Prayer ... Kalebs Update
Wednesday, June 27, 2007 Prayer So much news. Kaleb is still doing pretty well. He is sleeping and snoring away right now. He is proped up on a Boppy pillow, he seems to like this posistion much better than any. Where do I start? They have stopped giving him the interthecal treatments as of Monday. They still have to have 3 negative cultures from the CSF before we are able to take off all of the isolation gear. But the infection is pretty much gone.I am looking forward to this day. His nurse today seems to think that we should be able to walk in his room with out all of the stuff on by tomorrow. YAY! They also clamped the drain coming out of his brain and started to constently moniter his Intercranial Pressure. This isn't going very well though... His pressure seems to shoot up to the mid 20's which is not good. This is an indication that he will probably have to have an permenate internal shunt put in that drains CSF into his stomach. The Nuerosurgeons have yet to

Prayers Needed
The last few days has been pretty rough. First it was my Mom, she was put in the hospital. I went up to see her and she told me there was some bad news... I have a 9 year old cousin they had found him unresponsive. They flew him to another hospital. Right now he has 3 different infections, in a coma, and having seizures. You can't even touch his bed without him having a seizure. Yesterday he had a seizure that lasted an hour long. One side of his brain is abnormal. They are suppose to be doing test on him today, they have to unplug the life support to do those test. All I ask is to keep him in your prayers. It just breaks my heart, he is only 9 years old. I just hope that he makes it through this...

Pray For My Mother
Last night my mother had a massive coronary , Luckily I was here at home. She is now in the ICU and not completely out of the clear as of yet. I never thought I would have to use my army training to treat my own mother, but it helped me to stop panicing and detach myself enough to help her through it. I stayed with her all night then all day, coming home tonight to grab some sleep, and am going back in the morning to the hospital. Please send any healing energies that you can spare. Love Amber

Bubba goes to the revival and listens to the preacher. After a while, the preacher asks anyone with needs to come forward and be prayed over. So few of you really know me truly so when i ask for prayers its because i truly need them. I'm going through a really hard time now. When i was 3 i was given up for adoption. i searched my whole life to find who my parents were. 8 years ago my mother found me and then I found my father. I met my father and immediatly was daddys little girl again, but it came with a hefty price, my father was addicted to crack, I took care of him and was there for him unconditionally until it was just too hard on me to see him slowly killing himself So i made one of the hardest tough love decisions i have ever had to make i cut ties with him because it hurt too much to see him killing himself over his addiction, my father and had spoken 3 times in the past 7 years since i had left and then he called me about 2 months to let me know that me leaving him the way he left me made him want to be clean off the drugs and that he went and got help, my father has be clean for over 6 months now its a start for

My little cousin who I spoke about in my last blog.. She went back up to the hospital yesterday morning, around 4am, the doctors never checked her, wouldn't even hook her up to the monitors.. She has been in A LOT of pain.. Indescribable, and the doctor said it was all in her head.. Well she got a very nice nurse at the hospital, and she checked her at 11am, and she was dilated at 4cm.. So her nurse immediately hooked her up to the monitors.. I arrived at the hospital at 11:45 and she was already at almost 8cm.. She delivered her baby at 12:51pm.. She had a baby girl.. Sadly to say, she didn't make it.. We aren't exactly sure what happened, because she did have a heart beat, while she was still inside.. Something happened during delivery.. Either she suffocated or she had a heart attack.. We wont know for sure what causes her death until we get the autopsy results back.. My little cousin was transfered to the ICU floor, where she has been listed in Critical Condition.. she is on a brea

A friend of mine's 7 year old daughter died today. She was hit by a car yesterday while riding her bike. The girl that hit her had no license, no insurance, no tags on her car and had just gotten out of jail. She had been drinking and doing drugs. She left the scene after the child was hit. Fortunately they found her and she is now in jail again. The child died at 11:30 today. The parents don't have the money to bury the child. Please pray that enough donations can be taken up to give this child the burial she deserves. And please keep her family members in your prayers also that they can make it through this hard time.

