Now stuck in wheelchair, leg looks like a match stick, cant walk on it in fact can only walk with crutches or frame (omg no!) well today sucked, how bad here it goes: woke up at 3 am to go to a detail to take some ppl to green ramp, sat in the truck for 6 hours to find out that they actually never needed the truck, thanks for telling your support you bunch of colostomy bags. had a small cold that flared up this morning when i woke up. including headache, severe coughing (which would very closely make me vomit), could not breathe, the list goes on. was tired as hell so i went to the shoppette on post grabbed 2 NOS energy drinks and slammed them and went to work...2 of those energy drinks is a little much, felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest...but i was awake :-S. got home at 6 pm and went to sleep until just recently (8pm). felt like i slept 12 hours. decided my friends from fubar would help make me feel better, so i sit down at my computer type in my password and my keyboard slide breaks off of my desk...think i may just call it a night and try to sleep off the rough day.

At this time I am back in the military but this time Army National Guard. I've been accepted to Officer Candidates School and am working on getting in shape for them. I haven't been this physically active in 6-7yrs. But I've also never been this strong before. I may not run as fast as I used to but strength wise there's no comparrison on what I can do. I'd take a pic and not be emabarrased now but still show a lil spare tire. Oh, the 2-2-2 is the push ups Army for most push ups in 2 min, sit ups in 2 min and 2 mile run. Right now it's 68 push ups, 54 sit ups and 16:03 mile. My two mile 3months ago was 19:12. I've NEVER been able to do more than 60 situps and one time. Heck yeah!

Well, I am officially on a new page, and it is quickly starting to be filled in. In the past month, I have done a lot. I flew back stateside, drank too much, ate too much, and tried to have fun. I found that my Ex-Spousal Unit To Be and I can have a conversation, but also that we are going to end our marriage after 8 years. I drove across country, spent time with mom, and then my dad. Now I am sitting in a Motel 6 in Killeen, TX and just waiting on my paycheck to hit so I can go spend FAR too much money to get a place to live. Then I'll probably drive back up to Oklahoma, get some furniture from my house in Arkansas, from my mom, and some from my dad. I did find a nice place to live, and under my BAH. I paid my application fee to get the house, and then stopped and grabbed me a Sonic cheeseburger, tater tots, and then a new gas cap for my truck. As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide my car needs washing. As I start toward the garage, I notice that there is mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mailbox earlier. I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. Just Venting
i'm in theis weird mood. have been lately. i don't what it could be. perhaps the fact that my life is motnotanous. i don't think i spelled that right. anyways. i wake up go to school, to go work, and on mon and weds go to pool. any other day during the week i'm just hanging out somewhere. nothing exciting. i rarely go to concerts or local shows cuz i get disappointed easily. and dating is so f-ed up now-a-days that even that seems like an interview or too free. i want someone who wants me but does want to be up my butt or so distant that i can't even call them to see if they want to go do something. i want a life with my special person. and i want it know. even tho i'm not going to get it for another 5 yrs. i just don't feel like waiting

I am just sitting here....bored....without the lifeline that is my cell phone. It was disconnected last night at midnight. But I have a wonderful friend who is getting it turned back on for me in another hour or so. OMG I love him to death for that. I kept telling him that I wasn't going to let him do it because I'm the one that always helps everyone else. He wouldn't take no for an answer so here I am, accepting help from him. Trips
Well I was originally supposed to go to Spain in December. Today must be my day for surprises because I am going to Mexico instead. Now I really can't complain because Hey it's a vacation and I am not paying for it, right?? Now the Spain trip was in December for 10 days. that I had time to prepare for and slowly gear up to. The Mexico trip...this one is leaving on the 18th. I guess I should be happy it's AFTER payday. !8th of October I am out for 5 days to Mexico. For my Job...then in the office for 2 days to work. Then out on Vacation for a week. I think I will drop from exhaustion! I always did like October...not just because I was born at the end of it... Nw it's shaping up to be a verrrry interesting Month! It's a shame that you have to call a funeral home to find out that a friend of yours has passed away. I did that today and it is just now starting to hit me hard. he blew his brains out last Friday and they are burying him tomorrow at 2pm. He would rather die than go to jail and do his time. I'm not sure about all the details but all I know is that he killed himself in his mother's house just up the street from me. Why didn't he just go to jail and do his time instead of taking his life? He was a good person. This whole thing makes me so damn mad!!!

