February 11-12, 2008 Winter Storm Blogs
Here we go one more time! Ice has moved back into NKY. Right now, the airport in Hebron, KY has 29 and freezing rain. Refreezing taking place...the freezing rain should change to all snow by the time we get to 11pm, and maybe another inch or so will accumulate. Tomorrow...some schools will delay, a few in NKY will close due to the re-freeze, but not as extensive as today was. This is pretty much going to be a wrap for my winter storm coverage...if you've been reading, thanks! Right now, we have some light snow here. Should catch a break until about 10pm and then the real fun begins. One school district has already closed for tomorrow...Carroll County, KY schools. We still have major ice problems east of downtown Cincinnati. We have 2013 Duke Energy customers with no power. That's primarily on the west side. Things could break up from the west later this morning...if we catch a break it'll be short-lived because we still have a long way to go before this is all over.

Just a little vent here about lyfe. Sometimes in lyfe we are presented with situations in which we either learn, or not. I wake knowing she is in bed next to me. I know not because I see her but because I feel her. This is a Monday I thought I would be able to sleep in but no......a kid called for Christopher early this morning 2 times! I am tired and sore and in need of some strong coffee! This is how lazy I am being....I called my daughter's cell phone from my bed and asked her to run to Starbucks and get me a latte since I am too sore to get out of bed and make it myself! going to the docs today to get an ultrasound on my thyroid....during a doc visit they found the left thyroid was much bigger than the left. I went in the first place because I woke up about 2 Saturdays ago with extreme dizziness. It was so bad I fell. Happy that the bed was underneath me. Well went to our after-hours and they diagnosed me with having fluid in my ear, gave me a script for meclizine and sent me home. I had to sleep for the next week w/ 2 pillows under my head and in an almost sitting position for my vertigo to cease. What a terrible week. The 2nd week was not as bad. Just couldn't sleep on my right side with out the room spinning, and thats my fav side to sleep on. I called my doc and told him I still have the symptoms even though they are not as bad now. He is sending me to get an ultrasound and bloodwork done on my thyroid. I get that done today. Hope I am dying a slow death or something to joke about. I hope I am is not dying or something lol j/k I know it is not funn

Halloween- My boys, from my 40th party album decided it was time again to stop the tour bus and pick me up for as always, a WILD RIDE lol No, dirty minds *tsk tsk* lol Their wives were there lol But the boys always make sure that I have a great time at every show. Always a surprise for me. We were friends long before they hit the touring and CD's...So, they took me to this small town in Wachula where another well known band was playing as well. What a blast!!!!! Update
Well I'm finally able to sit up and feel like typing so for those who don't know I had my gall bladder removed on Wednesday. Yeah I know I'm young but they said it looked awful once they got it out. They also checked for one of the stones that had passed into my bile duct and caused me to be violently sick last week(btw they didn't see it so guessing that it passed out of my system). With my health like it was I had to postpone school for the remainder of the month and will finish my last 3 weeks next month. This is not what I would have liked to have happened but hey sometimes you just have to shutup and deal with life. For those who rate or fan me or anything just know that I will try to get back to you as soon as possible but as I'm still in some pain I'm not sitting right here regardless of being signed on or not. Wierd Dream
During my nightly meditation last night , a strange thing happened. Instead of the normal rambleings of my head , a strange apparition continously blocked all other thoughts. It began as a streak of purple that slowly took form into an eye. Not human, more of a beast. Normally if this happens I invoke a circle of light, helping to get rid of anything negative. When I tried this I got the feeling that i was being laughed at, disgustingly. The shape never took full form, or I just couldnt see it clearly. It was as if it was only inches from my face. I could hear it breath, and feel the breath upon my face. It felt as if this thing was playing with me, taunting me to get rid of it. In the end, all I could do was sit up and look around, even had to get up and move around to rid myself of the feeling of being watched. Any Ideas of what this was? My life has sucked for years and then I found this wonderful man and I love him with all my hart and soul. I know I’ve made mistakes and I’m sorry for them. I would do anything for this man I would give him the world and more if I could. I’ve stuck by him through a lot and I’ve always been there and trusted him and I still did everything I could to help him when he needed help. Spring Break
I have been wanting to take my girls somewhere for Spring Break so we can have some bonding time. My oldest is graduating from HS this year and will be going to college and working. She won't have much time for me anymore. Anyway, I found some killer airline tickets. I called their dad to see if he would object because they would wind up missing half a day on Wed and all day Thurs. He said it sounded like a nice plan, however they will miss 3 soccer games which is one third of their soccer season. And the time they will be missing from school will NOT be excused so if they have any tests in that time they WILL NOT be able to make those up. Random Thoughts......
It seems that I trust others way to easily and to quickly...which can be a blessing and it can be a problem as well. Its great to be that way, to see the good in everyone...but it also sets me up for heart ache. The internet is a wonderful tool to make friends and to meet new people. But, it can also bring heartbreak. It gets even scarier when you trust those that you determine your friends. I'm kinda at a cross roads now...not sure what to think of a situation. Experiment
I posted 3 universal mumms with three different types of situations. One was a real medical situation (which happens to be about something that happened to me), one was about the ideal date, and one about sex. I have been paying attention to what is going on with the mumms as far as the viewing, voting and commenting. Damn, I am hurting all over! It sucks to not be 25 anymore!!! We went to a wedding yesterday and it was at a country club with a beautiful golf course. The wedding was inside being that it is February and chances are, it is going to be either cold or raining. Where we sat for the ceremony was over looking the golf course and just beautiful. So yesterday I went to Go see Crank High Voltage.  If you liked the crazy style of the first one then you will love this.   I was laughing through some of it and closing my eyes to a bit of the gore.  But wide awake for all the nudity, sex and violence.  Now the idea in the first one was that he gets this drug that is supposed to kill him in an hour and adderline keeps him alive.   There is a scene in witch he has sex with Amy Smart that I think won the award for worst sex scene, well that was an amazing scene but sex wise it was crazy, if you saw the first one you know what I mean.  From the previews I knew Amy would be in this movie again.  I didn't know how she would be in it but it was funny to me how they brought her in, or at least I thought it was.   Now in this new movie as shown in the previews he has Heart taken and he is given a replacement one that is made to last like and hour or something (can't say more with out giving away some plot so I won't) so he has to track it dow

Puter Going Into Shop
This morning we had not one but two power outages the second woke me up because puter was beeping. We have tried resitting the processor and fan as well as taking cmos battery out waiting and putting it back in so far just a set of beeps and no boot. Unfortunately this means some fubar but not much as this puter is 1/3 the speed and 1/2 the memory of mine. This also means no djing until I can get it fixed :(. My neighbor is calling her tech tomorrow to see what can be done. Keep fingers crossed its not as bad as it seems and I'll be back on soon. Ive talked to a few people lately, and of course everybody is asking, how I am. Well the truth is not very well, I feel as if I am a little rowing boat in the middle of the largest ocean, just sailing around aimlisly, without any direction. I have been spending more time with my children and family as well, which is natural. As for the future of me on fubar I dont really know, Ive still got 3 weeks left of my VIP, but my heaert isnt in it at the moment.
