Ugh! Whats Happeneing For Me At The Moment!
Well all the past couple days have sucked bad for me. Two nights ago on Wednesday night, I was carried out of my house on a backboard/ I fell down 25 steps of stairs in my home. I was paralyzed for about 3 hours after it happened but luckily got my feeling back in my legs. Last night, I spent another night in the ER. The pain going from my tailbone that I broke all the way up to the base of my skull in my spine. After going to the doctor again today and the doctor looking at all my X-rays again, I find out that I have 4 broken ribs and the rest on my right side are bruised badly with hairline fractures. Also, fractured my hip which cannot be casted because of where it is so will need to do some physical therapy on top of it all. And because of my Lupus, it is going to take a whole lot longer for me to heal than others would. GREAT HUH! NOT! Nov 19th
This week is going to be a very difficult week for me. With my boyfriend being gone this week I am going to have to start packing. I was leary about unpacking when I first got here because of knowing in the back of my mind that I would have pack again. The only thing is, when I came this last time I had summer and winter clothes, going to try to make my suitcases lighter and just carry the winter clothes. This time in Germany has been harder then the last, not seeing my boyfriend except on the weekends, I feel cheated although I knew that is how it was going to be. Last night we got into a HUGE discussion where of course I was in tears. All I am looking for is reassurance. Yes when I am back in the states I am going to be screwed, not having money to live off of and not having a way to get to places. That scares me. Finally!
Well, I went to a new doctor today. He's the head Dermatologist and after seeing him today, I so wish that I had been able to see him from the start a few months back. First, for the many of you who are not aware of what I'm even talking about regarding my leg, I have had a problem with my leg (originally both legs) since the end of May. Hence, the reason for no leg pics in my albums for many months! :P It started out as Erythema Nodosum (inflammation of the deep tissue of the leg). My left leg cleared up but my right leg got worse and swelled really bad, to the point that I was having to stay off of it with my leg propped up and taking the major pain killers. After about 3 months, my doctor told me that he was referring me to a dermatologist because he had exhausted all he knew on me and didn't want to waste anymore of my time. (He's a great doctor but a family practicioner.) So, I started seeing a new Derm. who began me on new meds (that were very scary!) of which I have been tak

Pure Dead Brilliant!
Well folks, the dream is now over and reality is once more restored to our lives... ...In other words, we're back from sunny Spain to the cold and draughty Scotland. Calella (pronounced, as we found out, Ca-lay-a and not cal-ell-la as we had pronounced it) was fantastic. We stayed at the 4 star Calella Palace but this place should have been a 5 star because the place was top quality. As it was all inclusive, this meant the bar and restaurant was ours for the plundering (and boy did we plunder it!). By the end of our holiday, i think i had put on a few pounds and my liver tried to move out at least twice. The hotel was spotless and highly maintained and we couldnt find a fault anywhere. Staff were all very friendly and the weather was kind to us. We did take a trip into Barcelona but quickly found out that it was a public holiday and most places were shut. We did take a trip, however, to the cathedral at Segrada Famillia and it took our breath away. It was HUGE and we

Well I went to Agusta if anyone didn't know thats the Capitol of Maine. Had to get my moms windshield fixed, because on the way to work wensday a huge rock hit the window. So, I just now realized that I just passed my 5 year anniversary for my divorce. And, I didn't even have a party or anything. (The divorce was a good thing). Anyway, I'm sitting here trying to think of everything that's happened in the last 5 years and I'm thinking that, that day was the best thing in those 5 years. hahaha.... Just kidding. Anyway. I've been trying one of the hardest typing tests with the driver's license division three times before passing it but today I FINALLY MADE IIIIITTTTTTTTT. The first time they failed me because I "only" scored 74% and their passing score is 80%. The second time I was so down that even my score went way down..., down to 60% and today...TADAAAAAAAAAAAA a 96% score got me way over just "passing". IN YOUR FACE YOU STUPID SQUARE HEADS!!!! I wish that meant I have a job with the driver's license division , but it's not quite that easy. They still have to get me in for an interview and several people got to this stage,so I should somehow make them believe,that I'm better than the ones they're interviewing for the same position. Saying I need luck is a bit underestimating the whole picture,so please wish me a lot of that cute luck,will you guys?

My Step Dad
Would everyone pray that my stepdad recovers from his wreck from Friday night (Jan. 04, 2008)? He is in critical condition at Erlanger in Chattanooga. He flipped his car into a revine and it crushed his chest and ribs. The jaws of life had to cut him out due to him being so big. He is 6'4 and weights about 300. So yeah, I see why they had to cut him out, but he was pinned under the roof from it flipping on it's top. We do not know how he had the wreck or what caused it. Copper Bottom Pots
So here goes another dumb blog. I am very Anal about my cooking utensils. I hand Hone all my stainless knives every week and I resharpen every month. For those of you that dont know, you should re-hone your knives before every time you cook. Use the Honing rod that came with your butcher block, that's right it is not a sharpener it is a Honer. Use a 22 degree angle and do 3-4 strokes on each side. So I will cut to the chase. I will only cook on copper bottom pots. The problem is they get dull fast. The copper doesn't stay shinny for long, I dont care how much you paid for your set. I was using Never dull and Brasso to keep them looking new but those cleaners smell like shit and they give your wrist a work out. Today I found the solution, Wrights copper cream. This stuff works!!! instantly transforming your tarnished copper pots into shinny new pennies..LMAO Can you tell I am bored yet? Seriously this stuff works. The Hospital is across the street from my dr's office and they took me by Gurney to the ER which I was admitted. Multiple test, X-Rays , Blood etc over the next couple of days and the results are.... Life is like the mist you see just as the sun's coming up in the morning. You see everything real clear when it's close up like in the present. As you try to look beyond like into the future it gets kind of hazy, and the further you try to look the more hazy it becomes. INGREDIENTS * 3/4 cup shortening * 3/4 teaspoon salt * 1 1/2 cups white sugar * 2 cups milk * 3 eggs * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour * 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder * 1 teaspoon almond extract * 1 cup flaked coconut * 1/3 cup corn syrup * 2 tablespoons water * 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 3/4 cup white sugar DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9 inch round layer cake pans. 2. Separate eggs reserve 2 of the egg whites for the frosting. Cream shortening, add 1 1/2 cups of the sugar, beaten egg yolks, and 1 egg white; continue beating until well combined. 3. Some of you know my team has been in this month long hockey tourney that has been going on the weekends. What's Been Going On...

