My Friend...
Several months ago I got into a huge fight with a friend. I think the world of this person but we fight about everything and I am not a fighter. I had finally been pushed to my limit. This fight was the worst one we had ever had and all over me wanting him to have a nice birthday and me doing what he had told me to do. It was stupid and I know it and he does to. Several things came out of that fight though that made me think hard about the people in my life. Car Accident - Update! June 26th
June 22nd 2008 My son & I were in an accident with my friend & her son. We were hit on the driver's side. My friend was driving. Jaren, my son, was sitting behind her... he got the worst of the hit. His head hit the side window really hard. Splitting his eye lid wide open... and making him very listless. They couldn't stitch his eye up as he wouldn't stay still long enough and any infliction of pain had him crying. But wouldn't talk.. not a word. Just stare at me and cry. Talk about feeling helpless!! The seatbelt held him in hurting his neck & back but stopped him from flying out. His hip and whole left side is bruised pretty good along with his head. He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital cause he didn't want to stay awake and his arm was going numb. He is ok. They X-rayed and no broken bones - Thank God!!! We just got home a few hours ago. When I was 8 years old my grandmother went into critical care at the hospital. The cancer was eating her away and you could see her systems dying as the days went on. I was at the hospital with her every day along with my mother for 2 years straight when she hit a roadblock. One night I was staying at the hospital by myself with her, I was 10 years old. 3. Iraq And Beyond
I just re-read my last blog. I am quite glad I found the patience to wait on the man who could meet my requirements. Now I have the great chance to exercise my patience while waiting for both of our tours in Iraq to end. He is currently deployed, scheduled to come back from Iraq when I'm scheduled to get there. I was fortunate to spend time with him during his two weeks Rest and Relaxation (R&R.) The man is wonderful. Besides being insanely gorgeous, he's a good man, a good father, and a good soldier. And I must say, so far a good boyfriend (and I don't see that changing.) I have been talking to him for almost a year as a friend, more so since January. In the last couple weeks I've gone from being his friend (with a huge crush) to being so much more. He has four amazing kids, and my three adore them as well as him. It is fitting to reflect that 36 years ago the City Boston lost nine men in the line of duty on Commonwealth Ave and Dartmouth Street after a three hour firefight when without warning a sudden collapse took the lives of nine of Bostons bravest. My Mom
As most of you know that I have been dealing with a lot lately. My grandpa has ALS (lou gehrigs disease) my mother has also been sick. We have been going back and forth to the doctor. For a while they didnt know what was wrong with her. They have finally figured out whats wrong. She has primary biliary cirrhosis. Shes in Phase 3 right now, there are 4 phases of this disease. They say she has about 5 years till she enters phase 4. Phase 4 she goes into liver failure and at that time they can do a liver transplant. From what I understand the transplant will give her a new liver and she will be healthy again, but theres still that chance that it wont help. Even if it does help the new liver can still get it but that will prolong her life. 5 Cups Sugar 4 Cups Apple Juice Red Food Coloring (optional) 1 Box Pectin 1/2 t. Butter Boil jars on rack in large pot filled with water 10 minutes. Place flat lids in saucepan with water. Bring to boil; remove from heat. Let jars and lids stand in hot water until ready to fill. Drain well before filling. Measure sugar into separate bowl. (Scrape extra sugar from cup with spatula to level for exact measure.) Measure juice into 6- or 8-quart pot; add food coloring. Stir pectin into juice in pot. Add butter. Place over high heat; bring to a full rolling boil. Immediately stir in sugar. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; skim off foam with metal spoon. Add blueberries and vinegar; bring to a boil; boil uncovered, stirring frequently, until a sauce forms and thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. To test for correct consistency, place 1/4 cup chutney in a cup; put in the freezer until it is cold, about 5 minutes. The consistency should be like jam.

ok, trying to make a long story short. my cat was supposed to get de-clawed yesterday but the receptionist took down the wrong information and we ended up leaving the vet's with all 4 sets of claws intact. fast forward to about 10 min ago. obviously my cat is pissed off cuz he had to go to the vet and get probed up the butt for no reason so he decides to take it out on me this morning when i tried to pick him up. the little bastard started flipping out and tries to pull a greg louganis style move off my chest. btw people, nipples are NOT a good spring board for such and event. the little fucker put an actual hole right through the top of my nipple. i'm not sure whether to rip his claws out myself or open up his own piercing shop? comments are welcome, jokes are welcome, pictures are NOT gonna happen :P

