To follow up and hopefully complete the "frustration" topic of discussion. Today is about profiles and how much I miss reading yours.
With said problems mentioned in my first two blogs ...
(for those of you who might of join this in progress: my computer sucks and I get booted attempting to open most every page "Lost Cherry" has to offer)
Well, the thing I miss is reading peoples profiles (assuredly I'm not the only person who still likes to read those things -- Am I?) Although in today's aesthetic loving world, some people opt to jump right into photo browsing and skip getting to know the person.
Me, I'd rather see a great profile -then- if they seem interesting *rate* the profile (tens only) fan them if indeed they have something - somewhat entertaining or interesting about them. Then I move on to the photos.
My point today is: I wish that I had that ability to go to more profiles -yes- ... but the latter part is what I wish more people would share as well.
I 'auto-add' friends (you have to just to level up) so, I'm not going into too deep on that silly subject ... this is more about profiles and those points (rating given) Out of all the superficial and artificial things I don't agree with here on this beloved site ... the 'auto-profile ten' that most people distribute. Come on ... 99% of the people will WELCOME a new member in this form:
Hi Welcome to "Lost Cherry" (blab-bla-blaa) "here's a TEN (profile) to get you started" ...

Now the person has nothing to shoot for ...
They (yes and I've seen it) could very well have this on every section of their profile:

Wouldn't you rather give someone a -TEN- for a nicely expressed and creative & fully thought out profile? Of coarse, but I find it so demeaning -- having only 290 profile TEN's for an entertaining one.
Then I'll see someone who has something like:
I lke cute boyz n gurls bof - hit me up sumX lol
That will have 678 profile TEN's! really - (that's a quote) actual score too!
With that I've gone full circle ... That profile was what most would say on some aesthetically pleasing young lady.
How about a new 10 to give?