It's Official
I'm old!!! AND I get surgery Nov 11th to shave the bone in my back, and move the nerve, so its not pressing, and the pain and numbness in my leg will go away...in theory. Dr. McCall says that there is an 85-90% success rate for this type of back surgery, and as they go, not many complications. I won't need a brace after, and I won't be able to drive for a month. So I get in late last night, right? Summertime is coming, and bugs of all shapes and sizes are buzzing about the porch light. Update On Return To The Doctor
So today I had to return to the doctor. They called on Friday to say I needed to make an appointment asap. So today it was. My blood levels are in a good state. Between 50 & 100 is good I think they said & mine was 81. So yay for me no iron pills. The hearts medcine got uped. My cholesterol & triglycerides are high so I'm on medicine now to bring them down. There was something else she said that the medicine for those would help. While it brings those two things down it will bring the other thing up. I can't remember what she called it. I was too busy coughin my head off. Turns out that the other reason why I been hurting in my chest was because I have bronchitis. Go figure so now that I'm done sick this early on in the year as soon as it is where I can, I'll be getting a flu shot. Because if we don't take those precautions, I'll spend all winter in the doctor's office because of being sick. Slept Like A Log
I woke up this morning in a panic. I hadn’t overslept or anything like that but I couldn’t feel my right arm. It was still very much attached but dangling by my side looking pathetically limp. Having been encased under my entire body weight for eight hours had obviously not done it much good and temporarily rendered it comatose. My arm was completely dead and there was no feeling in it whatsoever. Joint Pain Ii
The doctor was puzzled with my condition on Friday. He couldn't see or feel anything wrong. He gave me a shot in my right knee. I'm not sure if it's helping. He is recommending physical therapy for the knee and hip, and an MRI on my back, as a disc problem can cause pain in the knee and hip. I have already scheduled both for this Friday (10-3-08). I am debating whether or not to go through with the MRI, but am planning on it for right now. They are also referring me to another orthopaedic doctor who "does knees and hips". That doctor may want to give me cortizone injections, and if that doesn't help, they may have "scope it and clean it out", which would be an arthroscopic where they fill the knee with fluid, scope it, and remove debris that may or may not be inside (I had the same procedure in 2000 and they found torn meniscus cartilage that time, making for very painful recovery).

I'm feeling inspired today, not sure why but occasionally it happens. Today I'm thinking about bucket list movies and what we are supposed to be taking from them...aside from the obvious entertainment. They are usually given some deadline (pun intended) for which to cram in every fantasy and/or life experience they neglected when they were young and healthy. I've been awake for three hours because I had this dream. It wasn't really the dream I had hoped for. I was walking down a path and I ran into whitney. She was happy to see me. Monday monday monday I like Mondays. Monday means no kids in the house. Monday doesn't always affect if the Kitty is home - as in today he's working for my mom down in Galveston, after they go get tetnus shots - but normally if he works all weekend he takes off. Over the last few weeks i have spent a ton of time in court. I am in a custidy battle for my little girl . she is only 12 and from the age of 6 to 10 was rapped ... Also abused by her mother.. i wont mention any names or go into great details.. But in the last few weeks i have been told by dfs i should quite my job so i can be there 24/7 to watch over my daughter . spent days in and out of meeting with child serv dfs and other county and state reps..only to end up in court to have a judge tell me that the rap and abuse of my daughter (which took place in the mothers home while she was there) and the mother took part in is not a reason to remove the child from her living arangment.. I just dont understnd it I know longer know where to turn durning this time frame my daughter has been getting theapy and is doing better but after this new she ran away and is now in jdc .. i only want what is best for my kid and i cant see how staying in a home full of abuse is good for anyon

Making Changes
Making changes of any kind is hard> Sometimes it means you give up everything for the one you love and care about. Changes might mean moving away from friends and family or moving to a new country to be with the one you love. Yes changes are hard but we make them. Making my change has been great for me. Everyone makes changes whether good or bad ones. The changes I have made lately have been very good. Yes this is a big change for me but very well worth it. Sometimes the changes are not always the right ones but we learn from them. When changes are made sometimes the people you love get lost in the shuffle..but take a few minutes to explain the changes to them and they will understand. Making changes too quickly is not always the best thing but we do learn from them. Changing your hair color is easy---Life changes can be hard--just think them out and it will be fine. Remember most changes in life are for the best. Just dont lose your loved ones while making them.

