Finally On The Right Track...
i have finally gotten just bout everything back to normal. ive got a great job, finally my own place for the first time, a wonderful, wonderful man that means the world to me, and im bout to have my college classes starting soon. it feels great having all that other shit off my chest and starting new. i thought i had seriously fucked my life up beyond repair cause of choices i have made the last 5 years but then i had a friend sit down and talk to me bout everything i needed to change and she helped me get there. 2 days after i got this job i got an apartment. its great. now i can do ne damn thing i want to now. as soon as i get my comp and internet i will be able to start my college classes and get my business degree and by the time i get my degree i will be gettin married and then im opening up my restuarant. i cant wait. im just greatly releived that everything has started turning round for me cause if it hadnt of at the rate i was goin, i was probly goin to end up in a gutter dead

For those who read the previous bolg this is a follow-up. Talked to the vet this morning and Nutter did respond well to the IV. Food seems to be staying down and after some diareah her stools are now firming and - Most Importantly - are blood free. She purrs at anyone who talks to her, seeking human attention and the vet has given orders that the staff is to do so, including petting and stroking her having first washed hands so that no other smells intrude. This important because even the sound of a dog's collar rattling sends Nutter into a total fear reaction. So the vet says that it is unlikely that we can safely return her here until the dogs are gone, nor are we likely to be able to have any dog, even a tired old non-chasing critter for as long as Nutter lives. So we are paying to have her baorded there until Snoopy and Harley are gone. (To clarify for people: I am diagnosed as BiPolar, I'm not picking on anyone.) Today started out well enough; I relaxed and hung out. I Might As Well Give Up!!
I received notice that SSI has turned me down again. Some judge who has never met me or talked to me, has made a decision that will affect my life. As if I would willingly give up a job where I made $1600 a month for a measly $780 in SSI benefits. I like not being able to pick up my 2yr old grandson. I like having to be in pain all of the time because of a congenital nerve condition in my back. Or that I didn't work hard enough the last 40 years of my life to deserve the benefits. And I really really love having to beg for help paying my utility bills. Yup....I really wonder why I even get out of bed in the morning. I know for sure I won't tomorrow. I will just take a few extra meds so I sleep through the day. Maybe I won't cry in my sleep.

Artichokes with Butter Sauce 2 artichokes Lemon juice 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 teaspoon snipped fresh dill, tarragon, or oregano, or 1/4 teaspoon dried dill, tarragon, or oregano, crushed 1 tablespoon lemon juice Wash artichokes, trim stems and remove loose outer leaves. Well here it is on September 15 I was sent Arizona to help raise my other daughter and maybe restart a relationship back with her mother and go on with life. Just want to get a few ideas and thoughts out of my head before they drive me insane. A few who know me on here knows that I lost my mother in April to kidney failure. It was sudden, and totally unseen. Not like anyone could ever prepare for some one close to them to die, but it was a complete shock that to this day I'm still caught off guard from time to time. Usually I can keep my mind busy so I don't think about the loss, but with the holidays happening and I have no clue how to stop them, I've been thinking about my mom alot. I've been dreading Thanksgiving because even though I've cooked about 8 turkeys in my cooking history, I've ALWAYS had my mom around for me to ask what temp and how long. And yeah I know most turkeys come with directions it was almost like our tradition. It was a way to keep my mom involved even though she could no longer stand the length of time it took to cook a meal. Seizure Disorder
When I was a child I suffered a closed head injury and developed a seizure disorder. It was mild and by the time I was in my late teens, early twenties it had all but disappeared. I hadn't even thought about it for 30+ years. About two months ago, it returned with a vengence. No rhyme or reason, poof there it was. I'm up to three a day now and I'm really not sure what to do. My husband started a new job in August of this year and he is still listed as a temporary employee so we have no health insurance and I'm afraid to go to the doctor with it because when we get health insurance it will be listed as a pre-existing condition. And the insurance company won't cover it. Shit.

