My Grandson Tristan =0)
Wow.. I cant believe its been almost 2 weeks since my daughter Krystal delivered her 1st son, Tristan Blaine Engelbach, He is such a good baby, she was so very lucky to get a son, just like her when she was a baby. He isnt a cryer, needs so little attention, but of course he is spoiled already. When Mommy and Daddy arent Holding him, its Grandmom, Great Grandmom, or Aunt Kate or Kristi anna. He spends the weekends with Mommy and Daddy, and during the week, Mommy brings him over to see Grandmom, and Great Grandmom,& his aunts. I took my math final today. I hope I did well. I'm pretty sure I did good enough to pass. It just depends mostly on the stupid arrithmatic errors. Tired Of People Complaining?
Where ever you go someone is always complaining. Whether it be about their self, their life, or the places they go. Alot of times no one really wants a cry baby around. You see those people that whine about everything really need to take a good look around and realize that there is alot of other people in the world thats got it worse than they do.....I have been around people that complain about things they need and basically cry because someone else wont get it for them.....Here's how u solve that..if you don't have a job-get one!-then buy what ever it is you want. Then you can say you earned it. Life is just to short to sit around and listen to someone who can help their self....The value of a dollar can teach u whiners a couple of things, but so can someone who is tired of hearing complainers. Any way you look at it, don't complain about the smallest things, take a look around you......someone else needs the attention.

Relationships
Relationships are very hard to maintain when its all one sides. But when you fall you fall hard and whats that old saying about love being blind, I believe it is true. I realized this week that pushing leads to shoving and shoving leads to being single again. A shitty position to be in but hey thats how life works. Pushing people away is not my style, but when pushed I do shove back. Its no wonder im 25 single and have no kids. Yet another day of life!

Why I Was Going To Leave
I was going to leave CT not because of any of my friends or family on here. You all are the best and I am glad to have great people like you on my friends list. I know. I haven't been on much in quite some time. Part of it is I am just not as interested in staying logged into CT. Not sure why. My livejournal seems to have more of my interest lately. Other than that I did manage to get a semi-promotion at work. I'm now doing marketing instead of customer service though if someone is out I'm happy to fill in. Patio Office
Earlier today, I moved most of my plants out to the patio so they can enjoy the summer sun and the fresh (albeit polluted) air. Then I went back inside, and my dining room--where I normally work--seemed empty. Lifeless. Feeling jealous of the plants, I moved a table and some chairs out to my patio so I could sit here and, ostensibly, work. I have my laptop, a beverage, some cigs. This should work, no? I wrote about a page. Now, I'm watching cars drive by. Watching my neighbors come home from work. Watching people walk their dogs. And watching my cat stare at me from out the window, pissed that I won't let her outside to play in the street. And I'm writing a blog. I don't think this new office setup is going to work. Please keep in mind that since this is for "real" and not some gimmick , that we cannot guarantee it will work. We know that it will work with most cats and it has a 85% success rate. I never thought in an instance that even though I am in Criminal Justice that one of my own children would be a witness to something terrible that would be with them for the rest of their life. I know that America's public education system leaves a lot to be desired. That's me being nice about it. I don't say this because I was a product of that education system. I was Catholic school educated for 15 years. I say this because I am a working member of the Public School System. Perhaps I would have done better in college if I had been home schooled. Perhaps if I just studied I would have done better, but would I really? What if I were home schooled? Ok, so maybe if I were home schooled I would have that full attention to detail laid on me. The hand print on the wall Body: One day as I was picking the toys up off the floor, I noticed a small hand print on the wall beside the door. I knew that it was something that I'd seen most every day, but this time when I saw it there I wanted it to stay. So last Friday I met my friend Tonya @ Eli Cannon's in Middletown (http://www.elicannons.com/) It's brilliant, and we love having the occasional tipsy girl lunch there... (30 different beer on tap, and the food is frellin' amazing) We both ordered Mexi-Cali wraps with sweet potato fries, and I had this Scottish hard cider that was sooo good. She opted for more IPA, and I opted for the fried cheesecake. OMG- it had a swirl of carmel, and is deep fried in SIN it's that good. Daughters Grad Party
Well we survived my daughters grad party this weekend. We weren't sure how it was going to turn out since we did everything last minute as usual. It startedc off boring as usual, cuz it was family in the daytime. Then came the night and I ended up with about 150 kids in my yard, drunk as pigs and every bit of alcohol I did have was gone. That part wasn't so bad but when I ended up having some gang members from our rival city show up with guns, things were out of hand! They tryed starting all kinds of shit and here I was trying to be Mom, the boss, right, you know, the one in charge....lol. That didn't work out to well and the next thing you know I must have had the whole cities police department here trying to catch these kids. In the end everybody partyed and had fun till I threw them out at 4:00 am cuz I had to be to work at 9. What a great night it was!!!