One night, a father passed by his son's room and heard his son praying. "God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma, ta ta Grandpa." She is at the hospital at Fort Jackson and she keeps blacking out. They are saying that there is a possibility she has gotten a hole in her heart, or just the heart muscles have weakened with the heat stroke. They are running tests including an Echocardiogram and trying to determine the amount of damage on her heart. She is basically going to get a medical discharge at this point after the tests. But if there is change, and it goes away then she can continue with Basic training an graduate on time. Right now though, they are certain she has a pretty bad heart condition now from the heat stroke. I wont know anything until she can get another call home. I

This 18 year old man use to babysit my step son 4 years ago for my ex and I while we worked. So it's been quite a long morning for me since they announced who's body was found. I just found out that my cousin goes for his parole hearing this next Tues. He's been before and not recieved a parole date. They gave him 5 to life and he's already been in for 7 years. His caseworker has stated that she believes that at this hearing he will recieve his date. My family and I have waited for so long for this not to mention his son will finally be able to know when his daddy is coming home. Hi, to those that know me... I have a beautiful dachshund named Laci. She is in my default pic with me. Well Wednesday night, we were playing ball like we always do, and she just dropped and started screaming. I ran to her and found that she had no control of her back legs. I ran her to an emergency vet and got her some pain medication. The reason she went to an emergency vet is because I was in Cleveland taking care of my mom because she just had surgery. After the emergency vet administered pain medication, I drove home 2 1/2 hours at 9pm Wednesday night. All night she just laid there in the basket I made for her and whined. I am so heartbroken. Thursday morning I took her to her regular vet and she was diagnosed with a herniated disk in her back. Chances are, she will be paralyzed. She may not be able to walk on her back legs again. The doctor will be keeping her for a few days giving her steroid treatments, in hopes that they will get the swelling down and hopefully she will recove

My name is Randy and I am Leeann's 16 year old son. My mom asked to me to send you all a message to let you know how she is doing. My mother is in ICU after a 2 1/2 hour ordeal in surgery. The doctors had to remove a tumor in her head that was causing bleeding. She is in critical condition and the doctor say they believe they got it all. While in surgery her heart stopped twice. Prayers Needed For Winter...
The more prayers.....the BETTER!!! I'm a little frustrated these days... As some of you know my daughter has cancer and we spent 9 days in the hospital and came home last Tuesday. One of the things they did to Winter while we were in there (in addition to surgery #13) was a bone marrow biopsy. Well the doc said that I should have had preliminary results back before Wed of last week.......I have gone through the entire holiday weekend with NO results. I may be over reacting a bit (and I am not claiming anything) but I am concerned!!! I did some research on MDS (caused by chemo/radiation) and I probably shouldn't have. After reading some of the signs and symptoms of the disease I worry because she has some of the same (symptoms). Some of the symptoms, the docs have no explaination for which is very frustrating! My hope is that all her symptoms are a mere conincidence. According to what I read, if she does have this type of MDS, not only is it difficult to treat but it can turn into l

We just got home from the doctors office and it looks like the biopsy came back that Winter does NOT have MDS at this time. There were a few things off but nothing to worry about. My 26 yr old cousin was found in a ravine yesterday he was in a hit and run with his motorcycle...he was not wearing a helmet and was thrown at least 60 feet...he is now in a hospital in Phoenix,AZ unconscious and is bleeding in the brain...they are saying he may not make it...he is however breathing on his own but they have him on a ventilator to assist him because he is unconscious. My niece Kylie is still doing pretty good so I'm THRILLED about that but now my friend Sarah who just had a liver transplant recently and had just gone home a couple days ago is back in the hospital tonight she sent me a text a little while ago saying she was on her way to the ER b/c she was realy weak and having trouble breathing, so please add her to your prayer list. Prayers Really Needed At This Time.
Yesterday - 2/18/2008, my Mom went to be with the angels of heaven (in her sleep) she was 75 years old. She had some health issues (diabetes, copd, chf) and will be sorely missed by family and many friends she has touch the lives of during the time God loaned her to us. It has been my honor to have had her as part of my life for 53 years. As some of you know, I have just started chemotherapy for chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (stage 4) and then this blow was dealt to me but she knew of this and just wanted me to take care (she knew last week) and said she would take a special message to God about it, little did I realize she would personally carry this. All I am asking is to keep me, my sister Linda and two brothers Steve and Ralph and their loved ones in prayer as we deal with the loss of this precious woman. I can't say it is a loss because Heaven is better off having the return of one of its angels. Much love to all, Wayne Penglase