Peach Crumb Cake Mix in a Jar Peach Crumb Cake Mix: 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup quick oats 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 cups flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Layer the ingredients in the order given into a WIDE-MOUTH 1-qt. canning jar. Pack each layer into place before adding the next ingredient. QUARTERBACK BLITZ BARS 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine 2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/3 cup hershey's cocoa 3 T. sugar one 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk, not evaporated milk 1 cup hershey's mini kisses brand milk chocolates 1 cup heath bits 'o brickle toffee bits 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup mounds sweetened coconut flakes Heat oven to 350. Place butter in 13x9x2 inch baking pan; heat in oven until melted. Remove from oven. Stir together graham cracker crumbs, cocoa, sugar; sprinkle over melted butter. Stir mixture until evenly coated; press evenly with spatula onto bottom of pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Sprinkle with chocolates, toffee bits. DIRECTIONS TO ADD TO LABEL: Cookie mix 1 stick butter or margarine 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla Empty cookie mix into a large bowl. Use hands to blend the mix. Add the butter, egg and vanilla and mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with your hands. Shape into walnut sized balls placing 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Honestly Accounting For A Calculated Mistake And A Harrowing Week-end
It has been a harrowing few days because we had unexpected visitors on Thursday and they left today. The house was not tidy but it was sort of clean where it needed to be. Even the kitchen window got its face splashed. The visitors were he who has the compeetoe's sister and husband. The dirt does not matter too much to her because she cannot see well due to damage from laser surgery required because of her diabetes. That was a terrible time for her and it needn’t have happened if those in the know had listened to her in the first place rather than making her feel like an idiot and giving her tranquilizers/antidepressants. The Incredible Hulk
I went to see this movie last night. And as a fan of the comic books and the TV series, I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. Better than the Ang Lee version last year. First of all, the CGI. The Hulk looks much more like the one from the comic books. The fight scenes are well done and the interaction with the live actors is very well done. The story is much more true to the comic book version, with ties to the other comics. Its evident with Marvel taking over production of these movies that the tie ins between the films is much stronger than it was in the past when they licensed the characters out to the major studios. Working Bixby and Ferrigno into the movie was a nice touch. I look forward to see how they bring the hulk in with the other comic book characters, as was foreshadowed at the end of the movie.

I have been puzzling a nasty puzzle within my mind for about six months trying to piece together why things turned out the way they did. I sorted through the past yesterday and finally realized that some people will go to great lengths to get back with the ones that left them. Curent Events In My Life
Just a few notes on what has been happening in my life recently. I got a new job driving a rickshaw or bike taxi at sporting events, concerts, and in downtown Houston. I really loved my job and was enjoying myself until Saturday June 14, 2008 when I was hit by a car while on my way to an Astros vs Yankees game. I was injured and have cuts and scrapes on my torso and arms. I also have torn muscles and tendons in my right shoulder. I also have a broken rib and had to have staples in the left side of my head. The staples were taken out Saturday June 21, 2008 and the broken rib and muscle and tendon damage to my right shoulder are the only remaining injury for me to deal with. The doctors are telling me these injuries will take another 4-5 weeks to heal properly.

Last Night...
I haven't posted anything on here in a long, long time... so here is this. When i left the house yesterday at 6 p.m. i really wasn't to worried about how i was going to get home. I don't care if your friend back stabbed you, chances are you deserved it too. There is just no greatness left in this world, everything is measured by who you sleep with and where you work. Mya's Candle
Ok so here it is people, you see this candle burning strong all over fu?? well this is a silent prayer going out to a special little girl Mya! Her Mother and Grandmother are going through a hard time right now and this is a way of us showing our support to much loved friends! Mya's father is the reason for all this, He is a disgusting,cruel man, who deserves.. well i cant even say what he deserves He has admitted to abusing Mya. He was charged with a class X felony for aggravated assault to a child. He is looking at 6 to 30 years in prison. His bond was set at $500,000. The monster had caused bleeding and swelling on her brain, multiple fractures to her ribs, bruising to her pancreas, and fractures to both of her legs. Baby Mya is doing better now, although the doctors say she may have hearing, vision, and/or learning disabilities. Lets pray for the best, and hope she makes a speedy recovery!! & lets all hope and pray for that sick bastard to get what he deserves!!