Steelers Win And Are Going To The Superbowl!
Ok so yes as most of you know I am a huge (pun intended) Steelers fan, I love them with all my heart and will always be a fan! Yesterday I got woken up uber early by a friend asking if Id go with her to Kankekee to drop of her cousin at the train station so she wouldnt have to make the trip alone (its about an hour drive one way) so I said sure. Along the way home we were talking and she had asked if I would be interested in going to classes since Ive been laid off and theyre taking their time hiring back everyone. I said sure why not, what else am I gonna do? So today I walk into the college about a mile from my place and ask about classes. Next thing I know, Im joining up for massage therapy, they looked at grants and stuff like that for me, and outta a $25,000 class all I'll have to pay is less than $5,000 if I decide to go through with it. This Mornings Dream
In this mornings dream i had a recollection in the dream about a previous dream. It seemed like I was in a bar or restaurant,or a pub of some kind.... and what i can gather I got in an altercation with some blond beach kid and slugged him right in the temple. the memory of the fight came back to me as this big Cherokee dude with long hair shakes my hand. this guy must have been 6'4" and built like a brick house, and says "I shouldnt let you in here after what you did." Then he doesnt let go of my hand and takes his other hand and slow motions a punch to my temple, as if to remind me of the incident hes referring to. End result? Another SHOT! This time Prednisone and a change in the antibiotics. Mother's Day 2004
Well,this is for all you who like to go out drinking and don't use designated drivers! On Mother's Day 2004 I was Managing a local convenience store when something made me look up and stare down the highway. Thats when a large SUV caught my eye. It ran the red light in the middle of town and then came barreling through the emergency signal. They driver tried to change lanes and over steered careening her into the vehicle of a detention deputy on her way to my store. The effects of what happen next will forever play in my mind. When her vehicle hit the deputy's it ricocheted it onto the store property. It came inches from killing one of my customers as it crossed our property airborn. It then struck the other gas pump sending it into the McDonald's parking lot on the next block along with a large 500 lb cement trash can. As you can tell from the subject of this blog, this is about friendship. It's about true friendship, and about how a true friendship can be blown to dust in a matter of few hours. I'll tell you my story now. Friday 24th april me and my band Painshock were playing a gig at a band competition at Emergenza Music Festival. We did incredibly well, winning the semi-final clearing our way into the finals by audience votes. After the gig we all retreived to our tour bus to celebrate our victorious performance, along side with other people we didn't even know that joined us. One of the unknown people asked me if he could take a beer from an open six-pack that was lying on the table. I had no clue who those beers belonged to, and I gave him the permission to take one. Apparently, our bassist's wife, who was sleeping at the back of the bus, heard me giving him the permission, so she came over to me, and that's when all hell broke loose. F'd Up
Just got back from urgent care. I originally went in for my hand, left being told I have 3 things going on. Bursa in my shoulder, tennis elbow and tendinitis in my hand. They gave me a shot of toradol there and a different wrist brace then the one I usually use making it hard as hell to type, kind of one fingered. They sent me home with prednisone and a muscle relaxer. I guess I am suppose to take 40 of these damn predinsones in a week, blech!!!! Typing sucks

Random Thoughts 3
So...my friend Heather and I headed out to Edgefield for Billy Idol. I knew going in that we would be wading into a sea of mullets and the best aging rocker crowd that Portland had to offer. Thankfully I was not to be dissapointed. But first...the concert. Billy came out blasting with Cradle of Love followed by Flesh for Fantasy, White Wedding (started acoustic and went electric) then hit To Be a Lover before breaking out the new stuff like John Wayne. At the "solo break" the best LIVING guitarist out there Steve Stevens put on a F'ing SHOW. He played a spanish solo that gave me the shivers and then busted into Led Zeppelin's Over The Hills and Far Away. Of course once he hit Rebel Yell the crowd went nuts. He encored with Hot in the City and Mony Mony. My ONLY complaint about the concert was that he blazed though the concert...not as much crowd interaction as I would have liked. What Dreams May Come?
I dream alot. Every night I have dreams. Some I remember vividly when I awaken. Some just wisp away. Lately when I'm most stressed I've had nightmares. The worse kinds. Waking terrors. I wake with screams trapped behind my teeth. I have had to call my father before because I was convinced he has a stroke in the middle of the night. Unfortunately with the grief over my mother I have had alot of death dreams lately. I can't be the only one out there who has these. Dreams where the people you love die or come back dead. I can slip under pretty fast. I drop in REM quickly. I use to enjoy my dreams. They were interesting. And the sex dreams were great. But now I don't want to go to sleep most nights. I am tired of waking up scared or crying. I think I'm fucked in the head.
