Very Sore Today
I had my first Radio Frequency shot this morning. I had gone through the series of the facet steroid injections, and now these for my lower back. They did the right side and I will have to go back and they will do the left. Candles For The Babies
It all started with seeing how many people I could get to put up a candle as their avatar on the night of October 15th for Pregnancy and Infant loss remembrance day. Then I thought since October is Pregnancy and infant loss awareness month....I would see how many people this has touched by trying to get as many people to put up the candle til the end of October. There have been some great friends of mine that have helped but sadly many of my friends and family have been letting me down. They can post and repost all kinds of bulletins about crap and silly shit but it would take TOO LONG to repost and rip this candle to put up. I have even made new friends solely through their support of my mission. Pumpkin pecan bars are made with a cookie crust, pumpkin filling, and cream cheese topping. Topping: 1 small package (3 ounces) cream cheese 1 cup confectioners' sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 24 pecan halves PREPARATION: Grease an 8-inch square baking pan. Combine cookie crust ingredients; press into the prepared baking pan. Bake crust for 10 minutes at 350°; place on a wire rack to cool completely. Prepare filling. Breast Cancer
As many of my closest friends know, i have had several close people to me who have battled with breast cancer. My family was hit by it several times and my best friends in Virginia know the heartache and pain the followed as i tried to help my mother thru her chemo and radiation therapy... it was very hard to see my mother in pain and there was nothing i could do to help her... but i did what i could to take care of her and she appreciated all that i did. Last night was a bit of fun. First off was the external grafitti. We looked at the first one that came in and the person dealing with it cleaned it up before they moved the train, then they put another train with even more external graf LOL. Yeah the person doing it wasn't laughing at first. Then later on i get a call over the radio for some asistance, so off i go and find a drunk passenger. Damn was he hard to wake up, but we got there. At first he started to get up and try and get off but we had to explain why he couldn't and should follow us. Where do I start, I am 30, been married for the last ten years, I have three kids, 12F, 7M, 6F. People have asked me lately where I am from and I have to be honest it feels like to nowhere. Ok I've been thinking on something. Why is it everyone has there guard set so high? Yeah I know we've all been hurt and don't want to go through it again. I can understand that. Ddr Game Preferences
Alright, since I was asked about this by a few local DDR players, I'm going to mention that as a rule I usually only play the Japanese releases of DDR due to the numerous issues that the US series has had. The best example of this is that the Japanese version of Extreme had 112 songs, used the same interface as the arcade, had the best consistent sync in the series to date, and also had options to unlock all hidden songs and features in the Japanese versions MAX and MAX2. The US version on the other hand only had 70 songs with most of them not even coming from the arcade version of Extreme, had severe sync issues, changed the grading system to require a full combo to AA a song, and didn't even have the Dance Play Option available so outside of hacking the save file the corner buttons also functioned as arrows. Ddr Supernova Us Review
Alright, now that I finally broke down an got the adaptor required for my US PS2 to play DDR online, I was able to finally comphrensively check out the game in full. In terms of graphics, this is using the same engine that was introduced in DDR Extreme US which honestly as even though it does return to the look that the series had prior to 5th Mix, I lean more towards the layout used in DDR Extreme due to how streamlined it was. The major difference though is that instead of using video backgrounds, they now have put the dancing characters into a background setting instead of putting them in front of the video so it's much less jarring. There are songs though that will carry their respective videos like a large amount of songs from Beatmania IIDX and the licensed songs. As for songlist, they did something right for once in that instead of repeating a substansial amount of songs like I saw happen in the US incarnations of MAX, MAX2, and Extreme they have decided to put in only s

Desktop Arcade Pop'n Controller

Inspiration....
This was an issue with me and my girlfriend...she doesn't think its right that I continue on with my bf which is my baby's father...I've been with him longer than her, but now she is showin her jealous side and I can not handle it...I think after sleepin on it...We r finished...I don't believe in monogamy..it shoud have been made a four letter word...So im goin to her house before work and break it off..I think one can love another deeply and yet still lust towards others...after all its said and done I think I'll be happier...LOL...now I can lust after new people..ANY TAKERS? lol

Finally Home.......
Yesterday my daughter and I came home from the hospital. Her surgery went really well. She had one night when her blood pressure dropped really low and started to get fluid in her lungs but she fought it all. The doctors were surprised at how quickly she was bouncing back from open heart surgery. Granted she didnt like her chest tube, central line and external pacemaker removed but it was a sign of improvement on her half. I knew she would be fine. She was fighting her ventilator after surgery so they removed it and she did just fine. I knew my baby girl was a fighter like me. Now its just relaxing and recooping time for the both of us. Hopefully in a few weeks she will be back to running around and gabbing on the phone.

