It was a totally heinous week back to work, but since I didn't win the lottery, I had to go back. Too bad they won't just pay me for staying home all the time, but I am working on that too! At least I survived, and the eekend is here - time to catch up all the chores.
My grandson Jude made it through the first surgery and can now see with the one corrected eye. The other eye was scheduled to be done today, but no news yet. I am totally ragged out about that, but I always say, no news is good news. Bad news seems to travel fast. Thanks again for your thoughts an prayers, they do make a difference. I hope to have an update by Sunday or I will have to run down to Texas and kick some butt for sure!
Other than that, my life is good. The Captain & I are getting along so far, and my birdie loves having the kitties around. He gives them kisses believe it or not. They do look at him like "DINNER!" whenever I get him out of the cage, so vigilence is required. He's too old to care much about panic and being afraid. 26 years old is ancient for a cockatiel indeed.
Hope everyone is getting along, and life is good. I will try to be more timely in my visits once the world slows down.