At Wal-mart Yesterday
I went to Wal-Mart to get a few things.. I went up one isle and this group of teen agers was there, a couple of them started laughing. I ignored them , I don't even pretend to care about what teen agers find funny. One of them , a boy said loudly how my tan was all streaked and fading. I turned to look and the 2 girls and other boy he was with were giggling, so I said "That's pretty big talk coming from a male wearing a vagina pink shirt.". 1 boneless pork loin (about 3 pounds) Sea salt and freshly ground pepper 1 cup seasoned croutons 1/2 cup chicken stock 1 cup peeled, chopped green apples 1/3 cup dried cranberries 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted 1/4 cup minced shallots 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup 1 teaspoon minced rosemary 1 Preheat oven to 325°F. 2 Rinse the pork and pat it dry. Butterfly the roast by first cutting lengthwise about halfway through the roast. Then angle the knife and cut horizontally almost all of the way through, on both sides. Unfold the pork and cut tiny slits in the surface of the meat. Cover with 2 layers of of plastic wrap. Pound with a meat mallet to flatten as much as possible. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and set aside 3 Place croutons and stock in a small bowl and let sit for 5 minutes, until the croutons have absorbed the stock and have softened. Sunday evening, tomorrow off work, nothing particularly pressing to do in the morning, smoking ban now in full effect, so bars will be slightly less stinky, and who’s quit drinking?! Chili Chicken And Pasta
Ingredients * 6 oz. dried Angel hair pasta * 3 fresh ears of sweet corn * 1/4 cup olive or cooking oil * 4 small skinless boneless chicken breast halves * 1-1/2 tsp. chili powder * 1/4 tsp. salt * 1/4 tsp. pepper * 2 medium tomatoes, sliced * 3 Tbsp. lime or lemon juice * Lime halves and Snipped Fresh Parsley (optional) Directions 1. Cook pasta and corn in lightly salted boiling water according to pasta package directions. Drain in colander and rinse with cold water until cool. 2. Meanwhile, sprinkle chicken with 1 teaspoon chili powder, the salt and pepper. In a large skillet cook chicken in 1 tablespoon hot oil over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink (170 degrees F), turning once. 3. Well I know I havent posted anything in a couple of days but she is not doing all that well, she has been really out of it because of the new medicines they have her on. So it is really tough seeing her like this right now. They have decided to do one more round of chemo before she is moved on Friday, they say if they dont stay on top of it, it could get worse very fast. Bree is in and out of sleep, she wanted me to say thank you to each and everyone who has prayed for her, so expect some kind of gift from me for all of you who have prayed, it will take a long while to get to all of you but I promised her so that is my plan. Her new boyfriend (Dr. Mitchellson) continues to bring her cute little gifts everyday he is in. He even call her room when he is not in just to check on her. Aren't new relationships just the greatest. Everything is exciting still all you wanna do is kiss and kiss. Ok, so someone please explain to me how exactly you can go from infinately happy and hopeful, and then suddenly you are questioning everything around you. Seems like everytime I get my hopes up and actually get to a point in my life where everything is great, then all of a sudden that little piece in the back of my mind steps forward, and takes control. Then out of nowhere, I am questioning my own beliefs and thoughts. I know it all probably boils down to my own habit of self-sabatoge. You know.... things are just to good to be true, and why on earth should I ever truelly have happiness.
