Procedures Done!!!
Now the waiting begins...I just got my colonscopy and upper endocscopy done today... With the Upper endocscopy they stick a camara down your throat..I got severed GERD and Esphogitis. So they put me on something called protonix for that... with the colonscopy they put a camamra up your butt and run it through all your intestens and stuff...the found some polyps and they took some to do a biopsy on ..I hope the biopsy comes back well and not cancerous. We will just have to wait and see... so most of today I was pretty heavily sedated and it took me most of the day to let it wear off..it didn't hurt...the upper endoscopy hurt and i stilll have a sore throat from it but its all good and for a good reason... Just hope that biopsy turns out okay now.

I'm sitting here in front of the pc taking a break from my monthly bookeeping. Oh i hate doing this, i always put it off till the last minute. So i end up at the end of the month trying to hunt n peck my way thourgh balancing my books. I really have to get me a secratary to come in maybe once or twice a week to help me do this.But i keep thinking i can handle it myself...... Procedure Explained!
OK I met with the surgeon yesterday (Thursday)! He explained what is going to happen! This is basically a non-invasive procedure! It is called 'gamma knife' which does not require slicing me open (which is good, otherwise you are talking one slip up being fatal). This is a safe procedure, but there are some possibilities of backlash that are very probable (which I will not get into here). After the procedure, I will get a few rounds of chemotherapy and maybe one or two gamma implants (radiation therapy). My first one will be days after the procedure before I leave the hospital. If anyone knows me and what I went through the last time, you know as much as I'm not looking forward to it, I am gonna fight like hell! It's the only thing I can do, and I'm glad to have all the support!

You know I think it is really rude for people to go on someones page and not at least rate them. what is up with that? i mean wtf. that really gets on my nerves when people do that and it always seems to be the people who have rate me, fan me, and friend me on their page. if you want people to rate, fan and friend you try doing the same when you go onto someone elses page. I decided to change my profile again! Summer is almost here, so had to open the beach. Changed the music also. The only pain was dealing with the actual skins. call me crazy but i dont understand why some people fill their profiles full of pics and mark each folder "private" so no one can just view them without permission. Ive seen some profiles that have at least 10 folders and all marked private. Then ive seen some that have many folders and only a very few are marked private. I can see marking a few and asking for permission but every single folder that just seems nuts to me.

Recently I've been having problems with picture ratings. I will admit that I have given some people a rating of less than ten on their profile pics (when I've been on this site and clicked on the 'bored' button). For some people with pictures that are just dumb (ie: Nascar pics, gang signs, devil ducks) I have given a one ! Most of those people then get offended. They then check out my profile pics, examine them and rate them a '1' even if thats not the rating I gave them in the first place ! Very mature ! Sometimes I have received a shout asking me what my problem is ! For the most part I give ratings of less than 10 because I don't feel the pic deserves it ! I am not trying to offend people here or be mean but everyone has their own personal preferences. Someone might put up a picture of themself which they think is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting in the front row, holding the tip of my pen in my mouth and swirling my tongue around it sensually while looking directly at the professor he as you lectures. I have noticed that a lot of folks have recently been putting their settings to "comment approval". I don't know the reason for this latest idea, but I feel that friendship shouldn't need any approval. I hope that I don't offend anyone with this, but I won't be leaving any profile or photo comments on anyone who has this setting activated. I know that there is the argument that it keeps nasty or NSFW comments off of our pages, but it is very simple to delete them, or put our settings to friends and family only. The last thing I want is to fall out with anyone here,but as I said earlier, why should friendship need approval or vetting? What is the deal the last couple days? Seems like all the newbies are putting up Main profile pics of their teenie weenies. Then that's all they have in their folders. It's not like they are well endowed. These things are barely 2 inches long. Very pathetic looking. At least if your going to do it have some Real Meat hanging there to look at. My other problem is with people who can't put a REAL picture up as the Main profile pic. What are you scared of? Are you that ugly? Pathetic. Well, someone called me back for an interview! I was driving in my car when my cell phone rang, had to ask for a moment to pull over my car first. She asked me questions about my qualifications, etc., etc., and I tell her about all my responsibilities and previous jobs and how I can be trusted and dependable, yadda yadda yadda-- all well I'm writing down the details for the interview on the back of a receipt for a parking ticket I got last month. I don't know, I thought it was pretty funny when I hung up after the convo was all done. It was all I could find in my car to write on at the time. Well, interview's not 'till Friday. Seem to have miscounted the number of bars in the movement several times; have ceased to worry about it. When this is done, I'll have the length. And I'm getting closer. I think maybe 90 bars from, or so, now, being done - except for tweaking- maybe a lot of tweaking- out of a total of somewhere around 400. Just the one movement out of four, but still!

Just to let you know. Progress is slow as I seem to have enough energy for one day's worth of solid writing per week. However, Wealth, Women, and War: Surviving Globalization is at 82,315 words, and I have another 12 chapters to go. Three of them are long. That will take a week each. The rest are short and should take about 4 weeks. So my guess is seven week from now it will be finished. Give me a week or two past that to clear out the garbage and it will be ready to go to the editors. I would love to have this ready by July of 2008, but I can't say I am too concerned. When it is done it is done. This is my baby, for me, and when it can be finished it will be. I know ... I am having a weird affair with this one, but in a sense it is a bit of everything I know about everything. My epitaph on life for the last 50 years. That is where I am at with it. Yes, and too, I am having fun. Gotta find your chucks (chuckles) where you can.

Ok heres an update on how my grandmother is doing from my last blog (hell my only blog for that matter). My grandmother made it through surgery alright. They completed the triple bypass without any complications. When I left the hospital to come home for a lil bit she was showing good signs that she knows what is goin on around her (this is important cuz they are fearful she could have a stroke after having an operation like this). They said she seems to be breathing without the benefit of the respirator but she has to keep that in her until she can take deep breathes. Other then that its pretty much just a wait and see for the next day or so to see how she pulls through it all. We are hopeful to get her out of ICU by tomorrow but that all just depends on her really. The difficult part about her being in the ICU unit is the fact that the family only gets to go back there during certain designated times and only 2 ppl are allowed back at a time. Online and off, It's hard to believe that just a year ago my husband left me and wiped out my baank account. I've come a long way and still have so far left to go. I start a new job Monday doing something similar to what I'm doing now, I'm taking care of business like I should have been doing a long time ago. I'm halfway to my goal of my GED I passed my pretest with flying colors. I am very proud of my self and am going to keep pushing myself to go further.
