The Dark Within
something is trying to escape, i can't tell what it is. it can't be good, what ever it may be. every night it tries harder and harder to reach me, burrowing deeper and deeper inside my soul. i close my eyes and try to rid myself of this torment...but all it does is show itself more frequently. it's ruining me, making me paranoid, everywhere i go i watch my back. always feeling that something is right behind me, breathing on my neck; sitting on my shoulders. just want to be normal, just want to be sane. wanting to be anything but...! its trying to release even now, as i am writing this. everything is becoming more fluid and almost shapeless. i can no longer hide myself from myself. no longer can i keep lying to my conscience. i can no longer resist it. resist the dark within.

Well to start with i am here in mobile al. but i came from upstate N.Y. i was a cop for 6 1/2 yrs and also a seabee in the navy reserves. i served in desert storm where i came back without so much as a paper cut and got shot on the job at home. What Edisto Electric Did To Me And My Family!
On 9/25/08 Edisto Electric came out and turned off my power when I was not home. When I called them to ask why they said I had not paid them in 3 months I quickly proved them wrong but they refused to turn my power back on until I pay my bill ($391) and give them an additional $225 (bringing my security deposit from $75 to 300) and give them a $50 reconnect fee. Now on that was 9/25 this happened and on Sat 11/11/08 I received a FINAL bill (not even 30days after cut off) where they refunded my original security deposit (from 7 years ago) of $75. It is my personal belief that they did this as a way to increase there security deposit by brute force. The sad part about this electric company's actions is they it not only affects me but it affects a totally disabled woman and 2 children. Well being back within the us borders is just ok. I miss him so much i know that. I am so happy he is taking me away for the holidays. I am now 18 so nothing is going to get in my way anymore. Alright, this was cute......... Yesterday afternoon, Lil' Man was sitting in the hallway with all his toys, just..makin' a mess and fully enjoying the new ginormous truck he just got. Yesterday October 14th, 2008 we had our last final good byes to raymond (pat). the service was beautiful on top of a mountain like. this time of year was his favorite the leaves changing color he loved so much. he was layed to rest next to his mom and dad. i have to say it is hitting much harder on me today as i pack my things and my childrens things. I Might As Well Give Up!!
I received notice that SSI has turned me down again. Some judge who has never met me or talked to me, has made a decision that will affect my life. As if I would willingly give up a job where I made $1600 a month for a measly $780 in SSI benefits. I like not being able to pick up my 2yr old grandson. I like having to be in pain all of the time because of a congenital nerve condition in my back. Or that I didn't work hard enough the last 40 years of my life to deserve the benefits. So... is life a game, are we just actors set aforth a stage, with displays of what we know to be life in our own little way? Could it be that the people we are could turned out to be so different? Crazycracker passed away early this morning, apparently dead of starvation. He was found under his desk at work with a peice of partially chewed pressboard in his mouth. He was 38 years old. Those who knew Crazycracker had probably been asked to bring him food. Sadly, many of these "friends" declined, because they lived too far away, or didn't have a GPS. He had asked not to be buried. In leiu of a burial, his last wishes were to be stuffed by a taxidermist and posited in such a way that fubar friends could pose with him for pictures. His untimely death of starvation surely comes as a surprise to many who would have expected him to die at the hands of a jealous husband.

My Back
OK well after seeing doctors for a few months, I need spinal fusion of the L5-S1 and a flexrod on L5-L3 to help with tension from the fused joint. Right now there is about 1-2mm between my L5-S1 when there should be almost an inch. I causes my left leg to go numb as soon as I stand up. After talking to the doctor, his assistant, and a few people that either had or have siblings that had surgery I've decided to go ahead with the surgery because I cant wait anymore, I want to get back to work. I will be in the hospital for a week then in a brace for 3-12 months. But I will be able to drive a truck again.

oh yes way .. there will be a new addition to our family in just a short time ... And no i'm not pregnant ( bite your tongue!) .. I'm going to be a Grandmother !... Hello.I havent been on here much at all in the last month or so.I have been so freakin busy.I work all the time now it seems.I work so much that my son told me sunday that he likes his Daddy more then me,I work to much.Talk about heart break. But I told him that I have to work so he can have things and be taken care of.Dave and I have both been sick off and on we just take turns lol Last month was our 4 yr anniv. I love him so much.We both have changed and grown so much in 4 yrs.Dave has become an amazing father.And thanks to have I have become a stronger person.We have went thru alot together and it has been worth it.The crap made us closer and stronger.Not bad for a couple that some said wouldnt last a week! On the 23rd I am getting a new tattoo!!! I am so freakin looking forward to it and I just cant wait.Its going to be huge, covering my whole upper back from neck to the middle of my back and side to side.We are thinking it will take 6 to maybe 8 hours or more.

