My Life Right Now
yea i have two weeks smoke free. I am so proud of myself. i was able to get a handle on the dreams but i had to start taking some herbal supplements. i am taking Valerian and melatonin. they are to help you sleep and the valerian is for stress aswell. i think that is the one helping me with the dreams. anyway. i hope this little blog helps someone else to quit smoking. oh and i have to tell you. i smell great! i know that's a funny thing to say but i don't smell like smoke anymore. i still smell my perfume at the end of the day. my hair smells really good too:D Yea for me! Why Post Them At All?
I am still fairly new to Cherry Tap, and maybe I am just missing the point, but I am very confused about something. There are a lot of people on here that post photos of themselves, or whatever the hell is in these albums, and they are entitled "Only for me," or "For my eyes only, don't ask," or Only I can see these" and the albums are marked as Private. If the posters of these photos are the only ones who will be able to view the photos in these albums, why bother posting them at all? I may sound like a horny, pathetic man, but that is not the case. I just do not see the point in posting pictures on a friend site where everyone looks at the pics that you post, and then pick some of these photos and decide that nobody else can look. If they were that damned private then maybe you shouldn't post them at all. It's childish Mickey Mouse bullshit. The last time I looked this place wasn't called the House Of Mouse, it was called Cherry Tap. Just an observation.

It is a long time since i had a chance to do a proper update . The new job is going very well and I'm really enjoying getting my teeth stuck into it, we have a great team in Hillary and myself and we are turning things around. Ok so I recently purchased a G1 Transformers DVD set (had to get it cause it's from my childhood and the original cartoon series is still the best) anyways the said DVD set was unfortunately formated for region 2. So I contacted the local electronics stores and asked about multi region DVD players. All of the stores (Major electroinic stores not wal-mart) have told me that over the last 5 years they have had several requests for MRDVD Players nationwide and do not have any in stock, on-line, or available to order. TWO PATIENTS Boy, if this doesn't hit the nail on the old head, I don't know what does! Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement. The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week. The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery scheduled for a month from then. Well I finally saw my surgeon today and he wants to use a cadavers tendon. I hope it's a good one. He says they do that so they don't have to do more surgery on me and the healing time is alot faster. I also found out I'm going to lose my job after my short term disability runs out and my 30 personal leave, but will get hired back after I heal up. Which sucks ass but I'll survive. At the pressure and insistence of others, I have begun baking from home again as means of boosting my income. I think I must be crazy.... I have no dishwasher, but friends will not be dissuaded. My Vacation Week
Well the week started good, the weather was nice, and we really had some good days to get alot accomplished, then after a few days it turned cold, and couldn't finish what we wanted to. Hubby worked on my car and got the back shocks, transmission boot, and the front disc brakes done. The only things he has to work on now is my water pump, radiator, and head. He also got his new truck!!! We had that towed to our house and he got the part it needed, which was the control arm that hooks to the I-Beam and the tire. That took one whole day to get done, taking the old one off was the hardest cause it was bent really bad, but putting the new one on was easy! We had a good week together, got a lot of the things done that needed to be done, still have so much more. Wrecked Truck! My Blazer Monologues
Looking at the photo's of my wrecked Blazer, I still cannot come to grips with how I managed to be alive, and with no serious injuries. How do you flip twice, and still be here? Of course, I am a hurting unit..thats not to say I didnt suffer any inuries........My seatbelt was on.. but I dont think thats the only reason why. Just who was in the truck with me? Thnking About Being Adopted
Been thinking lately about the shock I felt when I found out I was adopted. Kinda hard on the system, when you live to be my age, and find out. I found out after both my adopted parents had passed away. My brother knew and had made a promise to my father that he wouldnt say anything until both of them were gone. I wonder why? Did they think I was that fragile, that I couldnt handle it? Yes.... they were right... But, I think I could have handled it better if I was told when I was a child, and not an adult, who now has no life history. I mean, who am I know? I am not the person that I thought I was/am??...Un-nerving to say the very least. Dreams
This dream bother Doug when I told him about it since I was still pregante at the time. I am laying in a room loungeing on a bed, when my eyes open. I watch Doug walk up to me, in his eyes I see a tears shinning thru his dead eyes. In his hands he is carrying a small black box with golden swirling designs on it. My hands tremble, my head shakes in a silent plea of no. Slowly he lowers the box and inside, i see the edge of a snow white blanket and a small limp hand clutching it. I wake up.... My daughter was born June 10th, 1998 weighing in at 8lbs 2oz. She was so beautiful. She was a very happy and healthy little girl for the first 10 months. April 17th 1999 we were sitting at home and she started having a seizure. I was only 19 had no clue what was going on. So scared. She wasn't breathing. She was taken to the local emergency room. They found ot she had aspirated during the seizure (vomited and it went into her lungs). Then they had her life flighted to the nearest childrens hospital. At this hospital they find bleeding in her brain. As a young motr i am sitting there trying to remember if she hit her head hard on something or what, when a Dr. comes to me and her father telling us that she has shaken baby syndrome. Talk about shock. I am the one taking care of her 24/7 and these Drs are look at me like some murderer. They get children services involved and telling me i won't get my daughter and stuff. In life we take breathing for granted. I don't! The simple reason being is that as most of you know I have a mechanical aorta valve! When I was young I thought I was normal I played around like any kid would. When I was older I started having problems. Being that I was born with the problem I thought it was normal! I couldn't breathe right and I had severe chest pains every so often (but not enough to make me wonder if something was wrong). It realy hit me one day when I was working for a meat company. I had a bad chest pain and had to literally drop what I was doing and wait for the pain to go away. I've had them in the past but this was the worst! My stupid ass thought this was normal. I had to go for a physical to get my CDL. The worst felling you ever have is the one when the doctor says to your face you are and I quote "fucked up. you need open heart surgery." I have never been so scared in my life. something always goes wrong. I didn't want to die!! My family didn't believe this
