I have a love/hate relationship with auditions. Its a jungle in there as the saying goes. If you don't walk in prepared or without confidence your doomed! If you come in overly prepared and overly confident you are also doomed. If you come in, relaxed and have a go with the flow attitude, prepared but not overly so, you have a chance of landing your desired role. Now I know my strengths as well as my weaknesses. I audition a lot. I don't get cast for very many speaking parts except on stage. I've got an audition for a film this Saturday. The producer emailed me about it. Several months ago my daughter Sarah was with me at Bagel Stop and Book Nook on south Broadway and the book she wanted was a leather bound pocket English-German dictionary. Aug.9th, 2007 It’s 103o at 6:44pm, as I walk across the lawn watching the dog playing and running ahead of me I’m encounted by a thought and feeling of you and I that should have been holding hands at this very moment. well i'm normally a upbeat happy person with a postive outlook on life. but as of late i'm starting to get depressed feeling my life is fucking up and i see no way out it's bad when you think about buying alot booze and see how far i can take it. not sure why the change but i have to find a way around this dark and ugly place before it's too late. i have never really had many friends and i have a few now i help them out all the time and put on this i'm kool nothing can bother me face so they have no clue i'm feeling this way. i have make some really awesome friends here on fubar and i hope it continues you all are a big help and i love you for who you are. not sure what would help but if you read this and what to help or just feel like talking to me i'm here you can shout of mail me or yahoo me at hankstager69 i would love to talk ~hank

not a bad day at work. things didn't get to crazy so i feel i got a few things done, repaired and out of the shop. didn't have a whole lot of energy though. i think i'm more mentally exhausted then physically. i need to pick up the phone and call home to wish my uncle happy belated bday. i'm bad with those sorts of things, but i'm bad in general bout pickin up the phone and talkin to my family. i think a chemical flaw i got on my dads side.

I have no interest in self-preservation, emptiness is like an old friend. I have no motive or any inclination, of doing anything for any one again. I've been the patsy, I've been the fool, I've been the scapegoat, now all of that is through. Don't want to sit and wonder when the end is near, don't want to know where I'll be in 20 years. Because I bite the hand that feeds. Easy to call me selfish, after years of nurtured apprehension. I have no shame I take the blame, no more subordination. I gave up my self-esteem for a false security, and foolishly I chased that dream, that had to be force fed to me. I play no part in hope that dwindles, reality is such a change of pace. I see things now for what they are, and reality is such a different place. Nostalgia such a waist of time, so much life left to live. I can't dwell on yesterday, I gotta take as much as I give.

I don't know whether it's another Fubar fluke, someone reported a comment I left or if it's a competitor in the contest I am in, but I am totally frustrated at this point. Leaving you comments is very important to me as part of my almost daily routine. I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. Well after 10 years of protecting a family run business, they let me go yesterday. I understand business and profit and loss etc but you would think that working day in day out for the owner and his son they would at least have the fortitude, maturity and integrity to give me a weeks notice so I can provide for my family. It speaks volumes of what is wrong with companies and people in this world. I am just sharing this with you so you know what has happened to me and if I drop off the radar. It is NOT your fault or any reflection on you. I will be fine. I am not going to do dumb things or make poor choices. God is strong He has promised to protect and guide me. Now it is up to me to follow the trail that He is leading me on with joyfulness and thanksgiving.

On Aug 26, 2008 My great grandmother passed away. I just cant believe that it's been a year with out her. She was an amazing women she was the only one in my family that I could talk to with out getting bitched at for something. She was the only one in my family that I could trust. I do know one thing I will never forget how good of a cook she was. She was a cook for 59 years of her life. I will miss her and I know one day I will see her again!

August 10th is a turning point in my life. Me, my cousin Jenn and her friend Katrina are driving to Detroit to meet some men off of here! Woo hoo! Ok... so everyone that talks to me knows that we were planning to go out last night and mingle with the locals... lmao! we started the night out @ Benders in downtown Massillon... the car show was in progress when we arrived and the bar filled up quick.. So...I went to work at 7am to try to clear my mind before work. Got off...and headed home. I had a friend take me to the dentist at 1pm. I don't know when the procedure started....but I remember the long ass needle that hurt like hell goin' into my jaw on the left side. They start workin' the tooth out...and it's not a short process when pain shoots through my mouth. Yeah...not enough medicine...this happened 3 times on the left side. After they finish that side they told me to try to relax and I tried to clear my mind and even lied to myself saying it was all over. Then my arm starts shaking...slowly at first but it starts moving throughout my body. The only other time I've shook like that was after my first car accident in which my 98 tiburon was spun out on the highway tearing up about fifty to a hundred feet of guardrail and leaving the bumper yards away. August 26th 2007 Today was a little bit of a better day. I enjoyed myself in St. Louis, MO. today at a Cardinals game. They played the Atlanta Braves. August Finds His Purpose
Having just ended my brief career as a soldier, I returned to my favorite pastime. . . drifting. I was bound and determined never to settle into any profession again, but these things have a way of creeping up on you when you lease expect it. With little more than a years worth of freedom from the Army, I found myself enrolled in college taking an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) course. Well this was a long day, though I don't think it helped that I stayed up most of the night anxious about the internship mixer today. Now I'm honestly not sure why I went considering 75% of the information I received beforehand was wrong. Most All of the companies I did research for weren't hiring/looking for MIS majors. But you learn to make the best of the situation and then be glad for long lines(also it was insanely hot out so that gave me time to cool off from the walk over). All-in-all I felt like I made it out with at least a little dignity, didn't seem completely incompetent as people can do when left to randomly walk up and start talking to employers, and was able to possibly interest a company or two in me(I hope). In doing all the prep for this I did realize my GPA is insanely low thanks to one or two classes...the reading only or team based grade classes. Hopefully I will be able to balance achievements with grades this coming semester as I haven't been able to in the past.

ANOTHER HANDICAPPED WEEKEND (Lix is off work Fridays & Saturdays) Both ankles have been sore this week, not the awful piercing pain, but the awful ever present, if you move it hurts pain. Today, the physical therapist is supposed to help me learn to navigate the steps without going down them bump, bump, on my butt. Going down isn't as much a problem as lifting my body-weight to go up! AUNT HELEN'S MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER 6 slices bacon, diced 1 large onion, chopped 2 large potatoes, diced 1 bottle clam juice (8 ounces) 20 fresh clam or 2 cans (8 ounces each) minced clams 1 pound tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped 1 teaspoon salt freshly ground pepper 1/2 teaspoon thyme Saute the bacon and onion together. Add the potatoes and clam juice. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Dtir in the clams, with juice, if using canned, and tomatoes. Simmer until bubbly and sseason with with salt, pepper to taste, and thyme. Yields: 4 - 6 servings

A few weeks ago I started taking sights at the kitchen as my new territory to be conquered. I've never really had much intrest in the culinary arts but i've been watching that hells kitchen show and if those halfwits can cook semidecent food then i figuere i may or may not be able to bake a batch of cookies.
