Who am I to even warrant a thought on her part? We had my brothers memorial. It would have been his birthday. It's impossible to describe.. seeing pictures of your baby brother, that you have never seen before. Pictures, of his "last days". Of a party of sorts with his "brothers". I don't know.... I miss him.. Some of you haven't seen this.. I made it for him, when he was MIA. Some of you know, he was found.. He was actually found, weeks, before it was told to US. I hope that you like the video. I'm laying down for abit. I miss him alot.. The doctors came in this morning and are saying that they are not expecting the baby to live. He is having strokes one after another. They said if the child were to live that he would be completely blind and he will be a vegetable for the rest of his life. And will be dependant on life support for the rest of his life. My Thoughts And Observances Of A World Gone Amok!
It's been a while since news broke out on Michael Vick's alleged involvement with illegal dogfighting. And since then I've kept somewhat a casual observance over the developments since then. First off, I'm just sick to death over the detailed accounts listed in the federal indictment papers where they put a "losing" dog to death by hosing it down with water and then electrocuting the dog. Well, being a dog lover myself, I've come to the conclusion. If I was the judge, I would impart with Solomon-like wisdom and have Michael Vick hosed with water and then electrocuted. As I sit here in the place that I grew up and realized how much has changed in civilian life and me. Life was so much simpler as a child and then I grew up. Not knowing what I wanted out of life so I took that step of signing those papers into military service. I now realized that as I left the service, that it too would be missed. The times that you spend training and building a form of brotherhood that could never be replaced. It is the only place that there is no bias on religion, race, gender or branch. Granted everyone does pick on all of the above, but it is completely different. Weight Loss
I just wanted to write my thoughts on this. I have been looking into the new weight loss procedure for over a year now. The procedure consists of inserting a band around the top portion of the stomach that is adjustable. This procedure is a lot less complicated than bypass where your stomach is actually made smaller and they remove a portion of your intestines and reroute them to your "new" stomach. Lapband is 100% reversable. The reason that i have not been able to get the surgery is because my insurance would not cover it. They would rather pay for treatment that the weight causes than something that can prevent it. Well, as of August 1st my insurance has changed and the new insurance will pay for this procedure. I am going to start the procedure process in December and the surgery will be done by January or February. The one thing that will try to stop me is my husband. He is trying to tell me not to do it. My poor darlin' Jennbug is just having a rough time! Right before I came down to visit and look for a job, she ended up with a horrible ear infection. Friday night, she was in so much pain, we had to call her Doc and get some meds called in for her. Now, yesterday at about 1pm, Jennbug, her daughter and I were in a minor car accident. Life's Update
Just a snippet of information on my present situation. I have been living with my sister for six months now and I can honestly say that it has been a worthwhile experience. The original premise for moving in with her was so that we could support each other during our own little pitfalls; she suffers from depression and recently attempted suicide, myself I was recently diagnosed with a second cancer in addition to another operative cancer I was already dealing with. Fakes Why is it that my rants revolve so much around the antics of those online who portray themselves as bdsm or D/s? Well maybe it is because in all my contact with those in real life who are involved in the practice and love of bdsm, I have been lucky not to witness this kind of behaviour, or perhaps, it isn't so much "luck" maybe it's because in the main the kinds of games I see on line just don't happen. I have a virus on my computer. I keep getting the message.....Windows Explorer has stopped working...windows is checkig for a solution. Then it says Windows is restarting. It does this over and over and over and is driving me nuts!!! I can't even run my anitvirus because the message keeps throwing me out of everything. Someone pleeeeeeeeeeease help me. Yesterday, I went to walmart because I wanted a couple tank tops and pj bottoms to lounge around the house in and I'm outgrowing everything. While at walmart, I also picked up some Nair (too lazy and big to worry about shaving lol) and some Ivarest for my son's poison ivy. Walmart is about 20min away.. I'm in VT and Walmart is in NH. I get home.. and the idiot cashier didn't give me my Nair or Ivarest!! My son needed the Ivarest and I had my heart set on doing my legs because it's been a month! AND, I was charged for these items. So, I get back in the car and go all the way back to walmart to pick up the rest of my stuff.. This morning, I decide to check my bank account, I knew how much I should have in there because I'd just checked it yesterday and I'd spent about $20.00 since then. My Vacation
It's so wonderful to be on vacation and come and go as I please and not have a worry in the world...also so nice to not have to worry about getting up at 4:40am! Being Grandma
I became a grandmother for the first time last March. It was the best feeling in the world. My son and his girlfriend was living in Texas with my sister. The girlfriend packed up one and came back home to Michigan. She wouldn't let me see my granddaughter for the longest time. She was jumping all over with her sleeping were ever. She petitioned the courts for full custody but my son got custody and took my granddaughter back to Texas, it was a sad day seeing her leave. My sister invited the girlfriend to Texas for Christmas. While there my son and sister got into a big fight something that will never heal. My sister kicked him because he got violent. Now my son, granddaughter and girlfriend are staying at friends house. I cry every day wondering what is happening. Both parents don't put the baby first and they fight like cats and dogs. I've tried everything I can to get them back here or at least the baby but they won't come back. Im gonna be a grandma for the first time.

Have you ever had people who you thought were your friends? And you called them your friends, and you talked to them on an almost daily basis? I am also at my limit for family members on this family page. For some reason it will not verify my email. Vacation Time!!

I Know None Of You Knew Him
I know you more than likely didnt know him but a good friend of mine passed away late July 28/early July 29 when he was involved in a head on collision. For those who care to read this Colton Parker was one of the best friends that anyone could ask for. He had the ability to make anyone laugh and had no trouble bringing a smile to your face. He always had time to listen and was completely understanding no matter what the situation was. Those who knew him may sit and ask why but we know that dwelling on past things doesnt help change our future. Sunday Morning Rant
There are a bunch of things on my mind this morning. Unanswered questions, if you will. Does anyone online take emotions seriously anymore? When someone rates a photo or a profile highly, or if you're "fanned" or added as a friend, is that just a meaningless thing you do with someone's profile? Kevin, my son of 14 years, was just being himself, a Autistic boy, who just wanted to go to school. Tried to be a big boy, and go himself... Was struck by two SUV's, crossing the road.
