Can I Trust You?
I just learned a horrible truth. It turns out that the one person,(which for protection purposes I'm not mentioning his name) has been lying to me. Everything he ever said to me was a complete lie. Spicey Butterscotch Snack Cake
Ingredients: * 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened * 1 cup sugar * 2 eggs * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1/2 cup applesauce * 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour * 1-1/2 to 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon * 1 teaspoon baking soda * 1/2 teaspoon salt * 1-3/4 cups (11-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S Butterscotch Chips * 1 cup chopped pecans(optional) * Powdered sugar or frozen whipped topping, thawed (optional) Directions: 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Well tomorrow i head to see the surgeon, finally after waiting for almost a year. I have a herniated disc in my neck, cervical kyphosis, and lumbar stenosis. Yep my spine is FUCKED. Im looking at surgery for my neck and probably on my back later on down the line. I hope for a soon date for the surgery and a speedy recovery. My neck has become so bad that I cannot stand to sit up strait or stand for more than a few minutes because the weight of my own head causes me severe pain. That is why I havent been on teh computer much cause i cant bear to sit for long.

Much More Effort Than I First Considered...
It has been a while since I have written... The reason behind it is I haven't been doing so well. This journey has been more than I could have anticipated. Wtf - Bulletins And Top Hourly Pix
I have a suggestion/request/plea with regards to 'BULLETINS' and 'TOP PHOTOS OVER LAST HOUR' sections of the site. Firstly, the 'TOP PHOTOS' is not a true reflection of whose pictures have been rated/commented on the most times, but just blatent favouritism and nothing more than a downright farce. The description in the FAQ section reads as follows: "How do you determine the Top Photos?" "The Top Photos ranking is calculated based on the photos overall rating, the number of times it has been rated, and how often it is viewed" Then, why are there a gamut of pix from someone who no-one has ever heard of, and below each pic it even states that views = 0. I Can Start To Breath Again...
**Just about there... this is from June 13, 2006** So today is the day, I have feared since I made an appointment with my surgeon a week ago... I have been scared that he would not be happy with the progress I have made. I went to the appointment this morning, and walked into the hospital (without aid), which I have never done before. The nurses at the desk were so happy to see me walking, as was my doctor. He has told me to keep doing what I have been. He has extended my time off from work - which who would complain about. He has also given me more exercises to work on. I had asked about surgery again, but he still feels it would do more harm than good. So, where does that leave me? Well, more physio, more work outs and exercises here at home. I have start going swimming which is a big help as well. I also have a family golf reunion that is coming up at the end of the month. R.i.p Zach And Dusty
I can't believe it. I heard about a wreck on Sunday that killed a woman and her 2 kids. I found out this morning it was my best friend's nephews and ex-sister n law. Those babies were 8 and 2. Dusy just a month older than my little girl. We (me, my best friend, her sis n law) were all pregnant together. I cant beleive those beautiful boys are gone. I'm so sad. I've cried all morning for their loss. I am heartbroke for My friend's brother who is bound to be in hell, and the 12 year old he still has at home who now has no brothers....what do you say to someoen who just lost his kids? No Turning Back Now!!
** this is an Older blog, (May 16, 2006), I'm slowly getting caught up.. I have finally taken the biggest step in my recovery process. I am no longer using my wheelchair in my house. I started this as of May 15, and it is amazing how much better I feel. I still can feel just how weak my legs are from the lack of use, but the more I walk the better they feel. I am still walking with about a 40-degree bend in both knees, which does not make things easy My physiotherapist has identified that the scar tissue that formed after the surgeries is what is holding me back in gaining extra range of motion. This scar tissue has had 3yrs to become very strong and not easy to work through. I hope that by being up walking as much as possible and with physio, it will be enough to start breaking through these blockages. I am also planning to ask my surgeon if an orthoscopic procedure to get into the knee and cut through some of the old scar tissue would be beneficial. I will have to

Im So Tired!

