Tattoo Shop
Working at the shop this last weekend was awesome! Makes me want to do it full time, I was even learning how to set up and tear down the booths! I met Troy when I was 9 years old. He was playing soccer at the time and I was just there watching. Some other kid hit me with a soccer ball and he got all upset about it. Ironing shirt before work = good. Ironing thumb in process = bad. Ouch. I don't get it. Our company has a warehouse/release program since we do name badges. It makes it easier for people who have a high turnover or who just need one badge at a time usually. To demonstrate how it works we set up a "dummy" program. Sorry, this is not a sex story. More of a rant. I have come to the conclusion that with all of the technology provided to us we have become less personal. Sometimes it seems that the normal courtesy of even saying bye is lost in the world of instant messaging and email. If you were on the phone or talking to someone in person, would you just walk off and leave? Would you not say bye? If someone walks up to you would you just ignore them like you aren’t there? How did we become so impersonal? No wonder our kids today don’t have any verbal communication skills or an idea how to act in a group of people. Too many times I think we over look things that are right there in front of us. We seek things that we never really want and for what purpose? Reflecting On My Life.
Most days I go through with this numbness. Its like that calm errieness before a storm. Once in a while, my thoughts that I try so hard to keep on other things, the T.V., the computer, slip through to places I avoid. well here i am again, dealing with the same old shit just different day.....lol well Cbelsey played her games last night. her team came in 5th. A few people who know me have heard the story about my screen name and why I have it. I did not pick the nick out, it was given to me. A girl I knew in High School that was nice to me first called me Kermit. I looked like a cute frog so she said. So let me bust it down: 1. Living situation-my lease is up 12-31 but because my credit is so bad i need to start looking NOW so i can save 2. Found a place but I basically have to come up with $2500 in the month of december not to mention its x-mas 3. My parents both have lots of medical issues. My mom has heart disease, my dad has more issues then I can talk about. but my mom can have a stroke at anytime and that scares me. Shes been under a lot of stress 4. My sister is having a baby and getting married. Her wedding is only 9 weeks away and its nuts. 5. My job sux 6. The Noises In My Head!
Ok...I have had it with life!!! Why is it that as soon as things start to even out and go well in my life thaht the rug once again is pulled out from beneath me. Finally I get my finances straightened out...Not rich by any means, but I wasn't in the red in my checking acct. LOL Until yesterday... Car needed unexpected repairs...and checks missed and all sorts of shit and...UGH... I may need to start prostituting myself...but dont think I would get much. Well... It's official. I am now 38 years old. Whoopie... As I write this entry it is just after 2pm. So far my day has been good. I went to see my daughter cheer at the pop warner football game. Which in and of itself is adorable because the cheerleaders are 6 & 7 yrs old and the players look like 5 yr olds with big bulky helmets and pads... very funny in a cute way. I am so sick of ppl that are supposed to love me crap on me. Everything is a double standard around here and I am sick of it!