I learned recently that a friend of mine dad's shot himself and killed himself. I feel so bad. :( I couldn't imagine what she's going through right now. Lately I have been taking alot of heat from people. I have tried to be strong and not let it get to me. The more people treat me like a punching bag the more I am like why am I even here. I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start. His 2nd Trip To Philly
DJ just left about 2 hours ago. I miss him. It's like it gets harder and harder for us to leave one another. I love him, I cannot wait for us to move in. We are hoping to be into an apartment by January after my Nephew is born. Tuesday After DJ's bus got here we picked him up and went to get Cheesesteaks at Tony luke's in South Philly. We also went to Chester Casino and gambled a little bit but DJ hates gambleing although he helped me win like $40 bucks because we played a game that we didn't know how to and we thought it broke but we really won. Then I lost it playing black jack haha. Wednesday we went downtown to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and Betsy Ross house. Thursday we babysat Haydn & Jade. I took them to the playground, read books, had cheesesteaks for lunch because my baby is addicted to them already. Then we went home. I don't care. Friday afternoon around 5:30pm I was on my way home when I received a phone call and was told to pull over and check my news page on my phone. Carrots, Eggs, & Coffee!
A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again. A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up, She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose. Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. This Coming Weekend
My husband and I are hoping to visit a club in the Portland OR area this coming weekend. We don't know if it will be Friday or Saturday night yet. Our plan is to do some role playing. Our roles will be for the night is to be single adults and go into the club separately and sit apart from one another the whole night. I Just Don't Get It
Why is it that you tell a guy exactly what you don't want. They'll say they aren't that type of guy. They make it out like they want what you want. They will swear up and down they aren't "that guy". The Birds
For some time now there have been three black birds who have been hanging around my neighborhood. I don't know if they are crows or blackbirds, but I'm pretty sure they aren't ravens. I've been watching them. Usually when I come out, one of them flies off and the other two hang around. Today I was watching them. There was a barren branch that extended above the still leafy autumn tree line. I did not see the other bird at first. Not untill the two crows (I think I have decided they are crows) landed on the branch and it ruffled its feathers. I think it was a hawk or a peregrine. It blended well with the background of the leaves. At first the crows just sat there and the larger bird became more and more uncomfortable untill it took off. The crows followed it into the sky as it slowly circled away. They made a few swoops at her wing feathers. I'm not sure why I think of the larger lighter colored bird as a she. Music...what is it? The classical definition is " Music is an art form in which the medium is sound organized in time. first and foremost, I'm moving out of my place today. I have decided to leave a good amount of furniture, give away some food, some clothes and throw away a bunch of stuff. I was going to keep these couches I got for free that are really comfortable, but they're heavy and have way too many memories "stored" in them. Since they were free and have to be re-covered I'm not too concerned about it. Someone's always getting rid of something somewhere. Coconut Rice N' Meatballs.
I made this last night with just what I had in the house. Feel free to copy and improve! For the rice: 1 12 or 14oz. can of coconut milk 1 1/2 c. long grain rice 1/2 stick cinnamon a couple of thin slices of fresh ginger salt to taste extra water just in case it needs to be added For the meatballs: 1lb. of whatever ground meat you have, I used beef a couple handfulls of bread crumbs 1 egg some minced herbs, whatever you have, dry or fresh 1/2 tsp. cumin 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/2 tsp. ground coriander 1/4 tsp. cayenne 1/4 onion, grated or finely chopped 3 cloves minced garlic salt & pepper to taste Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with Pam, or just do a thin layer of olive oil. Mix up all of the meatball ingredients, shape all of your meat mixture into golfball sized meatballs and place on your cookie sheet. Pop into the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Knee Surgery
This morning I had some knee surgery done How did it get that far? In August I fell with my bicycle and hurt my left knee and my right elbow. The pain in the elbow had gone after two weeks, th eknee kept hurting. Finally I went to see the guy who had already done surgery 7 years ago on my right knee, and after the scan it showed that I had the same problem: one cracked meniscus. Solution: take it out, lol. Surgery went well (well, at least up until now, lol). Entered the operating room at 9:45am, woke up in the wake-up unit at 10:45, where they kept me in observation for another half hour, then I was taken to my room, where I slept for another hour. In the afternoon I got something to eat (I was about starving, lol), and around 3pm the orthopedic surgeon came to see how I was doing. The head nurse gave me a first shot against clogging of the blood (I have 9 to go, will have a nurse coming over at home to do that every day). I am home now, walking with crutches for the first couple