Life....
I just wanted to appologize for not getting to say hello to everyone as often as usual. We are trying to keep up with life! lol Besides the usual....kids sick...getting ready for the hoildays.... I have been helping hubby install the tile at our local mall at night, and passing out all day. (We have about 10,000 of the 24,000 sq ft done). Not to mention hubby was in a hit and run yesterday. He is fine, and he ended up chasing down the other guy. Fortunately we live in a small town, and it was easy to find him. Of course, his little toyota extended cab had about a 2ft indentation of our Ford F150 on the passenger extended part. Not to mention 3 of his windows were blown out, and the huge wave in the roof of his truck....oh yeah, it was also driving at a weird angle. I felt kind of bad, the guy that was driving was at least 80yrs old, and seemed like he didn't really know what was going on. Hopefully he won't be allowed to drive any more, for the safety of others. Anyway

another day of fussing with kids *pulls hair out* Well, it's another day of fussing and fighting with the kids. They are in bed but they don't want to go to sleep. Holiday Ruminations...
This Thanksgiving was a memorable one for me. So much to be thankful for. My family and our health is the most important OF ALL! Next comes my continuing coldness toward women. Christmas Tree
Who all has their christmas tree up? I do, I do... pic of it on my default album....I normally put the tree up the day after thanksgiving.. but I had to work this year, so we put it up last Sunday. I have a real tree this year....I have the artifical ones, but the last 2 years we had a fiber optic artifical one.. but I said.. "a real tree for me this year"!!!! Pursuit
It was like 8 A.M. when I heard the scanner squawking about a pursuit in the valley. The officer in the lead asked if he had permission to P.I.T. the suspect and stated that he was trained and certified in it, and was denied. The chase went on, the suspet lost the poLICE once and then was spotted again headed for the city. The chase kept going for I want to say an hour and finally ended in the city when the suspect hit another driver after losing the fuzz again. Then they ditched the vehicle a few blocks away. Still not sure if they ever found the guy or not. Later that same day, some time in the evening another pursuit. This time it starts in the city on the north side. As soon as they hit the freeway the commanding officer called over the radio, "permission to P.I.T." and it was on. Speeds about 60 I think they said light traffic, and they did it. If You Are Having Issues With Your Folders...
Ok For those that are reading this, you may notice that there is a problem with your friends and family not being able to see your items in your "Adult" folders. There seems to be a glitch in the system. There is a way around it until they fix it. Apparently the NSFW rank makes the folder a private folder for everyone except you. 1) Make sure ALL NSFW Photos in the folder are properly marked as adult AND NSFW. 2) Go to the folder options and remove the NSFW check. 3) You are all set. Collisiums to save social security — Wednesday, November 29, 2006 Ok, so we were talking about social security, and other social welfare programs today. My ideas are to put a flat tax, instead of a regressive social security tax. Right now, people only have to pay the 6.2% tax on the first 90,000$ they make. Having people pay the social security tax on all their money would help the social security fund out for later. On top of that, is my idea for collisiums. Old people could volutarilrly fight each other to the death, and the winner would get half the other persons social security check. How Time Disaperars
** this blog is older ( May 1, 2006), but it will show you what I have been doing..*** Wow, May is already here... time sure fly’s.... As for what I have been doing, everything is moving along almost as planned. I am gaining strength in my legs. I am able to walk longer distances and stand straighter while walking... (These are all good things). I am having troubles maintaining the added range in my legs that I am gaining in physio. This it the hard part to describe to someone who doesn't know what the situation is with my legs... In Physio, the therapist has to stretch out the Hamstring muscle because it has contracted. This is not a fun process at all, because the muscle needs to be torn to lengthen it. Once that has happen, the range that is gained is weak and won't be active until it is strengthened. Another long painful process. (Now that I say this aloud, what did I get myself into....lol) So, to help with this concern I will changed my rehab routine here at home

I Heart My Painting Teacher
8 am is very early for figure drawing. But now my class is made up. So, I asked Lee for an incomplete for Painting and explained my money issues. She offered to find me a board or canvas, so we took a field trip around the art department's storage rooms. No luck. So then she say if I have any raw canvas, I can just paint on that, I don't need to stretch it. Sweeeet. But do I have enough? We talked about it a little bit more, and came up with an AWESOME idea: Sew pieces of canvas together to make is big enough and work the seams into my painting. I'm so stoked about this idea. I Did It!
