Christmas
So its xmas nite....sigh.. this has to be the worse xmas i ever ever had, yet the best... I love my kids ... i have to say i have 3 of the best kids ever.... I need some help!!! I am the co-captain of a HipHop/Street dance squad(yea ok please get your white chick jokes out now). We have been invited to the qualifying round for the dance championships. We have our first dance all laid out to a slammin' reggaeton mix and our moves are tight! For those of you who have known me a couple of years, this is old hat, but for my new "friends," or for others who may be hearing of this for the first time, here goes. Every year, around St. Patrick's Day, I participate in an event called St. Baldrick's Day, wherein otherwise normal people shave their heads in an act of Solidarity with children who have cancer. The unique thing about this event is that ALL money raised goes to research of various kinds of CHILDHOOD cancer, and ONLY childhood cancer. This will be my seventh year participating in this event, making me (I believe) the only Shavee to lose his locks every year we have had an event in Pittsburgh, PA. So far, through the first 6 year, I have raised around $7000, and would like to better me yearly average this year. You may ask why I do this, and so I will tell. M.i.a.
Not sure if anyone even noticed I was pretty much MIA this past week or not. I was major sick, obviously, if it kept me off the Fu right? Thursday I finally went to the doctor because I just couldn't deal anymore. She gave me a breathing treatment in the office then gave me a script for prednisone, antibiotics, and a nebulizer. Yesterday I still felt like total hell. But today I'm finally feeling a bit better. Today is my 3rd day of totally no smoking.

Surgery Canceled For Now
o.k... went to the doctor today and he said that my condition has changed/ got worse and that he wants more test before he does any surgery. when i first went in it was for pain down the left leg and hip....now both legs are numb up to the knees....woohoo...so no surgery for the time being. I want to thank all my friends for being there for me I apperciate u!!! I think i will have to have surgery at sometime down the road though.

Been Awhile!
Its been probably almost a year since I've been back here and holy crap the changes.. first off noticed its not cherry tap no more lmao. And also noticed a lot of little changes.. hmmm get some getting used too. Life so far with me has pretty much been the same. Kids are doing find and dandy growing like weeds. Hubby and I started a gym at the end of december and also watching our calorie intake.. I've lost 17.5 so far and hes lost 24 in 3 months.. slow but good is better. spring is here! yay I so hated winter.. got a new van.. dumped the old gas hogger. And this summer I'm excited about going on vacation.. yay!

Friday The 13th
Ok, so Friday the 13th usually isn't a bad day for me. Normally I have good luck. I know, it's all superstition, but still. Anyways, today was just a day from hell. Grandfather Died Today
My grandfather passed away tonight at 11:45pm georgia time. he has been sick for quite sometime now. Mama has been in Kentucky for a week and a half with him in the hospital. she came home tonight after he was relesed then he couldnt breath and went back and when mama got home at 10:30 she got a phone call saying he had to be put on a machine to breath. they put the ventalator in and he died. so shes going back tomarrow in the morning, He didnt want her to leave and now she feels bad. Surgery
I had my surgery this morning. It went well. I had to be in there at 8 am. I was taken back to the OR at 915 and was out of there (apparently) about 10. I woke up around 11. I was home by 1230 ish. Pain meds every 4 hours. Sleep in between. Yawn.

My Mission
Ok today while I was in church, (yeah i do attend church sometimes), the pastor was talking about missions in life, and the paths in life that our mission takes us or perhaps our calling in life. Now, I believe that one of my missions was to teach pre-school, now ok done that one. But as I sat in church he was also talking about the paths in life we all take, and the paths that we take are paths that God has chosen for us. Lost & Can't Find My Way
Ok so for those of you who dont know.. My grandmother (my Mother's Mom) was in the hospital since August and died 3 weeks ago. I have been failing school because of all that is going on. Well I have been working my ass of the pass few weeks to do better. Just as I feel like things are getting better I get a call this morning as I am getting ready to go to work. The call was to tell me that my other grandmother ( my Father's Mother) had died in the middle of the night. So basically within 3 weeks I have lost 2 grandmothers. I am so totally beside myself. I am doing horrible in school and I just don't know what to do. I am not over the death of my first grandmother, havent even had much time to grieve and now I have to deal with the other grandmother passing. Along with this stress I also have to deal with seeing my father who was abusive. He is on his way from FL up here because of the death of his mother. I feel like there is too much going on all at once and I honestly dont know how

Good Day!
I had a great sunday! I went to amtgard for the first time in like 4 years. I had a blast. It wasn't just my park. I went to a kingdom event for my first trip out. I saw people that live in north texas that i have not seen in forever. It feels great to be standing there and have people run over and be like "OMG YOU ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and grab you and hug you (or in one case scream booby rub and rub her boobies on you.. long story short.. she owns me.. Ok finally gonna get it done. Years ago while in the Navy I was into piercings, 13 total. Then they became a cliche' so I pulled them all. Kinda miss my nipple studs and the two thru my penis shaft. Well now I want my tatoo. Basic idea is a metal rose on my inner forearm. Rivets and metal plates with a barb wire stem trailing up my arm to encircle my upper arm. This is a morrocan inspired dish, and it capitalizes on very wild, very diverse flavors that I had floating in my fridge nearly turning bad, initially it started with a liver flavored couscous I had made months ago, not much has changed, and yet, quite a bit has. For the base of this dish you really need nothing more than couscous and a soft liver sausage like a patte or branschweiger (pork liver) and a broth to cook the couscous in- as I find there is NO REASON to cook couscous in water when one can use broth and add a flavor element. Now as I said- this was a bit of a bit of a fridge raid, the flavors are best after some time has passed. So I had an idea to do a sort of 'timeline', if you will...on my life. Not sure why I'm about to share any of this information, but I know not many people read these things anyways. In virtually all Western societies, execution of a pregnant woman would be delayed until after the woman gave birth, which no doubt gave rise to a desperate effort on the part of some condemned women to get pregnant. There were no five-minute pregnancy tests back then, so most condemned women claimed to be with child, as a kind of last-ditch appeal. In fact, one of the most notorious early murder cases in American history involved just such a case. The beautiful 32-year-old Bathsheeba Spooner of Brookfield, Massachusetts, was convicted of conspiring to murder her wealthy elderly husband in 1778 and sentenced to die in one of the first capital cases of the new United States. Midwives -- after much argument -- decided Bathsheeba was not pregnant. An autopsy later revealed a five-month-old fetus.

Let's Have A Single's Shower!
Has anyone noticed that there's a "Shower" for everything nowadays? Baby showers, House warming parties, bridal showers, wedding showers, engagement parties...the list goes on and on. What about us who aren't getting married, aren't moving, or having kids? I know all these occassions are just ways to get expensive gifts from all of us suckers who feel obligated to show up and buy something on the registry, but really...when do we get a break?! This thought occured to me a few minutes ago while I realized that I am going to Michigan in a few days for a wedding. I've already gone to the "Wedding Shower" and bought a $300 piece of luggage that was on the damn registry and now I have to go and pay for my ticket, hotel, food, rental car, and entertainment?! This is bogus. Alright...I know I don't HAVE to go, but I'm a sucker who feels obligated to. He is a good friend after all. So here's an idea. Why don't we start a "Single's Shower?" A day where all of us "Singles" who don't have child