Everyone Has Their Limitations...mine Were Met The Weekend Before
Good Morning. I sit here yawning to beat the band. That was one long week and short weekend. I hate Inventory time, it truly stinks. So tid bits of my weekend before, the infamous weekend to Hart Michigan with the sports crew. I call them the sports crew due to these guys frequent the same sporting circles, Softball, Bowling and Golf. Over the years they gained players and friends due to the various sports we guys played together. So this year it was held in Hart Michigan. A small community north of Muskegon Michigan. One could not have picked a better weekend weather wise. The temperature was mid 70’s to 80 and the sun was shining without clouds. The tournament was to be a three day event. If I could have a penny for every time I was told, "Dang, it must suck to have to wear that Thing on your head!". Evil On A Sunday .....?
I was raised in the church. For some that means only going on your worship day, and raising hell all week. For me it meant I was in church at least 5 times a week, for any number of reasons. My Mom was an Evangelist and my stepdad was a Trustee, so at any given moment we would be at the church doing something. I went to Bible camps during the summer, even did coorespondence with the Billy Graham Crusade when I was just a kid. I say this to make a point: I gotta go to church on Sunday. Sure I know this is not Live Journal or My Space, but I am sure that there are a lot of people here with a lot more on there minds than just leveling up. Furthermore,It can only help you to level up if you post blogs and have people rate them and comment on them. You could make real friends rather than just Acquaintances you like to peek at. There are institutions in place that create such believable myth that our minds cant possibly process them fast enough to realize the rediculousness. It smothers so many so quickly that it is easier to just allow it to run its course then to satnd up and think about it. Some of us aren't strong enough, some of us aren't compelled, and some of us just dont care. And so we are littered with ideas and are told what ideals we should hold as righteous and so we do. Yeah we try and make them our own by massaging them and giving them new names, but the ideas are the same. Trust Issues
Ok I have this BIG problem... The guy I am with has been in some trouble... But he's a good guy.. The only problem is that I've dating guys like him before and they only end up in heartache. Life And Other Stuff.
An Embarrassing Encounter. The other day I had an encounter with an "ex" that proved to be most embarassing. I use the term "ex" loosely as Kyle and I had only dated briefly, going out several times over the course of a few months . When I knew Kyle, he was a sweet shy, bespecticled intellectual, with a scaggelly beard and tweed jacket. He would talk on endlessly about e.e. cummings and Kurosawa films. His cerebral approach to life was quirky but charming. Nothing serious developed out of the relationship. Calls and get togethers became less and less frequent and slowly we drifted apart without any animosity or drama. Then the other day I saw him again for the first time in almost a year. I was on my way to the laundry mat, wearing sweats, hair in a scruntch, toting a bag of dirty clothes (i.e. looking HORRIBLE) when he passed me on the street. Do the math :) Apparently They Also Filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and From what I've read (Correct Me If I'm Wrong) Their Own Insurance (Federal Insurance, As All Banks Have) Are'nt Bailing Them Out or Protecting Them ... there's also rumors that we're about to face a economical "Melt-Down" if We're not bailed out with $700 Billion .. Crazy .. aint it? is it all coincidental? or are we on our way to a complete Economical Melt-Down? Seriously ... wtf

My Cheri..written By Someoen Vrey Special Who Seems To Be Lost Now
This blog was not written by me, but for em. The man who wrote this was and is very dear to me, but seems to be lost to me now. I am posting this because it meant the world to me. Even if he is gone from my life forever, which I sincerly hope isn't the case. This will always be a constant remindr of a very special time in my lif and a most amazing man. My Cheri time ticks by and still i think of you, been such a long time since i've had another person on my mind for what seems like all day and night you even see me in my dreams. I have made so so many bad decisions as of late, but the decision to let the universe unfold as it should when it comes to you i beleive to be my best decision to date. how quickly i've begun to develope some very strong feelings for you. yes some of you reading this might think i'm foolish or possibly totally insane, well i just don't care what these nerdowells say. i have found something in my life that is truly special and i refuse to let it go

To Much Pain
I can't seem to get things right anymore. I always fall for the wrong girl. The pain I feel is what I deserve. I will never get the one I really want in life. I guess she doesn't exsist. All I wanted is for someone to love me for who I am. someone who is family orientated and puts family first. Non smoker preferable, D/D free. Some one who is beautiful inside and out. Someone who can appreciate that I give to my community. Since she doesn't exsist, I have put my heart in a vault behind a wall, never to be opened again.
