8/12/2007 Dear Readers: Once more NASA decided to launch the Space shuttle Endeavour last Wednesday August 8th in a waning moon (negative) taking another chance on its seven-member crew heading for the international space station to perform assembly work, repairs and deliver supplies. Well as expected my quatrain for this window was very clear and denunciate my premonition of troubles once more. Today August 12, NASA gives shuttle's underside a close look to the gouge caused by foam and the astronauts will have to use the robotic arm, laser-tipped boom to check the depth of the gash. What amazes me is that our tax dollars, time and danger of failed mission could be easily diminished if NASA scientists would for once test my theory and realize how important it is for them to respect the “Universal Code” outside of their rigid scientific unbending minds. Chicken With Rice Aibonito (arroz Con Pollo A Lo Aibonito)
INGREDIENTS: 2 whole bone-in chicken breasts with skin, cut into 2-inch pieces 1 recipe traditional garlic dipping sauce 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 cup black olives, pitted and chopped 1/3 cup golden raisins 1/2 cup green peas 1 6-ounce jar pimientos, drained and cut in strips 4 cups long-grain rice 4 to 5 cups chicken stock generous pinch saffron, soaked in an additional 1 cup boiling chicken stock 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon black pepper1 Marinate the chicken pieces in the dipping sauce for 30 minutes. Drain and discard the liquid. In a skillet, heat 2 teaspoons oil, lightly saute the chicken pieces, and set aside. Heat the remaining olive oil in a Dutch oven. Saute the olives, raisins, peas, and pimientos for 5 minutes. Stir in the rice. Add enough chicken stock, including the cup with saffron, to cover the rice, and bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper. Reduce the heat and add the chicken. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice and chicken are cooked.

Cassava Chili (chili De Yuca)
INGREDIENTS: 3-1/2 pounds yuca (cassava), peeled and cubed salted water 2 tablespoons annatto oil combined with 1 tablespoon corn oil 1/4 cup basic recaito 1 16-ounce can whole tomatoes, drained, seeded, and chopped 1-1/4 cups tomato puree 1 cup tomato sauce 2-1/2 cups white navy beans, cooked 1-1/2 teaspoons chili powder 2 teaspoons salt pinch ground nutmeg 1 Boil the yuca in the salted water for 25 minutes. Chicken With Papaya (pollo Con Papaya)
INGREDIENTS: 3 whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned, and split in half 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons black pepper 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil 2 cups papaya juice 1-1/4 cups light olive oil 1 fresh ripe papaya, peeled and cut into slices, for garnish 1 Season the chicken with the salt and pepper. Mix the basil and the juice with 1 cup of the oil and pour it over the chicken. Marinate for at least 1 hour. 2 Drain the meat and discard the marinade. Heat the remaining oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Quickly sear the chicken on both sides. Lower the heat and cook, partially covered, for 15 minutes, turning the meat once. 3 To serve, arrange the chicken on a platter and garnish with fresh papaya slices.

I'm sure alot of ppl mighta seen today that I'm not in the greatest moods. Time has caught up to me. I go to court tomorrow, with a big chance of goin to jail for some time. I have had alot of loss in my life I lost my son in 2002 my dad in 2004 and my ex in 2005 but still have a hard time dealing with them being gone how do i move on ....I feel like i am and then like today i cry all day...just missing one of them or all of them...I want a life for me but the pain of the loss of each one of them makes it hard for me to open my heart to anyone....what can i do? love all my new friends too but know i have a issue with getting too close....hugs....Help me find my back to living...

Yay! I Am Gettin' There!
I have had a very interesting past 6 months. Things have been up, down and sideways for me. I finally started getting my life on track and it seems that it will pay off in the long run. I am headed in the right direction, and it is about time. For almost a year I let things control me that should not have had the chance. Now I have dealt with my demons, faced some fears and put a plan into action to live the life I want to live. And now I know that no matter what life throws at me, I am strong enough to face it, even if I have to do it alone. That took the longest to accept. But now I won't be facing anything alone. Ben & I are back together and I couldn't be happier about that! He helped me see what I was missing in life. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to do some soul searching and find out who I am. I'm happy with who I am and where I am at this point in time. I still have some growing to do, but I think that is a never ending situation.