Pray For Hunter....please!
Earlier today my baby boy Hunter had what appeared to be a siezure and stopped breathing on our way home from the park. I was able to do CPR and restore breathing before paramedics arrived. He was rushed to the nearby hospital where they did a CT scan and some blood work which all came back ok. He will have to see a neurologist this week for an EEG to check for epileptic activity. Today was truely one of the worst days I've ever had and hope to never have again! Please pray for my precious lil man and keep him in your thoughts. He is so younge and normally such a happily lil guy and this episode was absolutely horrible for everyone. Okay so I just got back from the hospital. My grandma is in the ER. She went in by ambulance at like 8a this morning with chest palpitations and high blood pressure. They have given her tons of meds and nothing seems to be helping much. They did a chest x-ray and found nothing. They did a ultrasound on her gallbladder and found a legion on her liver. That could be caused by the breast cancer that she had not to long ago. They said that they got all of it but some got in her blood stream but not to worry about it. She has been taking her meds for that. She is getting transferred as we speak to a Kasier hospital out in Irvine to go to their ER. After that then they will decide what they want to do. Praying For A Miracle
Well I took Zack to his pediatrician today for his swollen lymphnode. They put him on medication and in a week I have to go back and if its still swollen they r gonna do bloodwork. Leukemia is on the list of why its swollen but its at the bottom. I dont think I am strong enough to handle this. I am losing my mind. Id give my life for my son, both of them. All I can do is pray that the medicine helps shrink the swollen thing or if they have to do bloodwork it comes back as something more manageable. I cry and cry b/c I dont want my son goin through this. I feel like a bad mother b/c for 2 weeks he told me his arm hurt and I always thought it was his lower arm and maybe he slept on it wrong or fell, and when he finally told me it was under his armpit it raised red flags. Pray For Ice's Son
Her son was diagnosed with leukemia recently, this is what he is going through, from her to me On the 11th his lung collapsed then on the 13th his kidneys failed and he stopped breathing. He was air lifted to the St. Marys' Hosp which is part of the mayo clinic. On the 15th he was diagnosed with T cell Leukemia. He has to take 4 different kinds of chemo one of them is thru the spinal column which is very painful. And he has kidney dialysis 4 times a week. His kidneys are slowly starting to work on there own, until they do he has a chest tube in him to drain out the excess fluid around his heart and lungs. He will be here for at least another 2 wks unless his kidneys dont fully start functioning. Please let her know we are thinking about her and her son. ICE@ fubar

HE IS A LOCAL FIRE FIGHTER AND FOR MANY YEARS HAS DEDICATED HIMSELF TO WORKING FOR THE STATE OF VERMONT MAKING OUR LOCAL HIGH WAYS SAFE TO DRIVE ON IN WINTER. I have diagnosed with moderate cervical dysplasia which may or may not turn into cancer, I've been seeing a Neuropathic Doctor, to see if he can help me with all this. I just don't feel like getting my shit ripped on, they wanted me to go through a LEEP procedure which to me seems like the same damn thing as a Colposcopy so instead I'm trying to heal myself with natural means. Please pray for me in the hopes that this Neuropathic Doctor can help reverse it back to normal. I have done alot of research showing they have done so with many things such as vitamins to build up the immune system to fight the abnormal cell growth. All in all lets just all hope & pray that this will work, cause I'm not looking forward to them ripping on my cervix & or having any other invasive procedures done! Wow! Whut a way to start a weekend! :( Well first of all my 92 yr old NaNa passed away a few hrs ago. She had a mild stroke several days ago and has been in the hospital since. My youngest daughter, Jessi, is having problems with her pregnancy. The doctor is thinking of inducing labor friday, depending on some test results, or at the latest, next week. Ok everyone, I know alot of you know Cali rain some of you dont but regardless she needs our prayers. She was put in the hospital almost 2 weeks ago. The doctors dont know what happened but she has lost her memory completely. Her son told me last night that she is starting to remember small bits but that is it. I have a sister who was diagnosed with liver cancer in 1989 and was given 9 months to live. Her doctor told her about this this doctor who was doing experimental liver transplants. She was one of 8 patients to receive a liver transplant. they removed her pancreas, spleen, stomach, small intenstine and transplanted a new liver into her. she is the only survivor. in 20 years she has been through alot but has always managed to pull herself up and keep her faith in God. recently she has been put on dialysis and has been very depressed and tired. today she would up in the emergency room because her blood pressure dropped and she was having problems breathing. of course it is difficult for the doctors to take care of her, since she is a miracle and no one ever expected her to live this long. please keep her in your prayers. she is a wonderful person who was able to get through day by day trials from her faith in God. always saying that this is her cross to bare and thinks ab

