My son & I were in an accident with my friend & her son. We were hit on the driver's side. My friend was driving.
Jaren, my son, was sitting behind her... he got the worst of the hit. His head hit the side window really hard. Splitting his eye lid wide open... and making him very listless. They couldn't stitch his eye up as he wouldn't stay still long enough and any infliction of pain had him crying. But wouldn't talk.. not a word. Just stare at me and cry. Talk about feeling helpless!!
The seatbelt held him in hurting his neck & back but stopped him from flying out. His hip and whole left side is bruised pretty good along with his head. He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital cause he didn't want to stay awake and his arm was going numb. He is ok. They X-rayed and no broken bones - Thank God!!! We just got home a few hours ago. BOY is he every gonna have a 'Fun' birthday tomorrow. :(
My friend is ok and her son and I were just shaken up.. stiff from being spun around and the jar. I bruised my knee in there somewhere too lol
The car came out of no where.. hit us hard.. spun the car 3 to 4 times. I was already on my way to the back eat to get to my son before the car stopped spinning. So a bit stiff lol
BUT
We are ok :D Alive!! And Thank you for your prayers :D I was able to get ahold of a few but wanted to squelch rumours that are already starting that my son is in and out of a coma.. He is not in one .. he is home with me :D I have to wake him up every few hours to make sure he is ok.

Toda was my son's birthday. He was so excited fromthe moment he woke up to right when he went to bed a few minutes ago lol
We were at the chiropractor office all morning.. not a fun way to spend your birthday The doc there took more detailed reports and checked and treated my son.. (we have to go back twice more this week yet).
She then went to me and although I was pretty stiff.. Her touching my neck and back set off muscle spasms ... fun fun .. She took xrays and found that part of my neck there may be a problem. She checked with another doctor there and they took more x rays and sent them to a radiologist to get his opinion. Something about something being twisted and separated a bit... Oh what joys lmao :P
I've had a headache since the accident.. she said she can imagine lmao. She treated a few aches and such and sent us home with ice packs and a memory form pillow for me to use. severe Whiplash is not fun. So please keep us in your prayers... THANK YOU!!!
June 26th
Well the chiropractor didn't tell me.. but had shown me x-rays on Monday of my neck. She told me that there was concern in one part but has had me in a neck brace since Wednesday... and yesterday told me and my doctor after consults with another chiropractor that my neck may be fractured. We are still waiting on a report back from a radiologist. But they don't want to wait any more. I am being sent in for x-rays Friday morning again. If it is broke then they will tell me the plan then. Please pray it isn't! Thank you all
My son got a clean ill of health from the optometrist as well!! So I am sooooo relieved and happy with that. His neck and back are 80% better than the day of the accident. He is back to playing etc.. a bit restricted still but wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better. Thank you all!!
June 27th
NOT Fractured!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Can you do the happy dance for me ? :)
They did more x rays and a CT scan at the hospital this morning. The x rays were unable to determined but the CT Scan was!!! :)
I go to the chiropractor again this afternoon... they now get to do treatment for severe whiplash fun fun! :P
