Today's film was the Avengers and it's of course the first time I've watched it. Right off the bat let me tell you I'm am disappointed with almost every aspect of this film. It is just another action/superhero film. The film relies too much on the "cool" "epic" idea of the Avengers and doesn't bring anything special to the genre of the superhero film. Update..
So today I got the call I have been dreading for couple months now.  Boss told me the floors are now permanently combined. We have been combined on and off the past 3 months anyways.  I was hoping by some miracle we would pick up..and they would  keep both floors going.   Anyways,  everyone keeps there job..but with all the extra people.. we will not get all our hours we usually get. I have been getting on call every pay..at least 8 to 16hrs .   Luckily the other secretary from my floor is going to another unit so that will be one less person to share hours with.   With the floors combined..we have alot of patients up on my floor.   So more stress.  Well anyways I guess i can be thankful that i still have a job. I guess now that the news isout i can stop dreading it so much..and just learn to live with it.

Piercings
I have decided that I want a few more piercings and I want to redo some that I have had in the past. I'm going to repierce my nipples, I just hope that this time I can keep some of the women from pulling and playing with them when they find out I've got them, that is until they have completely healed. That was my problem with the last nipples piercings I had. I already have 2 piercings in each lobe and thinking about one more in each ear through the cartilage. The last one I'm looking at is a Prince Albert, if you know what that is then I give you credit on knowing your piercings. Most people just giggle about that one and they are not sure what it really is. I've been thinking about this one for a while now. Just have not completely decided about it. I love both piercings and tattoos and if you've got them and we talk then that's a plus for you. Now I just need to take the time to go into Body Staind and have them done. While I'm there I may have a couple of tats done too.

Feeling Better..

A certain song says that every new beginning starts from some other beginning's end. I admit, I should have had more faith in these people. Instead of wasting my time, they sat down and gave me a thorough walkthrough of what their company was about. So schools been going okay. It seems like lately we've been cramming everything.Like we have no time to really study or get to at least completely understand our stuff. I Have Been Doing Some Thinking......
Ok I have come to this decision after much thought and consideration. I am retireing from being a DJ. My Health is fading a lot faster than I would like and I just dont have the energy anymore. so I'm thinking... what do I do now? I have been a "real" teacher for a college... for the last year, and now I teach fiber optics for a trade/tech school.. Should I find some more work and teach some other types of classes.. or should I sign up for school, and go to college to get my bachelors degree? My goals are to open my own school teaching various sound/video oriented classes... like studio wiring, editing, sequencing... etc and also teach some specific trades like fiber optics & structured cabling... but I'd also like to go back to DJ-ing gigs... I recently went to Birmingham, AL to visit my best friend. While I was there, her boyfriend took me to the shooting range. it was the first time I had eve shot a gun. Steve started me off with a barney fife .38. I didnt do so well. Next, he coached me on a 380- again not so well. Finally, the .45 came around and yep not so well. After a few more rounds- I gained the 'line of sight' and it was on. Head shots rang out on my targets and I was having fun. Friday February 9, 2007 was a very typical day for us starting out. I played with my daughters Alanna (6 mos) and Melody (who is now forever 1 year 6 months and 17 days old) during the day. I filed for Paternity with the court, alot of good that will do unless I can get the papers served. Melody is leaving the state so serving her will be hard, it was hard enough just to get all the paperwork done & filed. I got some bad news,seems to be there's alot of that going on for me as of late. My brother and his wife has screwed over me and my entire family, he has borowed money from us and stole from us, and just today he decideds to leave and go back to the other side of the state were his wife has family.for the past three months he never once has payed my parents any rent for living with them and he has no desire to get a job the last job he had he didn't give the place a two week notice and he just quit. 6 months ago TODAY, I pulled into Fort Worth, Texas and met Chris face to face for the first time. I was on a one week vacation as I lived in California at the time and was suppose to go back, but ended up staying. (Long Story but one definately worth hearing one day). I just want everyone to know that today marks our 6 month anniversary and although many might think that is nothing, to us it was a significant day in our relationship as it was the beginning of something that has only flourished since then. Ok, Last night, I headed out to go down to my favorite hang out place on the weekends, The Irish Pub. It's a short walk to downtown from my place right now. When I move back into the barracks, I'll have catch a cab but this is a good set up for now. Anyway, as soon as I hit the street, I could here the music and knew it was gonna be a GREAT night. Egg Foo Young
Egg Foo Young This somewhat forgotten dish makes a great brunch item. Serves 2-4 6 Eggs 2 cups Mixed Oriental vegetables (canned) 2 tablespoons Oil Sauce: 1/2 cup Chicken broth 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar 2 tablespoon Soy sauce 1 teaspoon Cornstarch Heat the sauce ingredients (except the cornstarch). Mix the cornstarch with 1 teaspoon of cool water and whisk it into the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside. Heat the oil in a heavy skillet. Whip the eggs. Drain the vegetables. Add them to the eggs. Spoon the mixture into the skillet to form small patties. Turn, browning on both sides. Serve warm, drizzling the warm sauce over the patties.

Bourbon Balls It's no surprise that these no-cook holiday favorites come from Kentucky. They are sometimes dipped in chocolate rather than rolled in powdered sugar. Makes about 3 dozen 1 cup Vanilla wafers 1 cup Pecans 1 cup Powdered sugar 2 Tablespoons Cocoa 2 ounces Bourbon 2 ounces Corn syrup, white Place the wafers in a food processor and grind until fine. Place in a bowl. Add the pecans into the food processor and grind until fine. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Form into balls, roll in additional powdered sugar, and refrigerate.

A Warning To My Friends
Yes even though Im in the computer biz and I help so many people avoid infections and spyware I was just a victim of being ripped off on the internet. Wind Gust Up To 62 Mph Here!!
It was storming here, with wind gust up to 62 mph. Rain, wind, thunder, and lightening. So I am working at the bar tonight 10/17/07 and the fire departments head guy comes in. I didn't think nothing of it, til I look at his face. He told me that my huge tree in my front yard fell on my house. i said you have to be kidding me, he said no I need you to go home and check it out. So I had to go up home and sure enough my tree is laying on my house. It was still storming so we really could not see much but my husband went inside and made sure the roof was not leaking and no broken windows. So now tomorrow I will not be at work at my first job so I can stay home and clean up the damn tree. The worst thing is right now we don't know how much damage there is until we get the tree off the house!! i will post pictures when i can. UPDATE::: Got the tree all cleaned up now. Insurance adjuster just came out today 10/19/07 and told me some very good news! So now we can get our house fixe

Stroke Update
Ok - I'm new to this blog stuff and didn't know I could post a separate comment. It's Sunday and I haven't heard much... so Uncle Clarence's heart is still beating (they don't have him on life support). My daughter (Linda from Los Angeles) told me that his brain is still bleeding, and when it does that it is destroying healthy brain tissue). They may intubate him to keep his oxygen saturation up if he stops breathing... just to see if his brain damage is not so severe. I'm confused about a lot of it, but I'm just hanging in there. Austin wanted to make a card for him, so they had me write some words and they copied them. He is 5 and wrote "Uncle Clarence, we are sorry that you are sick, love Austin and Chloe" and he just copied it and brought it to me. I couldn't help it - I started crying and it scared them I think. Clay Balls A man was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls.