I'm not quite sure how I became so blessed to have such a wonderful fam as I do in my UK fam. I do have to thank LC for being here....and for allowing me to meet my Love Serena, I have the added benefit now of her awesome kids in my life too, along with my own.... Serena's eldest child sent me a comment that brought tears to this sentimental old fart...how can I not love them. I feel unworthy, humbled and so loved.. was an unprovoked attack,it seems to happen a lot to people these days,just dint think it would be me. after spending several hours in the casualty dept of the local hospital it was discovered that i had been hit so hard that i had a fractured jaw,my cheek bone broken in 2 places,my front teeth knocked out and my eye socket broken in 5 places. after various x-rays,cat scans and probing by various doctors and specialists,i am currently waiting for the hospital to phone me to let me know when i can go in for surgery to repair the damage. i'm in a lot of pain and suffering from blurred vision BUT life goes on doesnt it?, i wont let this put me off going out. thank you all again my LC friends, you mean a lot to me.love you all simon x x x x

My Precious Mom
Well I am sitting here feeling sort of lonely. As I have stated in my "About Me" section... I take care of my disabled Mom. She was a victim of a Stroke last January, and 3 Heart Attacks since then. Going through this left her in a wheel chair, and extensive therapy! She is just starting to take steps... have more moblity when something dreadful happened ! Again yesterday morning she woke up screaming, rushing I gave her her medicine that is needed to reverse her symptoms.. called 911 and she was Life Squaded to the hospital again... with Stroke Like Symptoms! She has had several testing since yesterday, 2 CT scans. Lots and lots and lots of Lab work. EKGS, CHEST XRAYS.. They even ordered a stress test ( which we as a family refused ) .. and several more things above and beyond all that ! My Weird Day Part One
I was awaken by a big bang this morning that really upset me because I was very tired. So I got out of bed and went to get dressed. As soon as I was dressed, I did the usual reach for my smokes. But when I opened the box, I seen that all my smokes were multiple colors of the rainbow. At this time I was completely confused by this. I find myself as an adult thinking about those things little things really that i was and will be denyed because of not having a father. Now I know everyone has a father, I do. But long ago he partly choose not to be and partly the state decided that he was unfit to be my father. I won't go into what happened that caused that descion but I have not and will prob. never forgive any of the three people involved in forcing the state to make that descion. I went to this bar called Breakers to play pool and there was this guy there that I will remember for the rest of my life. He was dressed much like everyone else, but he sounded like Vince Vaughn's character, Raji, from Be Cool. He was loud and obnoxious and completely full of shit. Six months ago today, the other half of me went to meet his Savior. He was tired... he'd fought very hard to stay on this earth as long as possible, but the cancer won. He'd been told on October 6th of last year that he had 3 to 6 months to live. He went through two clinical trials and radiation to try and slow it down. He said he had to try them because every day that he fought the cancer was another day that he got to spend with me. We worked as a team to keep him strong for as long as we could, but the cancer was evil... stole his appetite, stole his strength, stole his laughter, and stole his life... Our life. My Foot
Well lets see the other night i broke my foot and it hurts like pain i have never felt before. Its a bitch trying to get around and now i have to go back to campus, this should be fun to watch, to bad i am the star of the show. What A Day....
**Sigh** Well today started off good, it was sunny (a rare thing in Juneau) but then the jeep deside to be an evil beast...It started to over heat and I wasnt even driveing very far! I think the water pump deside to die on me...so as of tomarrow the jeep goes into the dealership to get looked at, hopefully it will be nothing expencive.
