What A Friggin Weekend
I was probably 20 years old and my dad had just died a year earlier and I was running the trucking company. I took a 500 mile run and got home to a ringing phone that one of our drivers had an emergency and couldn't make his run. So I woke up my little brother and asked him to go with me right back out and he did. we went into Wichita and loaded a tanker load of grease (liquid animal fat) to go to a feedlot. I ended up going to the wrong feedlot. I misunderstood the name and didn't look at my paperwork. thank goodness it was only about a 50 mile mistake. So we drag our tired asses back 50 miles to a new feedlot that we had never hauled to before. Here is where it gets funny. My peterbilt was equipped with a 2 inch pump that would unload 50,000 pounds of grease in less than 25 minutes. this thing moved some fat. Surgery
I went to the DR and just had bloodwork done and she marked it urgent as to have the results in a couple hours. Plus I have to have another cat scan done to make sure the emergency surgery they did back in August actually repaired everything. She thinks there is a block in the circulation to my kidneys that is draining my potassium and causing my BP to sky rocket again. It was 189/133 an hour ago. And Im on meds that usually control it. If there is a block then I need more surgery and Im scared. Im tired of being poked and prodded and sliced and diced. I eat right, I excercise and take good care of myself and my family. My cooking for myself started the beginning of my sixth grade year. My mom had gotten into a car accident one night while I was home alone. My dad was on a business trip. Mil Skills Competition
Mil skills competition It starts with an inspection of us and our camp. I am elected to keep the three camp fires lit and fuelled, including the cooking fire which is to have a pot of water on the boil. The rest of the platoon has marched to another location to be inspected. I just don't understand. The more I try to make people happy, the more unhappy they seem to become. The world has lost one of it's most beautiful people with the passing of my grandmother about 1 hour ago. She was the nicest and most compassionate woman anyone would ever know. She was a deeply religious woman who always looked forward to going to church on Sunday's regardless of her health, so she could be with her fellow church member and celebrate the Lord. She has really been suffering in the past few months: having a heart attack, stroke and her leg amputated all since late April. Throughout this time, she continued to be a pillar of strength even when she knew that she wasn't going to be in this world much longer. However, it was finally time for one of God's angels to return home and be in her rightful place in heaven. I will miss you Mema. You youngest grandson have so much love for you and will see you again one of these days when it's my time to leave this Earth. Rest in peace Mema. Everyday Life
Well today was my birthday, and just like every other year things had to go wrong... I was woken up after an hour of sleep to get my cleaning done... Okay, so Friday I started my house arrest for 30 days. Woo Hoo, yeah what fun right? Well I can still leave 7am to 7pm freely. So it's not that bad. He is going to have to change it to later in the evening if they want me to go to A.A. meetings too. The latest are at 8pm and having to be there for an hour and the drive home to take in account for will probably give me till 10pm to get home. Since I will be going to college still I'm going to be pretty busy. Often we think that we know what we want in life. I have come to always ask myself why a fireman like myself can save everyone but when it comes to your own people ,why can't we save our own ... I Think I Am Going Insane
I am so happy that my car is running again. A week is too long to go without transportation! Last week was the worse week of my life. Friday night I went to a concert and got whiplash from people being thrown on my head. Sunday I got stung by a yellow jacket on the cheekbone and my eye swelled up, looked like someone beat the shit out of me Monday I woke up sick as a dog Thursday they turned my gas off because of some stupid bank mistake I made and it cost me 125.00 + the 59.00 bill I owed to get it back on Thursday night I went to 378 and my car started acting up. Friday went to pay the gas bill and get it turned back on (never had utilities turned off in my life!) And my car completely died! Had to call someone to come tow me. Friday afternoon after my car broke down (I guess the last straw) I started shaking and hyperventelating. Thought I was going to have to go to the ER or something. Ok I don't understand guys i guess its a mars venus thing. Road Trip With The Club
Well, I feel like a silly school kid, and at my age that is saying something. Here is what happened last weekend. I belong to the Intermountain Chapter of the Porsche Club of America and last Saturday afternoon we had a road trip and a BBQ scheduled. I had plans and was not going to attend, however as time drew near to the scheduled meeting time I was out and about and thought that it would be fun just to stop by and see some of the other cars. Well, since I'm not allowed to create a mumm, (heck if I know why I can't) I will go this route. I'm bummed cause my 15yr old had to go to jail on 8/11 for his behavior. He did hurt his younger brother and sister for no reason--had an "outburst". Long story short, because of that he has to stay there til 9/17. He has been diagnosed with adhd but being a mother, I KNOW there is something more wrong. It is sad to me that he has to end up in the "system" to get the help I now know he'll get. My mom went through the same thing.

Can't Wait To Move!
WHEW~! today was a rough day around here. We got ready and went out to Olive Garden for lunch. After lunch we run by Wal-mart and grab some things we needed and then came home. Jeff jumped on fixing the lawn mover (finally) and got it fixed. Elizabeth cleaned out the dog pen and I planted some flowers while Dillon rode his Power Wheel 4 wheeler. It was very humid here today and we all sweat so much. Jeff got the mower fixed and cut the grass. Then we sent the kids in and walked our property line and decided to burn some logs and boxes....the pyromaniac came out in both of us...but it was hot~! anyway the kids got a bath and ate supper while Jeff and I sat outside on the bench under the tree cooling off.
