8 Year Anniversary
So for those who dont know, yesterday was my 8 yr anniversary. No its not a wedding anny or anything like that. May 13th, 2000 was the day that changed my life forever. However, im not sure whether good or bad. This is the first time that the day slipped by without me remembering which is nuts. I know yall are like "wtf are you talkin about?" I Need Input
I am going to try to word this where it doesn't offend anyone or cause any drama, but I need some input, and a blog was safer then a mumm. Have you ever found yourself giving all you have for others and just not getting any appreciation in return? Emotional Escape
Tonight, a restless night for me. Filled with unsureness, unawareness, and most of all, curiosity. My mind wanders away from me, where no laundry or movie watching can side track my mind. I have managed to clean my house, fold laundry, do my dishes, watch a movie 3 times now, and do/or gather all the trash in my home. It hasn't been this clean in forever! I still need to put laundry away, along with dishes, sweep and mop the floors, and scrub the microwave. But on the other hand, my mind still wanders. Omg The Chicago Bears should have gotten their ass kicked on Monday night Football but the defense and special teams came back to give the bears a chance to win. But the cardinals kicker missed a field goal that would have won the game! The Chicago Bears are now 6-0!!!! Have you ever wanted something for so many reasons that no matter how you think about it you always wind up with the same solution you started with. O want and need that in my life. Well I've been getting sick and tired of things and people here and I've been thinking. As of the 10th of December I will be getting rid of my VIP for this site. It has increasingly become less and less fun for me. My World
After long consideration and many talks with my kids and family I have made the choice to go for it and get my CDL. My kids understand why and have decided it sounds cool getting post cards and gifts from all the places I will go. My grandparents died from various forms of cancer, my aunt died of breast cancer and now my ex father-in-law is battling cancer - I like him it's my ex I can't stand. I despise cancer and I so hope for the day when there is a treatment or cure. I'm sitting here thinking about what he just told me - that he goes back in April to see how much it has spread. My heart aches and I am teary eyed but for my daughter's sake I will be strong for her when she learns of her grandfather's recent doctor visit. First Real Blog
Well I think that I finally found the love of my life but a really good friends told me basicly not to count my chickens before they hatch, So I am going to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I just wanted to update my friends. A few of you have been asking about my weight loss and working out.. I am still working out pretty regularly. I weighed in today I lost 6.8 pounds if the 30 I want to loose..I am happy about that. Slow but thats the best way. We made it threw Hurriane safe I think I may have said that already in a blog. He took me off one of my Siezure meds. Hopefully that will help my depression.(it can be a side effect of it). Nebraska’s Safe haven law Okay, so here is the way the law was designed: when a young mom, new mom, or a mom who can not take care of her newborn wants to just give up her baby, she can only if she knows that the baby is going to be harmed in anyway, hence not going to be taken care of properly. I guess first before a baby is taken, the mom will have to go through counceling and then decide if she wants the baby or not. When law makers designed the law, originally, though(in July the law was passed), it was meant for infants and not for the older children to be abandoned at the hospitals. However, they did say in this ammendment that kids under the age of 19 are eligible for this Safe Haven Law in Nebraska, so therefore, this leave open doors for those parents that want to just abandon their kids just like that. In the past 24hrs though, there were 11cases of abandoned children at nebraska hospitals though. The state legislature now is looking at trying to change this l

Real Life's Priorities
It breaks my heart to have to leave all my friends here...I've come back several times for a reason...and that was just to stay in touch with all of the very dear, true friends I've met here. I lost my dad last March and my mom has gone downhill very rapidly since then due to Alzheimers. United We Stand!
Back in 2003 I took my son on a trip to Japan and Thailand. If you remember, that was when they were having that big SARS scare. Everybody was telling us not to go or to be careful because of the SARS. Well, we came up with a great practical joke... I bought a few dozen of the painters dust masks, and everytime we'd take a photo, we would wear the mask. Soon I was getting everyone we met to wear a mask for a photo! It was great, looking at the photo's it looked like everyone in Asia was wearing masks. The only problem is that now that now all of our photos have us wearing the mask. The Story So Far.
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee. A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. Love Is Like An Investment
The closest analogy to being in love to me is like INVESTING MONEY. Most people invest money for the long haul.....they dont throw $1000 into the stock market on Monday and move it on Tuesday just cuz the stock went down. Most people leave the money in for TIME and see what the market does and even with the UPS and DOWNS usually if the investment was a smart one in the beginning they come out on top. To me LOVE is the same way. It changes daily....sometimes up, sometimes down, but the good smart investor IN LOVE, his profit and goal comes to fruition when YEARS down the road his goal was met with a LIFE, LOVE and a FAMILY. To me the HEART and LOVE is the GREATEST THING ONE PERSON CAN INVEST IN ANOTHER...and just like the stock market it comes with RISKS.....it all depends on WHAT AND HOW MUCH YOU ARE WILLING TO RISK TO GET WHAT YOU TRULY WANT MY GOAL IS HAPPINESS AND WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO COME BY AND WHY ARE PEOPLE NOT WILLING TO WORK THESE DAYS FOR LOVE!

Ok I am sorry. I am in a bad mood tonight because my car was broken into and my GPS was stolen. I am writing here because it helps me get it out and maybe not be so upset. How could someone do that? Shrimp Scampie
1 (4 pound) chicken, cut into pieces 2/3 cup all-purpose flour salt and pepper to taste 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 cup sherry Put the flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a brown paper bag. One by one, coat the chicken parts with mixture. In a large skillet, fry the chicken in 1 inch of hot oil until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and drain the oil. Put the chicken back into the pan and cover the pieces with cooking sherry. Cover the pan and reduce to simmer. Let simmer for 20 minutes. Serve. 2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined 1/2 cup butter, melted 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup dry white wine 3 green onions, chopped Preheat broiler to 500 degrees (260 degrees C). Stir shrimp together with butter, garlic and wine. Place on a baking sheet and broil for 10 minutes. Sprinkle on scallions and broil for another 2 to 3 minutes, until shrimp are firm. Serve hot.

I dont think anything can surpass lat years game. We had been in the hosp with cj from jan.4th thru feb 2nd. All he wanted was to come home and see the superbowl, his team the Colts had finally made it to the big game. Well on this day last year he got his wish and they let us bring him home, with the promise we had to be back up to the hosp everyday the next week for radiation treatments. As it should be the Colts won and gave him the best present ever, he was sooo happy even just for that moment. 1 package (1 lb 2.3 oz) Betty Crocker® fudge brownie mix 2/3 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules or crystals 2 eggs 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate fudge instant pudding and pie filling mix 2 cups cold milk 1 bag (8 oz) toffee bits 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed 1. Well as I sit writing, yet another lounge is hitting the ground bleeding out begging for life.