Weird Horoscope
It's early and it's Sunday. For those of you who don't know, I've been off of work for the last 3 weeks due to a really bad car accident that I was in. Tomorrow (Monday the 13th) I will finally return to work. This morning I got up with work being the only thing on my mind, I don't want to go back. After having 3 weeks off with my kids getting up at 4am doesn't sound appealing. So I decided to come and check my messages and my horoscope and this is what it said.... Directness
Direct people are a joy to be around. We never have to guess what they're really thinking or feeling, because they're honest about their thoughts and openly express their feelings. We never have to wonder if they're with us because they want to be, or if they're there out of guilt and obligation. When they do something for us, we don't have to worry whether they'll end up resenting us because direct people generally do things that please themselves. We don't have to fuss about the status of our relationship because if we ask, they'll tell us. So a good friend of mine had her baby yesterday...I was there in the room with her when she had him...let me just say wow what am experience. I personally have no desire to have any kids but man it was such a beautiful thing. Well maybe not while she was pushing lol, she got kind of ugly right there but it was ok..she did a natural birth so I know there was a lot of pain. it was funny because at one point she was pushing and she kept saying "oh it hurts" and her mom turns around and goes "yeah but I bet you werent saying that when you were making this baby" lmao..that was just too hilarious...But it was an amazing day.. I keep wondering if there shouldn't be some kind of statute of limitations on how long your ex can make you crazy. I left him in December, the divorce was official in March. My Freaky Friday
Talk about a fucked up day! Here I was fresh from getting in from taking kids to school; rockin' out in Dirty Little Secrets Lounge and I get a call...It was the hubby calling in total hysterics! I couldn't really understand what he was saying. All I could make out was finger and fuck it HURTS! I got the jist of what hospital then as I was tearing outta my drive I got a call on the cell saying that he was going to a different one. With him calmer I was able to find out what has happend. He was unloading a truck of stainless steel and sliced a big hunk of his left index finger off and was bleeding alot! He's directing me to him when we realize I had caught them( I was 5 cars behind them) I thanked the guy for bringing him to the hospital. We walked right in and into a room! The nurse uncovered the finger and I almost hit the floor. Hubby had cut through both the epidermis and the dermis. Fortunately it wasn't to the bone and the skin and meat were still there. So, the next time I say I'm going out, and that I'm drinking before hand, please remind me (firmly) NOT to drink wine. I can drink 10 beers, SoCo and sambuca chasers, not throw up and still feel peachy the next day...this is NOT the case with wine. I woke up this morning plasterd to the leather couch, the remains of what used to be chicken (I think) and even more worrying...pantless. Well today pretty much sucked. I didnt get any sleep last night..and when i say no sleep...i mean not even a minute. So after i got home from taking my gram places she needed to go, my boyfriend left me go to sleep while him and our son went to my boyfriends sisters house. He was going there to mow her lawn and then he was supposed to come right back home to mow ours. He was supposed to wake me up when they got back. Well 6 hours later, I woke up on my own and they were just getting home. 5 Days To Go And Counting!

Hello all~ Just back from a long awaited, much needed vacation. I had way too much fun, and I am perfectly pooped out for my return to legal slavery this coming Monday, which seeems to be Friday the 13th this month. I must be more FUBAR than I thought. summer is at an end school starts up in two weeks, i get my texts book in one. and thanks to my brother i remember that my birthday is in one week as while. LOL i didn't forget i just did realize that the time is going by fast. while since i working to jobs and one of them is for calling center i kind of have not been paying attention to the time. I'm looking forward to school i'm taking 6 classes that equals 18 credits its going to be struggle but I'll get threw it. my only regret about summer being over is that i haven't gone camping or done a road trip.

Quick story...I was walking into my house this afternoon, wearing my usual comfortable clothes. Jean shorts and a loose fitting t-shirt. One of my neighbors stopped me, she said, have you gotten taller. Another neighbor said "You do look slimmer, what did you do?" I just grinned, and said been the same height since I enlisted. Well, in January, I weighed 202 lbs. I made a point then, that I would lose weight. I have done nothing since, Ihave worked out less, but more intensely when I do, I don't even do push ups or situps, and I have lost 30 lbs. I weighed myself this morning, after a couple glasses of water and breakfast, I weighed 172 lbs. I don't know about anyone else...but that put me in a danged good mood. That puts my BMI at 24.7. I am in the normal range. I am starting to feel skinny again. I love it. I almost think I am looking good. It just set my day up good all day.