Final Good bye Grandpa Sunday we gave our finale fareweels to our grandfather. Wescattered his ashes along the edge of Hyatt lake on some open range land.Weather was beautiful, a few clouds, blue sky low 60's. Oh The Possiblities
After laying out all that I already have in the last two blogs I guess it is time to put my positive spin on things. I have always been a firm believer that fate puts you where you need to be. There is a plan for everyone and you can't fight fate. Although I loved being with my students, I was beginning to get burnt out in the environment. I have met so many who work in this environment that become callous, that is not me. I am looking at this summer and fall as fates way of saying 'Get the fuck out'. Living in this area all my life I know that the only way to get in to the county school system is to put in your time subbing the classrooms. I want to get into the county so it is time to pay my dues and do my time subbing. I was really blinded to the possiblities I have when I was working there. Udpate I Suppose
Alannah's growing in leaps and bounds it seems. She's up to 15lbs (as of the beginning of this month) and 24 1/4 inches long. She just started sitting up by herself this past weekend. Not pulling herself up into sitting but can sit up all alone. No crawling yet, well no forward movement yet. She's stuck in reverse. She's getting so big so quick! I've been feeding her some baby food, and she likes sweet peas and squash. Better than applesauce even. I have a strange child... In non baby news, work's been going alright I guess. Slow this week but its that time of year. I wish it was steadier, more structured hours. Oh well... In my personal life, I think I've decided to give up on relationships. Ah well... Summer From Hell Has To End, Right?
For those who have been talking to me for awhile or knew me from my Myspace days, you know that this summer was the summer from hell for me. I was suspended from work for some stupid crap for 10 days. The suspension had nothing to do with my performance in the classroom it was more of an administrative issue...sick leave and stuff. Before the suspension, I had began to become really frustrated with all of the bullshit you have to deal with from the adults you work with. I am not saying the my students were angels by any stretch of the imagination but they have always been very respectful of me and I have worked very hard to make their classroom experience in my room as close to that in public school as I could and they have always loved me and my class for that. Just One Of Them Days...
Have you ever just woke up and decided "screw my responsibilities"? Those days when you walk to your closet and nothing looks appealing, what does look appealing somehow doesn't fit right (even though it did last week), what you really want to wear is you most comfy pajama pants and a old (4 sizes too big) tee shirt, but sighs.. sadly that won't work a. because its in the laundry you never seemed to get to over the weekend, and b. you wouldn't be caught dead in public in it???? My Task
Oh where to begin...i was assigned the task of expressing what it is like and how it feels to be pleased by Master. i find it very difficult to do so as most of my feelings and such are just that. not describable in words. The emotions run rampant in times like this. i am a mix of shudders, shivers, hot flashes and the overwhelming desire to scream out what i feel. Problem is there are no words to say it. Just as saying i love you isn't enough, digging my nails into Him isn't enough. What it is like can't be compared to anything i know. It's pleasure is harder. Maybe if you recall your very first Candy Apple at a fair. The pride, the delight, the savoring of it's flavor and then the sadness when it's gone. Then you are reminded that next Fair you might get the chance to have it again, To repeat all the steps...over and over. This is how, for me, it feels to be pleased, then wanting more, yet wishing to give as receive. i hope this explains it well enough for another to comprehend.

Filling In The Blanks
For those of you who have yet to talk to me personally, welcome to the twisted mind of a institutionalized teacher. Let me explain that statement. I graduated with my degree in education in the spring of 98. By the fall of 98, I was working for Sylvan Learning Centers. I was there for 2 years until I fell into my present job. This is where the institutionalized part comes in. In September of 2000, I took a position as a Social Studies teacher at a maximum security juvenile prison. I have been there for 8 years. I have always loved working with the students. I have always looked at them as students and not criminals. They were always considered my kids. Dealing with the adults has always been one of my biggest problems. When they just leave me alone and let me teach, I am in heaven but the bureaucratic bullshit that you have to put up with is sometimes more than any person can handle. Hence we come to this crossroads in my life and my career.

Nothing New!
Well, I'm fairly new to Fubar, and I have met some great ppl. Specially the one who fixed my page for me. Thanks! I'm learning how to manuver my way around on here pretty good, still need some help. The only problem I have is everytime I try to upload pics on here I get friggin booted off WTF. I know, I know, I gotta get more pics on here. Maybe on day I will be able to LOL..