A Soldier's Last Christmas
A gray overcast sky was the cover over the land. The smell of sulfur filled the air as he walked. All around him carnage laid, covering the ground in a tangled mass of bodies. Streams of blood from many bodies formed pools on the ground, slowly seeping deep into the earth. The cold harsh breeze of winter blew savagely across these silent heroes. Battle worn flags whipped in the breeze, their seams tattered and torn and the material riddled in holes. Friend of foe it mattered not any more as none of the soldiers would be able to return to their homeland. Tears flowed heavy from his eyes as he could not understand the needless killings that had happened here on this day. Sorrow filled his heart as he knew somewhere in the world there were loved ones filled with pain from the loss that they now suffered. His heart and thoughts went out to all those that would have to pay for each death here today. Not the killers or the killed but the ones that would carry a empty spot inside them.

Why I Haven't Been Around....
Hey guys and girls.. I doubt many of you will read this.. but I just wanted to share why I haven't been around much lately.. either here or on yahoo. As some of you may know.. last Saturday I lost the baby. Its been a really difficult time for us, especially me this is the third that I've lost. I don't want anyone's sympathy I don't want ya know.. people to feel sorry for us.. what I want is just understanding. What I want is a break.. so here is what I'm asking.. for some respect and some just ya know.. time to heal. I know that most of you are used to me being here.. when you need me, but right now i can't be and I'm sorry. I hope you all understand that. I love you guys and I just wanted you to know everything is ok. I just need some time to myself right now.

Where I'm At...
Yesterday I had a real bad day but I realized alot of things. The most important thing being that I lack alot of things inside myself that makes me very vulnerable to being hurt. Who is to blame for the hurt? I am. I lack self esteem and confidence. I rely on others to fill my up instead of doing it myself. I have been letting others fill up my bucket that has a hole and it stays full for awhile until all the water leaks out. In order for the bucket to stay full I need to fix the hole not keep pouring more into it. I have no idea if anyone but me understands that. I lack alot of things and i need to change that which means I need to step away from the computer more and fix myself and even find myself again. I keep running when things get scary. Fear consumes me so I think that if I run from everything that scares me, It will solve things. When in fact running is making things worse. I am letting fear of things run my life. I need to face my fears and insecurities and not let them rule

So I've noticed in the past couple of days that a couple of friends on Myspace, (I have to go there since Allstate blocked me from here..bastards) have written blogs bitching about men. On one of these blogs a comment was made about stop worrying so much about men and concentrate on yourself. I found that to be very true. Immigration Idea
Recently there has been a lot of talk on how immigrating people from Mexico has injured our economy. There is also a lot of talk about how to solve this matter. The president wants to put up a wall between Mexico and the US, but what is that going to solve. The proposed wall is not even a continuous wall, it only covers "high traffic" areas and only covers 700 miles. That is like putting a band aid on gushing wound. There was also talks of creating tasks forces to flush out illegals that are already here. Anyway you look at it its our tax dollars that are going to pay for something that probably will have little or no effect. The plan I have is to build a base in Mexico, and not just any kind of base a basic training facility. The facility would allow qualified people to join the US military, By joining the military and fulfilling there requirements they are allowed US citizenship. With the decline in US basic training numbers this would also solve some of our own issues. How many o

I dont get it, why do people actually take offense to things that are done by others on the internet? Honestly Accounting For A Calculated Mistake And A Harrowing Week-end
It has been a harrowing few days because we had unexpected visitors on Thursday and they left today. The house was not tidy but it was sort of clean where it needed to be. Even the kitchen window got its face splashed. The visitors were he who has the compeetoe's sister and husband. The dirt does not matter too much to her because she cannot see well due to damage from laser surgery required because of her diabetes. That was a terrible time for her and it needn’t have happened if those in the know had listened to her in the first place rather than making her feel like an idiot and giving her tranquilizers/antidepressants. I have been driven mad by my brother-in-law because he is a chatter box and a repetitive one at that. I think that is nerves and maybe a little early onset memory deterioration. I don't know. Just Hurting So Much Inside
I keep wondering when the pain will go away. Will the hurt ever begin to lessen. I wonder how many tears, I will cry before I have no more left inside. People say it will get easier or better with time. I just dont see how, right now. Everyday it seems to get harder and more tears just keep flowing. Maybe if I had answers or reasons why, it would get easier with time. But with no explanations, and not even a word of why you have just disappeared, I dont think it will. Especially when the last words I had from you were that you would always be there no matter what. And how much you cared for me. And then the next day you just disappeared without a trace. Not a single word, a goodbye or anything. I just can't understand why.
