Life
I live each day with the feeling something may happen to me again. I never thought I would be a person to have to under go Major Brain Surgery. I would never think I would have had Seizures, from a Tumar. Never thought I would be a person to have had a Tumar. I am coming up on the 6th Month Since my Surgery that was on January 23rd 2007. I have a six month MRI coming up, and Kind of scared to have it done even though the Tumar was Removed Fully. I think the Feeling of knowing that something could Grow back, and what not Scares the Crap out of me. I live Each day Carfully since that Day. A lot of my Life was tooken from me. I hate being on limits but I have to be. I am in school to get my welding License; I think to myself that I need to prove Everyone that douts me Wrong. Everyone said it would take me 3 months to be back to normal, But I proved them Wrong. After being Home for a week after being Realised from the hospital. I was myself again pretty much. Hello Everybody!
My modem got zapped in the most recent thunderstorm we had and it has finally bit the dust. Now I'm waiting for aol to get their shit together and send me a new one. I miss all of you oh so much!!! Flank Steak Stir-fry With Asparagus And Red Pepper
3 Tbsp vegetable oil 1/2 lb asparagus, trimmed, cut on the diagonal into 1 1/2 inch lengths (about 1 1/2 cups) 1 lb of flank steak, sliced in half lengthwise (along the grain) and then cut into thin strips, 2 inches long and 1/4 inch wide 1 red bell pepper, seeded, de-ribbed, and cut into thin strips 2 inches long and 1/4 inch wide 2 teaspoons of cornstarch dissolved into 3 Tablespoons of water All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce 3 Tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp finely chopped, peeled, fresh ginger 1 small clove garlic, minced 1 green onion, including green tops, chopped 1/2 tsp chili oil 1 While you are chopping the ingredients in preparation, bring a small saucepan of water to boil. Parboil the asparagus pieces for 2 minutes, drain, rinse in cold water, drain, and set aside. Sesame And Cilantro Vermicelli Salad
If the heat of the summer is getting to you, this is a lovely spicy pasta salad for a hot day. One recent morning, on a day when the mercury eventually hit 105°F, I made this vermicelli pasta early in the morning and then let it marinate all morning in the fridge. By lunch time, it was a snap to quickly pull together. Honey Soy Dressing 1/4 cup grapeseed oil or corn oil 3 Tbsp dark sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper or chili powder 3 Tbsp honey 2 Tbsp soy sauce (less if using tamari which is more concentrated than soy sauce) Salad 8 ounces of vermicelli, thin spaghetti, or angel hair pasta Salt 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cilantro 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions 1/4 cup sliced and chopped red bell pepper 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds 1 Cook the pasta in a large saucepan in salted boiling water, according to directions on pasta package. 4 cups of mixed vegetables, for example: 1 carrot, peeled and cut into 2x1/2-inch strips 1 medium zucchini, sliced into 1/4-inch slices 1/2 small eggplant, sliced into 1/4-inch slices 1/2 red onion, sliced into 1/4-inch slices 1/2 bell pepper, any color, cut into thin strips 3 Tbsp olive oil Salt and pepper 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or herbes de Provence A sprinkling of garlic salt 1/4 cup of spaghetti, marinara, or tomato sauce 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, halved 1/2 pound pasta (use rice pasta for wheat-free version) Grated Parmesan optional pasta-primavera- 1 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil (for your pasta). 2 Heat oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. Son's Pride

Following Dreams
I am very ready to follow my dreams and once again return to the rodeo and start bullriding again. I have found an orginization here in Texas called the UPRA, who do local rodeos in and around Tx. This will be a great way to start my return to competition. It has been 7 yrs since i last rode a bull, and i will find out if i still have what it takes. Stuffed Peppers
2 medium green peppers 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 can (8 oz. ) tomato sauce, divided 1/4 c. uncooked instant rice 3 T. shredded cheddar cheese, divided 1 T. chopped onion 1/2 t. Stuff the peppers; place in an ungreased 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over peppers. Cover and bake at 350 for 45-60 min. or until meat is no longer pink and peppers are tender. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese; return to the oven for 5 min. or until cheese is melted. 2 servings

Update & Sassy's Surgery
Well, time for another update. My quest to fix my G.I. issues has been temporarily put on hold. I'm still having some problems, but right now most of it is being caused by stress. Not much the doctors can do to diagnose a problem until my stress level goes back down. I've been staying at my parents house for about a month or so now. I was having problems at home and I'm going through marriage councelling. That's all anyone really needs to know about that at the moment. In other news, my dog Sassy had to have another skin surgery. She came through just fine, but she's very sore, in pain, and tired. It was more complex than I had originally thought. She had a growth on her skin on her back (some breeds of dogs get them in old age) that she kept chewing on, so it got pretty bad. He had to make a very large incesion to remove it, and it was so deep he put drainage tube in also. The tube is scheduled to be removed on Tuesday, and her stitches come out in 2 weeks. I had a long crappy day but it would have been alright if I could have just come home and relaxed while listening to some music. I Strongly Dislike Dogs.
My moms dog has an ear infection. So now it needs medicine twice a day, and wash it once in the morning. It's literally shaking its own ears off the vet said. Evidently that's possible for dogs. The blood vessels in dogs ears rupture when dogs shake their heads too much, and with the ear infection she is doing all the time. I never liked the dog any way. My mom had to pay 140 dollars for the vet to say wash her ears and don't let her shake her head as much. And they want to see the dog again in two weeks and it will be at least another 70 dollars then for the visit. Now with that 210 dollars I could have myself a pretty amusing dog free rest of the month. All I am saying is she gives me the money, and I make the dog's ear infection go away.

Ok it is official, I am completely stressed out. I Had An Awesome Night Tonight!

Class Project Gone Wrong
An elementary school class started a class project to make planters to take home to their parents. They wanted to have a plant in it that was easy to take care of, so they decided to use cactus plants. The students were given green-ware pottery planters in the shape of clowns which they painted with glaze. The clown planters were professionally fired at a class outing so they could see the process. It was great fun! They planted cactus seeds in the finished planters and they grew nicely, but unfortunately, the children were not allowed to take them home. Cascade Failure!!!
Urghhh driving smivin... I didn't blog last weeks Driving Lesson because it was an utter nightmare! Driving Instructors bonus was I got him back here ALIVE!!!! I live about a 5 minute or less walking distance from the beach. Tonight I decided to just randomly walk there to see meteor shower. Didn't see any meteors though but it was just so relaxing. ngredients: * 3/4 oz Vanilla Stoli * 1/4 oz Chambord * 1 1/2 oz dry champagne * 1 1/2 oz 7-up * Splash of lemon juice * Pink-tinted sugar * Chilled martini glass * Pink grapefruit slices Martini shaker Method Place pink sugar on flat plate.