Wednesday morning my Dad was injured at his work. Mom called me about 730 in the am and said we needed to get to the hospital. Dad peels carpet padding and his machine broke and while he was fixing it it caught up his hand and crushed it. He bled lots he said and thats bad for him to say! They were stitching him up once we got to the ER and then they took him for xrays. Once they got the xray back the doc came back in and said we have to put the IV back in and admit you. He crushed 4 carpal bones. It took them about 9 hours to figure out what to do.. and that was to transport him to columbus because the ortho doc from our town said they couldnt even begin to fix the damage done. So the ambulance came and got him there and surgery ended up being about 2 hours and 8 pins in his hand later. He came home from the hospital today with the doc saying it was a very severe injury and the pain was going to be terrible, and short of stopping him from breathing he was gonna hurt like he

When we got him to the hospital his oxygen was low they said if he didnt go to the hospital when he did he could of been dead.. he was released from the hospital and we had along road of us.. hello all a lot of u don;t know me or now about my condition have copd which is chronic abstructive pulmonary diease. i have this for a year now. I went to the doctor today and he said that my breathing level went down meaning my lungs are getting worse. He started me on some new treatments but he said it is only going to get worse for me. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. This is a prayer I say quietly to myself each morning when I awake. It is one I have known since I was a child, but as I get older and wiser it has taken on a whole new meaning. When I was younger I thought I could change anything or anyone. Now I know that I cannot, but I still seem to try. Prayers For My Brother
I'm coming to you all tonight with a very sad heart. My brother,,,Tony, AKA Hydrovamp to his fubar friends was in a terrible accident on his job today.His right thumb was completely severed from his hand and almost all of his right index finger. He went through about 4 hours of crucial surgery. The doctors were very skeptical they would be able to save his thumb, but luckily both fingers were re attached,,at least to some degree. He still has to forego many surgeries in the very nearfuture before all is done. Please, I am begging you,,please keep him in your prayers. He has a wife and 2 very young daughters and I'm sure you all know this could take a toll on his family. Prayers Needed Please
My 14yr old son has to see a lung specialist on Oct 8 ....I need lots of prayers for him that whatever is wrong with him can be treated easily..his regular dr did exrays on him and they found some sort of black cloudy film over his lungs....(he was dead for the first 10-15 min when he was born) so he is a real miracle for us.

For those of you who know me well.. you will know that I have been suffering with high blood pressure and lots of headaches. I have been on blood pressure medicine for two months ( I just got health insurance) ... with each time her upping or changing my meds... my BP is just uber stubborn.. it just wont go down. I've also had these other issues lately.. like at times I feel like i'm going to die...especially if there's a thunder storm or if i'm in the car and someone else is driving... horrible horrible anxiety... and not to give u a disgusting image in ur head but i sweat and have cold sweats alot..thought i was going thru the change... Long story short.. I am being tested to see if I have Pheochromocytoma. What is that you ask? Its a rare tumor that forms in the core of an adrenal gland .. and go figure the top symptoms are: unmanagable BP, headaches, anxiety/doom feeling and sweating. I had to do a '24 hour urine collection' and they will determine whether I need further

This past Tuesday, Nov. 17, there was a terrible accident here in my home town of Houma, LA. A crane at EBI ship yardbroke loose of its pedestal and crashed into a building. Inside that building were my brother Adam LeBouef and my brother-in-law Heath Perkins. By some miracle when the crane crased something fell and hit my brother and through him back, This saved his life. Unfortunately my brother in law was killed. A beam feel across his body causing major internal injuries. He left the shipyard alive and died about an hour and a half later. He and my sister have a 1 year daughter and she is 12 weeks prejeant with their second. When things like this happen you realize just how important life is and the people in your life are. I am most grateful for my husband and my children. They are my life.

Prayers For Inspector Noodles... (pics)
It's been a harrowing life, and a particularly harrowing week.Introducing: Inspector Noodles One of my two adopted pugs; He just turned 6 years old. Last week he had trouble peeing. He was eating and drinking normally, but for whatever reason he just couldn’t go. At night it was a little hard to tell if he went or not because of rain or dew on the grass, but the following day (Wednesday) he was noticeably bloated. That night we took him to the emergency room at the animal hospital nearby. They couldn’t do all the tests they wanted to do because you need to pay out of pocket for these things, and I only had so much. My whole family is living paycheck to paycheck and with a close member of the family suffering with a life threatening illness over the past year, we are very financially strapped. That being said, I used my own money that I had set aside for my own health (needed medications) to pay for Noodles tests, as much as I could anyhow, I emptied my bank
